This restaurant needs lots of improvement…read more I should have left the minute I walked in I don't know why I didn't I guess I was hungry Between the screaming children and my hunger pains I stayed I had their teeny tiny little Buffet here's what it's got going for it it comes with a chai tea and it's really cheap only $8.99 There's literally nothing on their Buffet you get some very mildly spiced chickpeas there is some lightly Curry potatoes and you get halwa . It comes with onions thick yogurt that's sitting in the sun and your tea you also get bread with it The bread came out beautiful but absolutely so greasy I could not eat the whole thing As for service there is none and they ask you for a tip I didn't give a tip cuz that's stupid when I have to do everything myself the Ambiance it's old it's dated and it's gross looking is it a meal yeah I guess so All three items that were on the buffet that were supposed to be hot or barely room temperature the buffets look like they were broken apart not a great day would I come back ... no I would not come back very disappointed I would give this a three out of 10

Probably the best halal restaurant I went in Lower Mainland in my opinion. Their pizza is so good…read moreand tasty. Especially that the cheese is we sticky. But the only thing is that the pizza was quite greasy and the tables were kind of dirty. But I guess they probably had a rush since there was quite a lot of customers. So I give this reasturant a 4 star. But all of that, Great customer service. Great food. Good restaurant.

We ordered over the phone, and our meal was ready when we arrived. Now that's efficient service…read more Our order consisted of six pieces of fried chicken with french fries for $13. Unfortunately, the portion of fries was RIDICULOUSLY small. They must have given us something like ten fries, and they didn't even season them! I understand that a lot of people are worried about their sodium intake, but french fries need to be salted to taste even moderately edible! And when someone orders six pieces of chicken, they're obviously going to need more than a single serving of fries (just saying). Each piece of fried chicken was quite small, especially compared to chain restaurants like Church's Chicken or Kentucky Fried Chicken. I assume that this is because they use only halal meat in this restaurant (which I'm guessing is more expensive and more difficult to obtain than regular chicken). But to their credit, the restaurant's owners gave us eight pieces of chicken, which we appreciated as it helped make up for the small portions. Unfortunately, the chicken was also not salted and didn't even seem fried. It looked and tasted more like "boast chicken" which is the less oily and less greasy version of fried chicken. I can't speak for any other menu items at this restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend ordering their fried chicken. If you want to get a tastier fried chicken (and you're not afraid of going to Richmond) go to Red Rooster Fried Chicken instead. It's also a fried chicken restaurant, but resoundingly more delicious.

I recently tried this Indian restaurant in Surrey as was craving proper Indian food and this one…read moretotally satisfied my expectations. The ambience is super nice and cozy with warm neutral lights inside and nice seating. It's quite spacious and big as well. The service is pretty good too and if you go on Saturday night you would have to wait for approximately 15 minutes as well. We ordered sev puri in appetizers which was really great in taste. It had perfect spice, and the filling of potatoes, curd and sev with pomegranate was commendable. For main ordered garlic naan, tandoori roti with kadhai paneer as curry . All of them were really delicious. Kadhai paneer was perfect in spice and taste and its curry was totally going with the paneer. Absolutely loved the experience there and already feeling hungry to be back and order again. Highly recommended.

Our final meal during our day trip to British Columbia was at Spice 72 Indian Restaurant & Lounge,…read moreand it was the perfect end to the day. The restaurant was easy to find, located inside a plaza with plenty of free parking. Surprisingly, it was busy on a Saturday night at 9PM, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table for three. During the wait, my sister and I, both first-timers to Indian cuisine, struggled to narrow down our choices. My boyfriend stepped in and consulted with our friendly waiter, who helped us choose a great spread: Plain Rice to share, (2) orders of Naan Breads, (2) Mango Lassis, Goat and Lamb Vindaloo, Tandoori Chicken (8 pieces), and Chicken Tikka Masala. The food was fantastic, with both the temperature and spiciness turned up to the max! The Naan Bread was a standout, a must-try with any meal, and my personal favorite was the Tandoori Chicken. The restaurant has a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere, perfect for a casual yet intimate dining experience. However, the music was quite loud throughout, which added a lively energy to the space. We were seated near the fireplace and a TV showing a hockey game, which was a bit too warm for us, especially since our food was already piping hot! The service was exceptional. Our waiter was not only attentive but also entertaining, making our experience even more enjoyable. I'd absolutely recommend Spice 72 for anyone craving authentic Indian food. It was clear from the crowd that the restaurant is beloved by those in the know--everyone there, except us, appeared to be of Indian descent, which was a great sign of its authenticity.

The kebab platter was meant for 2 people but came in an actual takeout platter and feed 3 adults for more than 2 meals. The potato pakawras were lovely and my boyfriend's Dad really enjoyed them plus the yogurt and spicy green sauce that the platter comes included with.
