What really crossed the line was when I watched her look at us while we paid on the table kiosk, laugh after seeing the tip, and then talk negatively about us to another coworker. That was extremely unprofessional. Toward the very end of the meal, her attitude suddenly changed and she tried to be nice, which felt forced and only after realizing her behavior had likely affected the tip. Had the service been respectful and professional, the tip would have absolutely been generous. We came here to enjoy good food and a peaceful meal, not to feel disrespected. When the manager arrived to my table, he proceeded to be dismissive and tell me that it wasn't a maggot. I have a video showing the maggot, there was nothing in the vegetables that would resemble a bug. In addition to being dismissive, he did not offer any consolation or apologize for my experience. It's unfortunate I had to go through this at this location, as I frequently eat here and have had good experiences with other wait staff and managers but this manager really put a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I'll be able to go back to that restaurant if that is the type of management working there and the possibility of finding bugs in my food again.
