I'm so bummed. First time I came here it was the best quality, because the owner was working. The pizza was perfect, and we couldn't wait to come back. The second time we came here, the owner wasn't in and the girl working had a major attitude because we asked for napkins. The pizza was super greasy and the crust wasn't cut so we had to use a knife. Sigh. I guess go in when the owner is there for the best pizza otherwise lower your expectations, a lot! Pictures are same pizza from first visit and second visit. Mixed feelings for this place. I have celiacs disease so it's a safe and good option. Recently i've been running into problems when the younger people are working. They will disable online orders while they're open and say they will be back at whatever time, go back to check and they move it again to a later time and also won't pick up the phone. They answered one time and told me to hang on, and then hung up. I finally got my order. I ordered chicken ranch pizza, no bacon or onions. there were onions. also, i couldn't eat dinner last night and had to waste $30 because the black stuff all on the bottom was so strong and gross!! ... i eat here pretty regularly and this is happening every so often.. very upsetting. please better train your employees. there's a really nice lady with brunette hair who i assume is the owner? i'm not sure. The restaurant was in a nice location at the sister lakes. The owner and worker were helpful with taking our orders and telling us about their food. Our pepperoni pizza was good - we would prefer less cheese but didn't ask for it that way. The gluten free crust was the best I've ever had! Lots of games and outdoor space too. read more

First tried it a few years ago and did not like the pizza. Decided to try again tonight and called 20-30 minutes before closing, I was asked hold and they hung up 3 times! Propaganda was recommended by a business associate. I'll have to thank him. We ordered the "Works" pizza to go ( only option during Corona lock down ) I was impressed upon entering, by the site of a Blodgett Pizza oven, and the aroma of baking pizza. Ours was just coming out of the oven, looked good. The drive home was killing me. The pizza was excellent. The restaurant was clean, owner very friendly and personable. Will be our new go to pizza. Fresh quality ingredients, great sauce crust, and delicious. Would recommend to anyone I know. Update. We have been here a few more times since my first review, and they have been consistently excellent. Tonight we asked to let it bake for a few minutes longer, and they were more than accommodating. I ordered a small chicken bacon ranch pizza and a small garlic cheesy bread for my husband and I and it was the perfect amount. We even had a little pizza left over. They were both yummy and cooked perfectly. The girl at the front was very pleasant and friendly and gave me suggestions on where to take my dogs hiking around the area. She did mention something about tips but, sorry the economy is awful right now so I'm happy to throw a ca few bones her way and also to the cook, who also came out to chime in on recs for the area. But about half the time it's undercooked or overcooked, wrong toppings etc. The last two times we went in to pick up a pizza the girl at the register gave us a spiel about how she's having a bad day because she hasn't been getting enough tips and that's where she makes her money. I was visiting Michigan for a wedding and had been going through a pretty wild adventure for finding the Airbnb and all 4 people in the car were getting very hangry. Fortunately this joint was open and not very far away from where we were. We ordered an order of breadsticks and a pepperoni pizza. Wow, Propaganda Pizza in Dowagiac is UNBELIEVABLE! We've been coming up to Sisters Lakes for 10 years and this was our first time trying it. We ordered a small four cheese pizza and large personalized pizza over the phone and it was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Our entire family of 6 devoured the pizzas (we expected to have extras for lunch!), but the SAUCE is unreal and we couldn't help ourselves. Definitely will be ordering from here again!! read more

First order was tonight and last order will be shortly before I die. Fantastic dinner tonight. Great set-up for covid distancing for take out. I got a large (15 inch) sausage and small (10 inch) "the works." Both were fantastic with a beer and with a calm Magician Lake. Crust is as good as other reviews suggest and has a hint of garlic. The pizza itself sings with lots of cheese and flavor. My only criticism is that the ingredients on the works are very tiny against overly large sausage. But my knife cut the sausage down to a better size and I was instantly satisfied. I found the best pizza in Michigan and it's only second to my Chicago love of Tedinos in Edgewater. This pizza is thicker than Chicago thin but thinner than most Michigan pizza I've had. Maybe it's unique to Sister Lakes. In the end, I'm smitten. read more

I got a pizza from here on the first day they opened. I was really hoping for a good place to go in Sister Lakes for pizza. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It was not all bad, because the crust had really good texture. It's a thin crust that is crispy and chewy. The red sauce was also good. The downfall comes from a lack of cheese and toppings. The carry-out pizza felt like the box was empty, and the pizza was in the box! They have one size-15inch. A 3 topping pizza cost $21.50 + tax. Very overpriced for what you get.
