Awesome air came and inspected my existing mystery unit and made every attempt to diagnose and repair it. When that was not possible I got a quote on a new unit installed at a very reasonable cost and even better, same day installation! The new unit was installed with a nicer pad, it's quiet, it works the space I have very efficiently, and the work looks SO MUCH BETTER than what was previously installed. Updating my last review: second company gave us a quote and said that what the Awesome air heating and cooling folks were going to do would not have fixed the problem and would have made cooling an issue (though might have helped with the heating). I requested a quote for installing a regular filter in my gas furnace to replace an electric filter that had stopped working and was expensive to replace. Ron responded promptly and gave me a reasonable price and did the install quickly. The price was 1/5 of the quote from my usual service provider. We paid for complete duct replacement due to rodents under the house. Around $4000. The job was estimated to take 2 days. The crew said they were done early the first day. I inspected and found 3 of the old duct runs with evidence of rodents in them still in place. The crew had to return the next day to finish the job. I was told there was a miscommunication! I was very pleased with the promptness of their reply to my request for service. They were able to come out within a few days and called to confirm the day of our appointment. They were courteous, respectful and very efficient. I was also pleased that I was charged exactly what they'd said it would cost and it was a reasonable amount of $100 for dryer vent cleaning. We are new to the area and had our AC go down during the hottest week of the year. I was certain I wouldn't be able to get same-day service, but came across Ron and Awesome Air. They were here within an hour. Super professional, knowledgeable and diligent. We have a unique heat pump system and Ron was able to identify the issue. We found our AC/Heating Guy! He's just started his own company, (which is why the lack of reviews) but brings lots of experience and definitely has the customer service thing down. I requested a quote and the owner, Ron, was here within the next couple hours and gave me his honest opinion about my furnace and what to expect out of replacing the entire thing OR replacing the broken down part.
