Zakys is always good , fresh , tasty . Greek salad is my go too , also falafel, and the chicken kabobs. The rotisserie chicken is also fire . All the sauces and sides are always on point as well Staff is always friendly, I usually call in so I don't have to wait long But they can get busy at times as well ! Always good tho !

The pita bread however really stinks! It was thin, and almost crispy like. Pita should be soft and fluffy.

The chicken and rice is amazing! Pita bread really terrible. Thin and dry. I'll still come back but you should really step up your pita game. It truly makes a meal.

Two protein plate with 3 sides. This is supposedly two sides of fries. 12 fries in total.

I really like the food from this place BUT I wish they were constant with what they give you. I always order the same thing and I always get different portions of things. The two protein plate comes with 3 sides, I asked for veggies and two sides of fries. I spent 27 dollars! And they gave me 12 fries I went back and asked and the worker told me that was the amount but last time I asked for the same thing and they gave a bag of fries plus what was in my plate. Sadly my last time going here. Go to chino pollo or Juan pollo, you'll get waaay more for your moneys worth

Whenever I find myself in the I.E. I make sure and stop off here. Food is always so good. Made to order. Service is always friendly. Place is nice and clean. Not a date night type of place. Some places just to grab some healthy lunch.

They gave me the wrong protein. I got chicken in stead of steak. The food is fresh and good

I felt like when we went here we were at a friends house and she was cooking for us. There was literally one lady working in the entire restaurant. She took our order then got to work. The food was pricey and my sister and I with our 2 small kids the bill with drinks was $75. Times are tough and restaurants are feeling the crunch! So I believe their prices are the norm nowadays. All that being said; everything was fresh. The garlic sauce is on point as well as the fresh pita bread. The hummus is good and the chicken is well seasoned. The fries were dry and needed salt. The rice was not my fave but it did the job. Overall it's pretty good give it a try.

The hummus/eggplant was ok, I've had much better. Salad was boring. Yoghurt drink was the only interesting tasty thing. Combo plate was flavorless. Which is sad bc the meat and chicken were moist and cooked well but it was a pound of rice and skewers with very little to no salt or flavor and zero sauce or anything to fix it. we waited for our server to come back and do a check, or refill our empty waters or offer anything on the side. never saw her again. mid meal my friend got super nauseous and faint and had to step outside and we needed to box and pay the check immediately. She needed water and fresh air and no one was around for the water so she went to the car. I got up and walked around looking for anyone. I even went to the kitchen opening and yelled hello... no one.I went out to the patio and found Eugenia who I asked for help. She was super apologetic and helpful. Got us boxes, Got our check. Paid our check. Brought us change. Apologized. Still haven't seen our server yet. Never even gave us her name. we left and I should have given the tip to Eugenia but I was rushing to get my friend home who was sweating and looked like she might puke. If you're looking for the definitive Lebanese experience in the IE, this is the order to beat. The Breakdown: * The Trio Grill: You get a sampling of everything--chicken, beef, and kefta kebabs. The chicken kebab was the standout for me; it was incredibly tender and had that perfect open-flame char that you just can't replicate at home. * Baba Ghanoush: This was a smoky revelation. You can taste the fire-roasted eggplant in every bite, and the texture was perfectly whipped and creamy without losing its soul. It's easily some of the best in the area. * Tabouleh: So many places use too much bulgur, but Mezzaterranean does it right. It was a bright, herbaceous explosion of fresh parsley and lemon that cut through the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. * The Extras: It all comes together with their fluffy rice and warm pita. Pro tip: use the pita to make little "mini-tacos" with a piece of chicken, a dollop of baba ghannouj, and a pinch of tabouleh. The Verdict: The portions on the Trio Plate are massive (definitely enough to share, though you might not want to). Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentic. It's clear this family-run spot puts a lot of heart into their recipes. 10/10, will be back for more of that garlic sauce!

I was warmly greeted by a lovely lady who seemed to be both the manager and the waitress. The restaurant has a vintage style; it's set in an old building, giving it a vibe, but honestly, it looked a bit worn down and didn't seem that clean especially the restroom, which also didn't appear very sanitary. For food, I tried the sujuk appetizer: a spicy sausage with sautéed veggies. Unfortunately, it wasn't like what I've had before; something about the taste was off, and I didn't enjoy it. I also ordered the mixed grill plate, which came with three portions: chicken, ground beef, and steak. The steak was actually quite good, and I really enjoyed that, but the chicken didn't taste like a young, fresh chicken; it was like one of those big, hormone-fed birds. The rice was not fresh and it was a warm up from the day before. Overall, I didn't really like the food quality and didn't feel like it matched the price at all. On the plus side, the service was really nice; that lady was very kind and genuine. One odd thing was that there was nothing on the table; no salt, pepper, napkins, or sauces. you have to ask for everything. And since the railroad is so close, you occasionally hear a loud train passing by. All in all, despite the warm service, I probably won't be coming back.
