The food and drinks were great, but the service was HORRIBLE! The following numbers are not exaggerated at all. We waited for over 20 minutes to be able to order our food and it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive at our table. We were a table for 2. My wife ordered salmon and I ordered a burrito - simple stuff. The place was not packed. There were plenty of tables still available. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone because there are too many wonderful options in downtown Fullerton that are much much better. read more

We've been here a couple of times since they opened, and what's impressive is they seem to be getting better and better. A lot of places open and are great at first, and go down hill in quantity, quality, and pricing. I came here on a weekday to meet a friend and the main thing that brought us in was the ambiance and happy hour specials! I really enjoyed chips and guacamole, chicken tinga taquitos, and wings. They are known for their tapas style dishes so it's perfect to try a little bit of everything. We started off with a couple shooter shots and house margaritas which were strong yet tasty. This place has horrible service! We came here on Saturday for brunch, as their IG reel posted the Wednesday just before advertised 2 for 1 drinks. We confirmed with the waitress that the special was still valid (it was posted just a couple days before we went). She gave us the green light, so we ordered our drinks. We would not have ordered the drinks otherwise! To our dismay, upon delivering our bill, she told us the special wasn't valid and we were charged full price. That is FALSE ADVERTISING!! We spoke with the manager, a woman with zero customer service skills. She argued that we didn't read the fine print of the reel and that she could do absolutely nothing about it. Screenshot of the reel is attached. There is no "fine print" and why would they post something for the week on a Wednesday and refuse to honor it at the end of the week, a Saturday. Ridiculous. This manager is on a power trip. After arguing back and forth she went back and gave us a $2 dollar discount on a $117 bill -- When our bill should have been maximum $50. I can't believe this establishment hired such incompetent people. And moreover, the lack of care and concern. Tips for the restaurant - train your staff. Fire that manager. Honor your advertising. Tips for the community - this restaurant is NOT FOR THE PEOPLE. Food is subpar and you will be guaranteed a very cold experience. They will cheat you out of your money. I would suggest you check out any other place on that street. As a manager of an eatery myself, dealing with employees and customers regularly - I hate to write this review. But also as a manager, I understand how crucial customer service is. Food sells itself, but the team makes the entire experience. Upon entering you see cool lounge with plenty Bn of tables and a huge open bar. I would like to suggestvtgihis place makes for great big parties or even small family gatherings. Plenty of food choices. I even had a private meeting here and the service was great. If they keep adding to their delicious menu, it's going to be hard making up my mind as to what to order. We parked at the public parking on Wilshire and walked to ZAMA Lounge. As we entered, you hear throwback 2000s music as we were greeted by the waitress who mentioned that it was open sitting. There's a couple of sitting options at ZAMA like high tables, half booth/ half table, and regular tables. We ended up sitting at the half booth/half table option. I ordered the Coconut Mojito, fries, and a fish taco and cauliflower taco. It was really delicious! Though it took about 15mins for our food to come out, it was worth the wait! I came here for my sister's birthday dinner, and we had a large group of 15 people. The seating was a bit funky but the owner and his team tried their best at making room for us and making us feel comfortable. The ambiance was decent, the lighting was good for an evening dinner with the girls and the music was a nice mix of 2000's rnb and hip hop. My only critique was that it was a playlist on a loop, so you would hear the same song a few times over. For food I order the side salad with a side of chicken; along with the shrimp and asada taco. This is a Latin-inspired restaurant located in Downtown Fullerton, open for brunch, lunch, and dinner (and late night drinks on weekends). I'm a bit surprised that yelp is "not recommending" many of the reviews here as this place is SUPER cool. This used to be Branagan's in-between Buffalo exchange and Roman Cucina. Drinks were excellent. I'm glad there is another bar downtown doing drinks this well. The Paloma I had was delicious. My wife's huckleberry mojito was equally good. The Taquitos were incredible. I will absolutely order them again. So good! The Lemon salmon sushi was plated very well, and honestly it was better than I thought it would be given that this is not a sushi restaurant. Both my wife and I were feeling like sushi so we went for it. I probably won't order sushi again next time as they have a lot on the menu that sounds excellent, but if you are in the mood for sushi, try it! I will be back for sure. Had a reservation here with about 9 people in our party plus a baby in a stroller. They sat us right away at a table the accommodated our stroller, which was much appreciated. The drinks were tasty, but the food was a hit or miss. Some dishes were delicious ( like the chicken sandwich and fries) and others kind of "missed the mark". It also took a long time for all of our dishes to be served. We all tried to wait until everyone was served with the dish, so some of our plates became cold while waiting for the rest of our party to be served. Stopped by early on a Saturday night, at 6pm not crowded, by 7pm it was filling up. My wife is a picky drinker and the server and bartender were great. Beer was good too. This place was such a vibe Went for brunch and bottomless mimosas on Saturday & Ryanne was really sweet. The food was really good and you get options between pineapple juice, orange, and cranberry for the mimosas. $25 bucks for a 2 hour limit, absolutely. It was the day before Mother's Day, which I am so happy they offer the option on Saturday and Sunday. But I was shocked that they weren't more busy. Their chili wings were so good. Where to start.. Well, I'll start with the food. It's decent, it's nothing I'd come back for though. You can find this level of flavor and selection most anywhere. The Birria was ok, tad fatty. The consume was bland. Also had the chicken taquitos, those were somewhat dry but again, just decent. Guacamole and salsa were not great, I would say you'll find better at any run of the mill chain restaurant or stay home and buy premade, it'll taste better! Tried the Old Fashioned and Margarita. Again, decent, but nothing you can't find at any of the local bars in Fullerton. The Old Fashioned was bit heavy on the simple syrup or sugar. My issue here though.... is the service. To put it simple, avoid this place until the ownership takes this seriously. The front of house is a MESS! It's a group of friends. No boss here. Whomever the floor manager is, isn't keeping things in check. She's hanging around, certainly not moving much and isn't a real boss, or a true position of authority. Our server took a break, and the bartender who covered the floor didn't check with us one time and the supposed floor manager didn't let us know our server was even on break, nor did our server tell us. Instead, we got left dry with empty glasses and waiting to make our order for food after our appetizer round. When that opportunity finally arrived (after our servers break, NOT from the bartender who was covering), the Waygu was not available. So, by this time I was pissed and didn't eat. My daughter and wife made concessions on their choices. When their food did come, it was lukewarm AT BEST. I assure you... one visit from the health board and this place gets hammered. The kitchen staff, however, seems to be on the food orders, it's coming quickly and for what it is, it is presented very well actually, BUT the food temperature, MY GOD, don't be shocked if you get sick. Vibes were immaculate. Me and my friends wanted to go bar hopping so this was our first stop. We tried that Cancun Waters which was a fruity tequila drink that was really yummy. I myself don't really like drinking but you can't really taste it if you were to order that drink. We also tried the Rosemary Mule which was also good and not too strong. We then ordered the chips and guacamole and it was so good and they give you a good amount of guac. The bartender was super nice and super sweet.
