My family and I went for dinner here at Town Hall. Their selections and menu options varied from build your own pizza, to pastas, salads & soups. The staff were friendly and engaging, at the time of our visit it was busy so we understood the length of wait. I ordered a calzone which had vegan meatballs and other fillings, I always love it when a restaurant can offer meat alternatives and GF options (which they did both!). The brick layout of the building really sets the tone and atmosphere making our dinner much more enjoyable. Before we left we picked up a few Gelato's at the front of the store. Pizza is amazing. They have kept some of the old traditions and built new ones. The service is great, you walk in and they already know what order your picking up as they remember your name and face. Sitting area is nice and they have so much variety on their toppings and can accommodate most diets. They also have a large selection of vegan and vegetarian options. It's one of my top pizza places. Make sure you try the Detroit Style Pizza it's a game changer. Also they have pasta dishes and calzones, and of course gelato!! read more

"Detroit-style" pizza is something you don't come across that often (outside of Michigan, I'd presume). But, when in Rome! And what better place to try it than at Town Hall Pizza. They make a good pie. We needed a good amount of food for a guys weekend and Town Hall struck our fancy. We were particularly drawn in by the Detroit-style boasting. I actually had never had it before, so I was excited. Let me tell you, Town Hall delivered! We ordered 6 pizzas and each were amazing in their own right. Sure, we had a standard pepperoni and sausage but we also had a few specialty ones - all were tasty! And the pieces are pretty filling as well, on account that they are pretty thickly doughed on the bottom. I was a fan at first bite. Picking up the food we had to wait just a bit but we also hit them at the prime dinner time on a Friday night. The staff, however, was warm and friendly to us. There are not a ton of options when it comes to pizza in the area so I'm glad to see that what there is offers something worth getting. We'll be back to Town Hall Pizza, I'm certain. read more

Wanted to try a new place so we decided to go to Town Hall Pizza. My husband and I both got calzones, mine was just cheese while my husband got pepperoni and bacon in his. I hadn't had a calzone in a long time and the one from here really hit the spot. I know I want to try their pizza next time but I definitely would get a calzone again. My husband really enjoyed his calzone and he said he would definitely reorder it. They also have sandwiches, pasta, soups, and salads if you are looking for something other than pizza. We did have to wait about 45 minutes for our food, but we used that time to walk a bit while enjoying the breeze and sun. I don't come to Berrien Springs very often, but Town Hall pizza will definitely bring me back soon. read more

We've been buying pizza from Town Hall for years. We don't eat a lot of it, but there's is always amazing. Especially the Detroit Style. Killer!! Last night we took a break from home cooked dinner and went there. It was 715-ish, and they were packed. We were, however, able to go New York style and get seated at a table for six with a couple already seated. We haven't had pasta in months. I ordered the Ravioli Florentine & Vodka sauce. Janie ordered the Baked Spaghetti with Meatballs and Meat Sauce. We both ordered Zuppa Toscana. In spite of a full house we had our soup in minutes. Amazing comes to mind. I've had Zuppa Toscana in at least a half dozen venues over the years. Their deliver is easily the best I've ever had. Every component cooked perfectly. The balance in seasonings; spot on. Texture exactly what I was hoping it would be. I didn't try the Baked Spaghetti so I can only say Janie said it was very good. The Ravioli... I've want to try vodka sauce on something other than pizza for quite a while, in preparation for creating my version at home. This was a great introduction. The sauce is light; not too "tomatoe-y" but still the delicious flavors coming through. Spice level was great - just enough, not too much. Texture was smooth, light, creamy. There was an interesting hint of sweetness that set everything off. Add to this to ricotta and spinach ravioli. All the flavors of the cheese and spinach perfectly balanced, and cooked to just the right texture; bite in the greens, but still not crunchy. The ravioli itself was cooked al dente as I like it, and rounded out the dish. Even though they were running a hectic pace, staff always maintained contact, kept everything going, and wait times were much less than anticipated. Plus they run a massive take-out business if you want to eat at home. We will be back, and I highly recommend it! read more

My family and I were returning home from our summer road trip when we stopped by Town Hall Pizza. We saw many amazing things on the trip, including Niagara Falls. I mention this, because if I were to rank everything we did and saw and experienced, I would rank Niagara Falls as second best, and this pizza in first place. I am not exaggerating. This is the best pizza I have ever eaten. I have eaten pizza from all over the United States, from New York to Chicago, and this is the best. DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!! I wish I could transport this kitchen brick by brick to my home town, unfortunately I must make amends with the cold, dismal fact that I must leave Town Hall Pizza behind. I really like this place. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas and other Italian fare. I especially love the Twist Detroit style, and was bummed I couldn't get one yesterday! They are great for catering too. I've gotten carryout for 10 plus pizzas and they did a great job. I highly recommend the garlic cheese bread with tomatoes! I get it every time we come here and it's soooooooo good. I could probably just have that for a meal and I'd be happy haha. Salads are good too! I think they make their own croutons and they are very tasty. I also really like their lemon vinaigrette. I do caution you if you are getting the special pizzas with more than 5 toppings they tend to be soggy but they still taste good. Give them a call if you're in the area! read more

Updated..... We've been coming here regularly (like every 3-4 months) for the last two years. My disdain comes from the last time I went...about 3 months ago. I ordered a margarita pizza, add sausage and a veggie, add cheddar. She reads it back to me on the phone. I get to the place and 15 mins after she told me it'd be done they come out with the margarita add sausage and a CHEESEBURGER pizza. Instead of apologizing for the mixup she tells me she took the order and she's not wrong. Excuse me??? I ask for a manager and was told there isn't one available right now. I was already annoyed for sitting there so long I paid the $47 for two pizzas, one incorrect. I swear off town hall until we're hungry and need something semi-fast. Reluctantly, I call and place an order. Two 12 in pizzas are again $45...which I had to bring home and put in the oven to crisp and heat up....even though I was there to accept them right when they came out. Also I get a Berrien Surpreme...and it has chopped raw onions on top?? This place, since remodeling, I feel the quality in both pizza and service has taken a hit to pay for it all. Two years ago when we moved from Chicago I knew this place was going to be my go-to for Chicago pizza cravings. I roll that statement back and I'll never go here again. Friday, June 23rd, ordered a cheese pizza on gluten-free crust. Ordered black olives, mushrooms and onions. Greatly disappointed. Crust was like Civil War hard tack. Sauce was MIA. Cheese was bland. Was it really mozzarella? Onions were hardly there. Black olives were skimpy. Certainly not worth the over $18 paid. When I brought it home I was told I should have refused it. Last year, we tried one. Our first. Regular crust. Asked for black olives, onions and mushrooms. I should've looked at it before I left the store. Somebody didn't proof the dough correctly, because a huge bubble made for a clumping of cheese, sauce and veggies off to the side. Should have taken this one back. Roma's, which was there previously, was great. These guys? They claim to be continuing the family recipes and traditions. This is not borne out by the products. It's like they're trying to figure out how to make pizza. . Next gluten free pizza we'll get from Emma's in Bridgman. They know how to make pizza. Wish AJ's had not stopped doing pizza. Berrien Springs finally has good pizza! This is about 10,000 times better than Roma's. The staff is super nice. Not only is the pizza delicious, but they have some interesting topping combos that are fun to try. Highly recommend trying them out. Great pizza, but their gluten free option is very expensive. It costs $15, but only enough calories for one person (if even). I'd give them 5 stars otherwise. For normal customers, the prices are decent for the quality of food. It's the best pizza you'll get here in Berrien. Try their breadsticks too, or get fancy with their specialty options! This place is in the building of the original Roma Pizza. I think they stole the recipes or bought them because it taste just like it. Was very excited that the flavors hadn't changed. I grew up with this as the only take out pizza I knew. The ownership has changed...the recipe too but the decor is exactly the same as it was in 86, somehow, I like it that way. Service is good, prices are reasonable. I think the flavors are decent and there are GF options. I gave them 3 stars because the salad was pretty bad. Tomatoes diced and kept in the fridge overnight. It is just a little hick town but it is my hick town and I think we can do better. Happy to update my review if things change on my next visit. read more
