A bit different than the standard breakfast menu. I had the halipino omelette and my partner had the mushroom omelette. I'm sure it is made with three eggs as it was a lot. It came with thin chopped potatoes and toast. There was plenty for us. This is a small dinner and the tables are the 50's theme. Chairs were newer. Big wall scenes enhanced the place. The owner was extremely friendly and I believe his wife does the cooking. Service was great and there were about 6 tables on going when we left. All were served quickly. The food came hot. It didn't sit around under food warmers. The place opens at 830 which I thought for a breakfast place is a little late for opening.

I got the smoked salmon benedict ($20) and it was so delicious. There's something else other than hollandaise sauce in the benny that makes it next level. I also tried my boyfriend's waffle fries and they were so good. I could eat so many of those. His waffle chicken sandwich ($21) was perfect. Great waffle bun paired with fresh crispy juicy chicken. I will be coming back to devour everything there.

The fried chicken was actually two chicken strips , not really crispy or any crunch but not bad. Hollandaise sauce was flavoured and generous amount. The potatoes were the best part , cooked just right for slightly crisp and soft. Ordered a latte which was about a 3/5 , not amazing coffee I would stick to their milkshakes after seeing a few being made. Staff was friendly and checked in often , would be a 5 for the restaurant but 3 star rating on food alone. It was fairly busy but we got seats at the bar right away . Might be a longer wait for larger groups.

The diner has a…read morevery old school appearance, both outside and inside, and the décor definitely lives up to its name. Very "country". The food was really good - I had the Country Breakfast with sausages, over easy eggs, and crispy bacon. Everything was cooked to my liking and the quality of the ingredients was great. I swapped the standard toast and cubed potatoes for two pancakes and they were massive! I had to pack up most of my meal to take home. The coffee was really good, not bitter at all (which I find is often the case at some breakfast places). Service was excellent, as they were very well organized and kept our coffees and waters filled. The restaurant was packed by the time we left, so clearly they're very popular. Would definitely recommend this spot for brunch or casual meal.

Oh my gosh, we were out this way, without much breakfast had, so looking for brunch-ish? Ronny's was outstanding! We missed the lunch rush I think, more were leaving than coming in, but I'd say they do a good lunch, or people wouldn't be there. Did I mention they are out of the way a bit? Don't let that deter you, go there, and you'll be like us, will find a way to decide, we need to go to Maple Ridge! I love the interior with a splash of Italia, but decor is full of understanding what the purpose is. It's about feeding people in the traditional sense. You can eat in, take away ready, or take it home warm it up and feed your family. How refreshing it is for us that love the old world mindset. K's Chef's Special with fries was so good. The fries remained hot until the last one was devoured, how do they do that? She ate half the sandwich and had to box the other half. My borscht side with my Turkey BL sandwich was so good I also brought a half sandwich home. I could have finished it, but we would have had to stop for a nap prior to getting all the way home. This might surprise those that have read this far, but we are going back for sure, and you should find a reason to do the same.

From the hostess to the server to the runner, not one of our interactions was great. No one was friendly or even smiled. We thanked them so many times and they were nonchalant. I don't even think we were needy. They were just not friendly at all. Food was delicious! I can't say that enough. From the pancakes, waffles, taters, and omelettes, the food was stellar. I got the Greek Frittata Omelette (Spinach, Feta, Sautéed Onions, Mushrooms, Topped with Freshly Diced Tomatoes & In-House Garlic Olive Tapenade. Served Open Faced with Toast & Pan Fries) and it was MASSIVE. The flavor is on point with fresh veg and amazing flavors. The tapenade is such a unique and nice salty touch.
