They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). We had a 48-hour power outage during the Snowpocalypse that hit the Portland area. As a result,…read morewith a freezing cold weather and no heat, it was 34 degrees inside my home. When the power came back, it killed the thermostat of my Lennox HVAC system. The problem is that you can just get any other thermostat as it has only 4 wires... and no Lennox thermostats available in stores. So, I called for help on Yelp and Home Comfort Heating & Air responded very quickly, they had a thermostat available in stock, and believed they could re-wire my system to make it work. Noe came and did all of that in less than an hour, checking also the furnace and condensation pump. All in all, they were available on a holiday (today was MLK day), answered all my questions, were efficient in the solution, and very reasonable in the cost. They won my business, and I can't recommend them enough for any HVAC work. They are truly amazing.
