What can I say? All of the Barnaby's are great , but my favorite is the Grape road location

Pizza too expensive not enough red sauce. Pizzas were very dry any chewy. They even charged extra for the box I have had barabys pizza over the years this was the worse ever. Not like they used to be I understand that the downtown south bend store is still good though. this is our time second time here as a big group of family . Was told by the busser maybe , idk he does the bar also, to not put our dirty plates on the other tables bc they were clean, and that the front girl would come and get them. Had a deep dish stuffed pizza - it had a crunchy, buttery crust, the sauce was that right mix between a little acidic, a little sweet, a little herby, and the stuffed toppings (sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers) were excellent. what a bizarre experience. A friend of mine who didn't know better picked this location which oddly happens to be connected to a gas station. the restaurant was virtually empty and took over an hour for our pizzas to be cooked. we contemplated getting up and leaving, but had to prepay for the pizzas. The employees were hard to track down for drinks or to change the TV channels away from dodge ball to the college football playoff game. Barnabys is my favorite pizza in the area but will never return to this locatjon. I will say after the lengthy wait, the pizza was still good but not waiting over an hour in an almost empty restaurant again. read more

We have gone to Barnaby's on Grape Road for almost 46 yrs. We decided to try the Cleveland Rd location as it's just a little closer to home. Major disappointment. We were there 7-6-25 at 2:30 & had the worse pizza we've ever had from Barnabys! The crust resembled commercial store bought crust & was so burnt, it was crunchy. Edges were black! There was no tomato sauce so that added to it being hard & dry. We've tried this location 3 times & it just keeps getting worse. We love the Grape Rd location so will go back there for sure. Hopefully the owner will get on top of this before his business gets hurt by it. It may be catching up already because once again we were the only customers there! We mistakenly ordered from this location thinking we were ordering from the one on Grape Road, but honestly, it was everything I needed: it was ready quickly and the hostess was attentive. We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni and sausage pizza and both were devoured by my family. The pizza is always good but I got a salad for dinner and it was yellow, brown and inedible!!! It was the inside of the head of iceberg lettuce. I don't eat meat and ordered the pizzas with meat for everyone else. The salad and an order of fries for me. The fries weren't even done, in fact they are in my oven right now to finish them off. My wife and I were visiting Mishawaka and hungry for pizza. People recommended Barnabys. We put a to go order in and arrived. My wife went in to pick up the order and was really ticked off when she got to the van. Ordered 3, 14" pizzas and garlic cheese bread. Total came to $99.94. She got charged $.50/take out box which came to $2 plus tax, because we got it to go. Ridiculous. Then, the person taking order failed to tell my wife that we could've got double the garlic cheese bread for $1 more. Not worth the money for such a half order of garlic cheese bread. The pizzas were small and thin and the crusts were burnt on a couple of them. Little Cesars pizza is a considerably better value than this joint. The pizza wasn't bad but reminded me of something from Pizza Hut. Garlic cheese bread wasn't hot. Just a crappy experience overall. I would never, ever recommend these jokers, to anyone. Service was terrible, pricing double what it should be for what you get. Located in a gas station complex. So weird and undesirable overall. Do better. People, go somewhere else, this lousy rating that they have overall is definitely indicative of what you can expect. Wish we had looked at the ratings first. Never again!! read more

Good pizza but ordering by phone is very frustrating. Can't tell you how much I've grown to hate hearing, "Please hold" when they answer the phone. Then I wait and finally give up. It usually takes several calls before I finally get someone that answers and takes my order. Also don't believe the quoted times. I was told 45 minutes. I arrived at 20 minutes and it was ready. Ate here for dinner last night with a party of 10. Ordered 3 pizzas, breadsticks and salads. All was great!

Meatball sub was great, as well as the CBR PIZZA! Was fire and I heard they've got a brand new oven!

Positives: Plenty of parking and seating. Pizza arrived hot and fresh. Negatives: We arrived a few minutes after they opened and it took 1 1/2 hours for the pizza to arrive. There was one lady who was the hostess/waitress/ phone order taker/ and barmaid all in one. The salad bar was in a dark corner and I had to use my phones flashlight to see the items. Neutral: The cheesebread was pretty good, and the pizza was pretty "average". We'd been to the other Barnabys before so we knew what to expect from the food. Overall, maybe we arrived on a bad day but they need more help in the front of the restaurant. read more

Our pizza was excellent as usual. My husband thinks that Barnaby's has the best sausage in the area. Greg checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. In fact, he was working the whole room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Great pizza + great service = 5 stars! read more

Extremely unhelpful/ incompetent staff. And of all the Barnaby's I've been to, this one is by far the worst. It makes no sense. You can't order drinks when you order the pizza. Have to do it separately (but there is no signage anywhere to indicate how any ordering is done at all, and it's different from any other Barnaby's anywhere, so first-timers, good luck!). And you go to the bar-a completely separate room from the restaurant AND nowhere near where you order the food... and of 5 drinks ordered, the lady got 2 of them wrong. Oh- it says nowhere anything about where to pick up the pizza when it's ready, and the silverware is in a completely different space (across the room) from where the napkins and condiments are. Completely disorganized. Absolutely no reason to go back. read more

I've been to the Granger Barnaby's location several times for both carry out & dine in & I will definitely return. The food was great (same as their Grape Rd location) & the staff pleasant! I also love the family friendly atmosphere, the beautiful dining area & the restrooms are very clean! I would definitely recommend Granger Barnaby's to everyone! read more

Well, let's talk about the pizza and garlic bread w/cheese. Pizza was classic Barnaby's and very good. Garlic bread was definitely garlic bread which was amazing and the amount of cheese was awesome. However, the hang around staff had me tripping. It seemed like a family unit that does not know when they should leave and moved into a table. Where it looked like they brought groceries for the long haul. Then, what made it worse was one of them was trying to run the front desk and must not be able to read because she kept bring up the wrong order or did not know what was going on. The only two shinning stars were the cook from the back that actually asked how everything was and the girl in the yellow beast hoody that was basically doing it rest (praises to her!). I think the owner should be worried about this. Especially, if I hear you are closing the Mishawaka location. I recommend just using this place for takeout. read more
