My family recently used this fabulous company to move our mom into an assisted living facility in Burbank. They killed it. PERFECT! Then I had them move some additional items from Panorama City to Woodland Hills. Again ---- perfection. Nicest crew... so professional. I will use them forever! A++++ rating. And I'm picky as heck! read more

Not sure why the rave reviews. The price was pretty steep but I figured it was worth the extra $ to get a five star service. The TWO men they sent out were pretty efficient but with some gripes, one, they were LATE. I mean 45 minutes late. Luckily they ended up getting packed before my estimate. Two, there is a large bookshelf in my home. I built it inside a room, and wouldnt fit back out the door. I told them again and again please just loosen the top screws and the entire thing will bend easily in a parallelogram shape (Which other movers have had NO PROBLEM WITH). So the time comes for them to unload it to the new place, and they just cannot get it. They spent 20-30 minutes trying to figure it out, even after I told them OVER and OVER how to do it. They took off the ENTIRE TOP of the shelf!!! And spent so much time putting it back on... Wasted time. One of them scraped the chair on the floor and left a scuff mark on the bamboo floor where I moved into. All in all it was ok. But for the money it was not great, and they should have sent three people for security, knowing they would have to unload in an apartment in the heart of LA, where things are easily stolen. Many times BOTH movers were in an elevator with the truck wide open. I am glad I was keen enough to stand on the balcony to watch the truck. Not sure why its 5 stars, I will return to All-in movers next time, who were always on time, and much cheaper. (I paid 395 BEFORE TIP for a 1br apartment move. Ive never paid this much before, last time I went through 1br plus storage was 275, into my 3br house was 320...) read more

First class service. Kevin and Peter run an impeccable company. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. They have a great team of movers. I would use them again and again and recommend them to everyone. They do not disappoint. Thank you guys for running a top notch business where mediocrity and substandard is the norm in most places. read more

After a year and a half, I moved and called Z Movers up again. They were great my first move from WeHo to Burbank, so I was sure I wanted them to help my move this time around. They even gave me a loyalty discount for using them a second time! I highly recommend them to everyone - they're quick, professional, always on time, protect all furniture and items. Very nice and they get back to you very quickly with a competitive quote. Very happy with my move with them! Original Review: I found Z Movers on Yelp and called them (as well as two other moving companies) for a quote to compare the prices. Competitive price, and they answered my call immediately. They were very nice and explained how the whole moving process works over the phone. They were available the day and time I wanted, and showed up at my door the exact minute they said! I only had to move my one bedroom's furniture, but they disassembled everything and loaded the truck in only one hour! So quick and efficient! They were very helpful and careful with all my stuff and even helped move some of the previous owner's furniture to make the whole moving process seamless. Highly recommend! read more

Our friend recommended Z Movers to us and we are extremely glad we hired them. They were on time, friendly and professional, and efficient. Their rates may seem a little higher than other moving companies but they don't have all these extra hidden fees like some other movers do. They are upfront about their fees and even check in half way through the move to let you know where you're at cost-wise. Regardless, they are worth the price. We moved out of two different LA apartments to Orange County, which was a pain since we had SO MUCH STUFF, but they had a great attitude and sense of humor throughout the whole move. I am only about 40% done opening all of our boxes but so far nothing has been broken or damaged (including our furniture, walls, and flooring) since they did such a good job handling and wrapping our stuff. I don't write yelp reviews often, but these guys definitely deserved my time. Thanks so much Z Movers! read more

Zmovers was absolutely fantastic! They were timely, professional and diligent:, We will definitely be using them in the future:) Thanks again to a great team! read more

TLDR Version: Use these folks to get your move executed in a timely and efficient manner for an extremely competitive price. They are excellent at managing expectations. Kevin and Peter are amazing and experienced crew members who will get you in and out in no time flat. I was looking for a company that could get me out of my storage unit and into the home I purchased and had just finished renovating; time was of the essence as my current living arrangements were up. It was a Thursday, and I needed a moving company to assist me with transporting my belongings a few miles down the road that weekend. I contacted a company through Yelp (who shall remain nameless as they didn't even respond to my inquiry...), and typically as Yelp does, it offers to send the message to additional companies. Z Movers happened to be one on the list whom I sent a CC to. Let me tell you, it should have been the first [and only] one I contacted. Within an hour of my request, Z Movers sent me a quote for services, as well as their current availability for the weekend time slots. Other companies who responded did so half-heartedly, being non-committal on price, time, or even both. I mean, honestly how hard is it to say "Sorry, we won't be able to help you in the time frame you requested" Z Movers came across to me as a straight-shooting company that would give me that response if they truly couldn't help. Thankfully they could actually lend a hand! I accepted Z Movers' offer the next day (Friday), but by that time, only one slot for the weekend remained available: Saturday afternoon. I happily booked it and awaited further contact - they responded that I would receive a call by 11:30 Saturday to confirm the final time. As they stated, they called me Saturday morning to inform me that the team of Kevin and Peter would arrive at my unit by 1:45 pm. By 1:15, Peter called me personally and apologized that they wouldn't arrive until approximately 2:30; he didn't want me to be waiting at the storage unit wondering where they were. At 2:25, they rolled up with their big blue truck, I signed some paperwork, and BOOM! Kevin and Peter were off, firing like a well-oiled machine. They must seriously be Tetris and Jenga masters, as it took them mere minutes to sort, plan, and securely stack items that my family and friends spent hours on with my initial move to the unit. All said and done, the full move was complete in just under 2 hours, even as a last-minute job booking, and I couldn't be happier. I'd definitely use Z Movers again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to all family and friends. read more

Professional and EXCELLENT attention to detail, smooth communication. Excellent service- I will be back for my next move! :) Masks were worn always- fully respected distancing which is KEY in a healthcare move! The price is much less than expected from this perfect move during the pandemic! Additionally, it allowed me to work in my car on data while they moved my things quickly. Really great attitudes and very helpful! Thank you! read more

They were very professional and really fast with the move. All of our furniture arrived in perfect condition with no damages! read more

Just moved with these guys help. They have a process and efficient operation. More importantly, each piece of furniture was wrapped with care even my Japanese husband was impressed! On the side note, their communication prior was great as well. Can't ask for more. Thank you guys. read more

Used Z movers, small discount for cash payment. There's always more stuff then you think and they were there and helped get everything ready and moved into the new apartment. Even helped me move an old mattress to the dumpster. Nice guys and did all the necessary paper work before hand to ensure a smooth move. Would definitely use again. read more

This company and their movers were terrific. I had a peculiar moving job that needed doing. Interacted with company online, made the proper arrangements and waited. 2 guys arrived exactly on time and moved the the large, heavy and bulky item quickly and cleanly. Highly, highly recommend!!! read more

After doing my research and calling several companies for a quote I decided to go with Z movers. When I called the gentleman on the phone was kind and knowledgeable and the price he quoted me was great. I was told to expect the 3 movers between 9 and 9:30 and they arrived right at 9:15am. We couldn't have asked for better help! They were quick but careful and so nice. I bought them some lunch for when they went on break and they were really grateful. All in all they spent 7 hours moving us into our new home and helped reassemble all the furniture that needed to be. They were upfront about all costs and explained every single cost and discount at the end of the day. I really hope I don't have to move anytime soon but if I do I will absolutely book with Z Movers again. Don't even bother looking anywhere else, their service was excellent and the most affordable as well! read more

Great experience today with Z Movers, moving out of a 1 bedroom into a storage unit! They were very professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I will use them again and I highly recommend. read more

These guys are the absolute BEST. Kevin was so easy and kind on the phone. I had only two weeks to move and he assured me they could get it done efficiently and with care. Well, they did. The workers were friendly and careful with my stuff. They had several stairs to go up and down and never once did they complain. The job was done under the time that was allotted and their prices are extremely reasonable. Look no further! Amazing work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

So, there are not enough stars to express our gratitude for our recent move. Lalo and crew moved us a mere 5 miles from one point to another - however, let it not be lost that they moved us to a more complex home (think multiple floors, and stairs... all the stairs!). All was well and moving along nicely until it came time to get one piece of furniture in that would not fit in the stairwell. Instead of trying to force it or worse off, stretch the truth - Lalo and team were forthcoming, told us what we needed to potentially make it happen, or give us the choice of what to do if we didn't go that route. Well, we chose to try based upon how upfront he was with us, and low and behold, the crew's leader showed up to help. When I say that they were not only creative with their approach - they were thoughtful, careful and basically got that piece of furniture in here unharmed. In fact, nothing was broken, lost or compromised in this move, at all. If you are looking for a great company, with honest and trustworthy teams and support - look no further. Choose Z Movers! read more

Even though we used the company 2 months ago...it felt right to share our thoughts. I chose them and set up the appointment and my husband was with them the moving day. It proved that I made a good choice, Kevin and Peter made everything seem simple, they were very professional, friendly and courteous. My husband was impressed with the way they worked, fast and efficient. Everything went smooth and for sure they will be our first choice in the future. We highly recommend Zmovers! Thank you guys! read more

I've had 2 moves with Z movers. They've done a great job each time. The guys were prompt, efficient, careful, honest and pleasant. They work by the hour and include moving supplies. There are no hidden or ridiculous fees. They label each box on the side. They carefully wrap/unwrap furniture and disassemble/reassemble as needed. I will be moving again soon and will use them again. read more

These guys helped me move my 2-bedroom, with some VERY heavy furniture (sorry guys!) and they did it quickly, took good care of my stuff, and everything was totally smooth. One of my easiest moves ever. Thank you Z Movers!!! read more

I had such a great experience with Z Movers with my previous move that I booked them again for my recent move within Los Angeles. The owner Peter and his team are the most professional and experienced team! And they work fast! Not like other moving companies that work obviously slow to charge extra hours. Z movers prices are super fair. read more

The best!!! Three guys showed up on time and moved all of my belongings from my two-bedroom/one bath house 30 miles away. The entire move only took 3.5 hours! The guys even hung around and helped us put little felt pads on the legs of all the furniture so it wouldn't scratch the hardwood floors in our new place. I gave them a big tip when they left...and they definitely deserved it! Will certainly use them again! read more

My experience with ZMovers has been 5 Stars all the way. As a professional organizer I have worked with them on several different projects and feel very confident recommending them to any of my clients, friends and family. They are super professional, punctual, friendly and they are a well coordinated team, very efficient! And on top of it they are very reasonably priced. On one particular move my client had a very hard time find a moving company with the appropriate insurance for their office building. Kevin from ZMovers patiently helped me overcome any obstacles by phone and I was able to hire ZMovers to move office furniture and boxes from Downtown LA to Santa Monica in a jiffy. Working with Peter, has been a real pleasure. He sovereignly handles the trickiest moves and is an awesome team leader. Thanks ZMovers! read more

So, I wanted to update my review, as I just had Peter and Kevin move me again. And I will likely have them move me again in a year. Look, I'm not a fugitive or anything, but the life of a single woman lets me move around as much as I want. I just have a little case of wanderlust. This time my wanderlust is leading me out of the country so I needed to put my stuff in storage. I may have been a little "frugal" in choosing my storage unit size, but they crammed every last piece of my stuff into the unit with room to spare. And for all the single ladies (insert Beyoncé song here) - Kevin and Peter are not only sweet, funny, strong, careful with your stuff, and efficient, but I felt super safe. There is zero creep factor with these handsome chaps (am I being creepy now? Look, a handsome man is a handsome man. Add it to the plus side of these guys). Anyway, I feel like sometimes women have to look out for other women. Let's be honest, if we had loads of strapping lads waiting at the ready to move us we wouldn't have to hire movers. Fortunately, these guys are as good as they come. So, when I come back in May, I hope Peter and Kevin have an empty slot to haul all of my crap out of my storage unit and into my next nomadic dwelling. read more

I'm a repeat customer and would hire Z Movers again! Our 3 movers- Carlos, Gio and Jordan worked very fast and took great care to wrap the furniture and other belongings. They took apart a couple of beds and put them back together perfectly. Moving is stressful but working with 3 friendly, hard working guys made the day a little easier. Also, all charges are clearly explained at the initial scheduling (thanks Katherine!), and at the site before any loading begins. read more

I was hoping to have found a good company when I hired Z Movers to pack and move my things to storage. Gladly I was not wrong, in fact I was deeply impressed! This clean, sleek, no nonsense operation is absolutely everything a moving company should be! They were on time, hard working, strong, capable and fair! I would definitely use them for all my moves and have faith I would get the same excellent service! read more

If you are looking for AMAZING movers these are the guys!!! I was given such great service. They worked around my hours and took extra care with some items that I was very particular about moving. The guys worked quickly and were very friendly (not to mention easy on the eyes.) All items moved were boxed /bubble wrapped or had blankets on them. Nothing was damaged or scratched. I've moved so many times over the years and there are plenty of shady companies that quote one price and at the end charge you for a ton of little things. Z Movers gave me a good quote and was straight up about the price. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to move in LA. read more

I recently hired Z Movers to help me move my things to a storage unit, while I looked for a new place. They arrived very promptly and on time. For some reason my iPhone alarm did not go off and they even waited patiently for me! They moved everything very quickly and safely, making sure to wrap up all of my items with the proper protection needed. They had a huge moving truck to put all of my stuff in and drove to the storage location. Z Movers really put in the extra effort to make sure that the customer was satisfied. Also, very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Z Movers to anyone needing moving services, and will definitely hire them again the next time I have to move. Thank you Z Movers! read more

We had such a great experience with Gabriel and his crew; Jose, John, Anthony and Lionel. They were on time to our storage place and got right to work. My impression right off the bat was that this crew was going to be a lot of fun because they were so warm and friendly and immediately gained rapport with my husband and I. The crew worked fast and efficiently. They covered all my furniture with plastic and/or blankets to ensure safe transport. John was in charge of packing the truck and we were impressed with how much stuff he got in one truck! Once they got to our house we were amazed how fast and hard they worked. We never saw them take a break the whole time. We couldn't believe how quickly they were done, which was nice since they charge by the hour. Afterwards we didn't notice any scrapes on our freshly painted walls, so that was evident they were careful while taking our items in. We would hire this team again in a heartbeat, and honestly, we liked them so much at the end of the day that we'd have them over for a bbq if they would come!!! Z Movers also gave us a very competitive price which was great! We highly recommend! read more

We've moved with Z Movers twice now and have been super happy with them both times. The first rain was in the hardest nonstop rain I've ever experienced in Los Angeles. I cannot emphasize enough how much rain there was.. But! The Z Movers team was nothing but fast and pleasant the whole time despite the truly abysmal weather. Anyways, if you're looking for movers that are fast, efficient, and communicative go with Z Movers. Sal, Gabriel, Gary, & Nick are all great - definitely try to get one of them on your moving team. read more

Z Movers was recommended to me by a co-worker. I reached out to Peter, who was very responsive, sending me the moving information and require packets ahead of time and working with me to find a good date and time. The team showed up within the assigned start window and were very friendly. I have used a couple of movers over the years and Z movers is very professional. They come prepared with their own supplies and get started right away. When we moved to my new location, all the items were in good condition and the team moved all the items upstairs with no elevator very quickly. Moving my one bedroom apartment approximately 15 miles only took about 4 hours, much of which was getting things upstairs! Very great experience. Would recommend and would use again. read more

Look no more! Z Movers were so good it motivated me to write my first review after years on Yelp, and I will be recommending them to all my friends. From beginning to end, the entire experience was superior to other movers I've used in the past. 1. Choosing them: They caught my eye on Yelp, because unlike other moving companies I've used in LA, it was obvious from reading their reviews that they don't "bribe" (i.e. give discounts for 5 stars) or "guilt-trip" (i.e. your movers will not receive a bonus if you don't give 5 stars) customers to write positive reviews 2. Price: Their price was the lowest I found after days of research, and unlike others included packaging and wrapping, so there were no surprises at the end 3. Quote and Scheduling: Understanding the costs and finding a time for the move was quick, and communication was clear and easy 4. The move: They were on time, moved at a good speed and were extremely careful. 5. Quality: There was not a single scratch on my furniture, walls or hardwood floor and this was no coincidence. They were noticeably meticulous and even corrected me when I thoughtlessly asked them to slide an appliance into place on the hardwood floor. 6. The People: Both movers were extremely friendly, thoughtful, easy to work with and great communicators. It is clear they are part of a promising small business that takes pride in what they do. read more

This company is great!! Our two movers and their truck showed up on time, came with all of the necessary moving materials, and got straight to work! And they worked hard! I've moved professional movers to help me move two times before with less than stellar experiences. One of the moving companies was not honest about their pricing and packing over the phone and gave me a cheap rate over the phone only to be overcharged after the movers arrived. The other company flat out lost and or stole a box of clothes with professional suits and jackets that I didn't find out until several weeks later and my claim went nowhere. Needless to say my guard was up before using z movers. I was a little worried about how the move would go and if they would do a good job. The movers were both super friendly, made me feel comfortable and were careful with moving my stuff. I couldn't have been more happy. Moving from irvine to Glendale went off without a hitch and I would definitely use them again! read more

Wow is all I can say. Fernando and Sergio were amazing, fast, and professional. They came on time and helped me with everything with the friendly attitude. They're a licensed contracted insured movers, the best in the business. I've used them recently after such a great experience four years ago. I recommend them to all my friends. Nothing damaged, professional installation and opening up tables and couches, and no extra hidden charges or fees. Unlike other companies I found, there's no hidden fees for any moving parts.
