Probably the best halal restaurant I went in Lower Mainland in my opinion. Their pizza is so good and tasty. Especially that the cheese is we sticky. But the only thing is that the pizza was quite greasy and the tables were kind of dirty. But I guess they probably had a rush since there was quite a lot of customers. We ordered over the phone, and our meal was ready when we arrived. Now that's efficient service. Our order consisted of six pieces of fried chicken with french fries for $13. Unfortunately, the portion of fries was RIDICULOUSLY small. They must have given us something like ten fries, and they didn't even season them! I understand that a lot of people are worried about their sodium intake, but french fries need to be salted to taste even moderately edible! And when someone orders six pieces of chicken, they're obviously going to need more than a single serving of fries (just saying). Each piece of fried chicken was quite small, especially compared to chain restaurants like Church's Chicken or Kentucky Fried Chicken. I assume that this is because they use only halal meat in this restaurant (which I'm guessing is more expensive and more difficult to obtain than regular chicken). But to their credit, the restaurant's owners gave us eight pieces of chicken, which we appreciated as it helped make up for the small portions. Unfortunately, the chicken was also not salted and didn't even seem fried. It looked and tasted more like "boast chicken" which is the less oily and less greasy version of fried chicken. I can't speak for any other menu items at this restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend ordering their fried chicken. If you want to get a tastier fried chicken (and you're not afraid of going to Richmond) go to Red Rooster Fried Chicken instead. expecting good service at a pakistani restaurant is unheard of. Drove all the way from downtown to surrey expecting some good food. It took them 20mins to take our order. Waited extra 30 mins for food to arrive, I'm still confused was the food we ordered cooked in oil or was it the other way round, also food was substantially cold, seemed like they just microwave it. If you are looking good authentic south Asian food, Pakistani style then this is the place. From desi burger to nihari to broast. This is the place and the best part it is one of the few halal places in Surrey, which are open until 11pm. read more

Visited after more than a year on my Canada trip. 1st shock was that the management has changed recently. Was worried as I used to love the place. Turns out the Nehari and Kabobs are still awesome. But the karahi gosht was not as good. A lot of cardamom. read more

The best Pakistani restaurant I have been to outside of Pakistan hands down. The Lahori Chargha was our favorite. The patrons were amazing and accommodated all our requests and even gave us free dessert after our third visit. read more

I'm forced to give this place a single star, as I was unable to determine whether the fare and service were "good" or not: we were never served. I've never experienced being COMPLETELY ignored, before. However, my girlfriend and I stayed at our table (in a restaurant that was far from busy) for 5 minutes workout acknowledgement, then we left. This place should be named Nehari house. I am from LA and I ate Nehari at a lot of good restaurants but this one was extremely delicious. My kids ordered burgers and they loved them. Specially double beaf was a half pounder at the least. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was very good. Surprised about service this being Pakistani Resturant. read more

We were touring Vancouver and needed to stop by a halal join for food. This place was great. Decently varied menu and the prices were reasonable with good service. The Lahori Charga is the best, def try it here. Since the owner found out we were from the US stopping by he gave us free kulfi bars. Great place to eat read more

Nice, quiet and welcoming hosts. We ordered the chicken handi, goat karahi, nihari and beef seekh kebab. The first thing you notice are the generous portions. The chicken handi and goat karahi were amazing. Nice mix of spices gave a complex taste that can sometimes be missed in overly spicy dishes. The nihari was good but not exceptional. The beef karaoke was a left a bit to be desired. Loved the Naan and chai. If you are in Surrey do give them a try. read more

Worst food in Surrey ,,,,We ordered beef nihari, chicken biryani Chana and some naan, only the naan was freshly made , Chana and beef were stale and tasted so bad plus the beef only had fat in the bowl , chicken biryani tasted bad too ,, when we complaint to the waiters she wanted to replace Chana with something else, then later the owner comes n starts to argue with us n said we can leave his restaurant, but we paid the full price .
