After finally making the time, I gave them a second try. Longview is a small town and places like Lil Thai House are what make it so much better. The owners are a sweet couple that make some delicious Thai food. It's all cooked fresh to order, which makes it not the place to go if you're in a pinch for time. I also recommend getting here closer to 11 if you want to get seats in the restaurant. I think there are about 10 tables available that fill up quick. My partner and I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry and Pork Egg Rolls. Starting with the egg rolls - they were very fresh and hot. The glass noodles inside were delicious and overall they were super meaty. The pad Thai and curry were tasty. Both had great levels of spice that weren't overbearing and added to the flavor profile. Pricing was not bad for what you get. Definitely the better Thai restaurant in Longview if you can make the hours work.

It was missing some of the pickled veggies that you would expect to complement the sandwich. They also didn't use the legit type of deli meat in the combo. The cost per dish was a bit surprisingly high for Shreveport and even for Houston. It's one of the few Vietnamese spots but the bang for the buck proposition was lower than expected.

The younger guy who was at the cash register with the iPod in his ear also had a big bowl of pho. I just don't underhand if you on duty why have the kid in your ear first of all then have you lunch right in front of customers? And wonder why customer's orders are always wrong. The selection is minimal and many products have pork in them which I do not eat. So I had to just go with the brisket and steak pho which I was hoping I would see fatty brisket as an option. But there was no option for it. The pho was not flavorful at all and I didn't even have the side of Sriracha that usually comes with the pho to go. When I'm back in town I will have to find another pho place to visit as this one missed the mark for me.
