Great food and great service. Needed several pizza for our youth group right at closing time and they were happy to help

Tried this for the first time and really enjoyed it! I had ham and cheese calzone and a Nutella croffle. Delicious! It was very clean. Owner was very kind and worked quickly. She was literally running around to serve everyone. read more

Yummy Pizza - Ham and cheese calzone. I forgot to photograph my croffle - it was so good that I ate it too quickly. - Pizza Near Me - Granger, Indiana

Quite the "yummy" NYC pizza experience in the middle of Granger, Indiana. We called to order for pick -up and the pizza took about 30 mins or so to be ready for pick up. The pizza slices were HUGE in comparison to the pizza slices I'm used to. So I pretty much had 2 slices and was full. The crust itself was nice and thin as expected for the NYC style pizza they are known for. We ordered 2 pizzas. The first pizza was a sausage, onion, and pepper. The second pizza was the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza. I did not have the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza since I like the traditional pizzas better, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it much better than the classic sausage, onion, and pepper pizza. read more

The husband and mother-in-law split a Deluxe Pizza and Deluxe Calzone, and I got a pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza (jalapeños on the side so no one who accidentally took a bite of mine would die). Great crust, which is the basis for any good pizza! The sauce is good, not too sweet, not soupy, didn't taste canned. The pizzas came out of the oven with the perfect golden color and that wonderful crispy sound when she ran the pizza cutter through it. From where we sat, we could see them behind the counter working with the dough in proofing tubs, kneading dough on the counter, and tossing the pizza dough, everything you see when Food Network visits an excellent little pizza joint. I had the pomegranate lemonade to drink, it was absolutely delicious and I wish I'd bought a gallon of it. Service was excellent, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. We couldn't have enjoyed our experience more! read more

I'm from NY and this Pizza is legit . No frills, just a good thin sliced pie everything tastes right. Grateful

Sausage pizza just had a sprinkling of sausage. What you would expect for amount on one slice. Crust was very soft. I was there several years ago and it was ok. Something happened that made it go downhill. Will not go back. read more

Very good pizza with great service. Very nice seating area. Clean facility. I'll be back.

This was our first time trying Yummy Pizza. We were presently surprise how delicious the pizza was. We are traveling from AZ and I looked on Yelp for a New York Pizzeria. I found Yummy Pizza so we thought we would give it a try. The crust was certainly New York Style. I must commend the owner for an impressive and flavorful pizza. She was very cordial and sweet. She has own this pizza parlor for 19 years! If you like NY pizza and live or are visiting the Granger/South Bend/Mishawaka area, you have to give this place a try! read more

Fabulous pizza! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Pizza was ready quickly and it was the best we have had in n a while. We will definitely be getting this yummy pizza again soon in the very near future! read more

We recently tried Yummy Pizza after driving by it for the past few years. I was AWESOME. Some of the best pizza in the area. The pizza is NY style with a semi thin crust, simple but excellent sauce and really good cheese. Their homemade breadsticks are great as well. They are about 12" long and come with either garlic butter or marinara sauce for dipping. The actual restaurant itself, isn't anything special. There are about 20 or so small tables and a few arcade games for kids. All in all I would highly recommend Yummy Pizza to friends! read more

Great pizza! NY style as others have noted. Good sauce and authentic pizza oven crust. Fast and very nice staff. read more

This is a solid pizza place. I go through periods when I get pizza here every week or so, so I've tried it often. While it is NY style, it bears saying that (for better or worse), the pizza is not as greasy. They must use a lowfat mozzarella here, because there's no occasion to sop up fats from the top. I actually would prefer the greasier style, but this place is, all the same, a great addition to the area. Also, while I normally carry out, it's important to note that dining is great with kids and whoever else likes electronic skill and video games, a pool table, etc. This is a GREAT place to go where adults can sit around and chat and have worthy food while the kids can go off and have fun without getting out of sight. read more

Great pizza place. Friendly staff. Pizza is yummy, hence the name. Breadsticks are amazing. Apple salad is super. Nice place.

This place has been in Granger for at least ten years, and has pretty good pizza. I always get carryout but they have a pool table and arcade games. Nice, clean place. read more

Great NY style pizza. Thin-ish crust, light sweet sauce, good cheese. Pitcher of Killians is very reasonable ( under 6 bucks ). This remind me of Boston's North End Pizza Bakery in Honolulu...if you are fortunate enough to have experienced that pizza joint... read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. We ordered breadsticks and a pizza with bacon and meatballs. The breadsticks were long and thin and came with a side of garlic butter. Delicious! They were so hot and fresh out of the oven that we burned our fingers a bit on the first one. Although they may not look like exceptionally hearty breadsticks, I started to fill up after the first one. The pizza arrived shortly thereafter and was cooked to a medium degree of doneness - cheese was thoroughly melted without any crispy bits and the crust was golden brown. The sauce was neither too sweet nor too tomato-y, which is a plus for me. The crust wasn't quite New York thin, but it was a thinner crust. There were generous amounts of bacon and "meatballs" on the pizza. I say "meatballs" because they were more like little dabs of meat instead of small meatballs, but I believe that actual meatballs would've been a bit too much. They do not appear to offer alternatives to tomato sauces, which is the only reason I gave them a 4-star rating. I prefer a white or an oil-based sauce on thin crust pizzas. In fairness, I don't usually love tomato-based sauces and tend to avoid pizza altogether unless there is a non-tomato sauce option, but this one was good enough that I'd eat it again, tomato sauce and all! The service was attentive without being intrusive and the two staff members were friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for some thin-crust pizza! read more

Very friendly staff, unfortunately the pizza is below average, would be better off going with a mid grade frozen pizza.

Pizza is pretty good. Good atmosphere inside the place. Has games and pool table to keep the kids busy. My only complaint is that the pizza is a little on the expensive side. read more

I thought the name was weird until I saw the Asian woman behind the counter. However, the pizza was really good thin crust. The dining room was clean and large. There were also several old school arcade games, a pool table and air hockey. I will definitely be going back. read more

Not bad pizza, not our fav style. Great atmosphere for families!! Prices are pretty reasonable as well. Service has been good as well.

Pizza was very greasy, we were not impressed. We thought Pizza Hut and dominos were better. It's not worth the extra money

Great tasting pizza. The breadsticks are like mini baseball bats and i love to dip them in garlic butter. They stuff the bread sticks with pepperoni on request. read more

Pizza is AMAZING!!! 5 stars!!! The price on the other hand is a little bit high, 20 bucks for a 16 two topping new york style pizza is a couple bucks more than I think it should be. But the staff are extremely friendly and professional. They call you by name and refill your drinks promptly. Quiet atmosphere, nice and bright, very homey. Billiards is a big plus. So all in all I would say the TOTAL experience is worth 20 bucks, just not the pizza alone. read more

One of our favorite pizza places. Small operation, but great food and always friendly.

Love Yummy Pizza! I have been going there since it opened many years back. The owner even recognizes how much I've grown. It's definitely a New York style pizza. So, if you don't like greasy thin crust pizza go somewhere plain like Pizza Hut or Domino's! read more

Stopped in while visiting from out of town and looking for some good local pizza. Was not disappointed. Great handmade New York style pizza. Friendly service. Great specials. We ate inside the restaurant and it was comfortable and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for some thinner crust pizza with tasty sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Decorations and seating is a little Spartan but that wasn't an issue for us at all. read more

Eh. I mean it's fine. I can certainly take it or leave it. The man working there (I assume the owner) was very nice and very cool. So I hope great things for his business. But as far as pizza goes, I have had better pizza lots of places (although nothing much better in the michiana area.) read more
