We were excited to try this place. The inside is clean and orderly. The chips brought to the table were light, crisp, and hot. We ordered the guacamole dip thinking it was the one on the menu, for $4.99, but it ended up being the $8.99 bowl that we could not find on the extensive menu. I had Ñoquis Gratinados with steak. it was good, the steak was okay, but would have preferred all the cuts of meat be the same size, and bite sized. Spouse had the Churrasco a lo Pobre, a taco, and a tamale. The taco was good. The tamale, although large in size did not have much pork in it. The meat on the churrasco a lo pobre plate was really tough, unless you really like to chew, and chew, and chew, think twice about ordering the churrasco a lo pobre plate. If you do order it, bring your dental floss. Although we spoke to the waiter about the tough meat, and the waiter admitted he tried cutting the meat and it was tough. After that, there was no attempt to replace the meat with a more tender piece nor was my spouse asked if he wanted to try a different dish. When paying for the meal, there was no discount offered for the tough meat on the plate. The eggs on the plate were also kind of over cooked and brown and crispy around the edges. Customer service is lacking. Unfortunately for the restaurant, we will not be patrons. read more

Absolutely phenomenal are the only two words I can open this review to hopefully express the delicious food, great atmosphere, and a feeling of being part of a family for what I call an amazing dining experience on Father's Day 2025...yum!!! I ordered the lomo a lo pobre (poor man's steak and eggs) and my date ordered the chaufa de pollo (Fried rice with chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil, scrambled eggs, red pepper, scallion, garlic, and ginger)...absolutely delicious!! Our drinks were also da bomb (great): Horchata and Chicha Morada...yum and yum!! Desert was Flan...a final yum...we will definitely return!!! read more

Service was awkward. The lady that greeted us and seated us said not one word the entire time. The food was ok. Beef tips were very tough to chew. The chicken with pasta we ordered that is on the yelp images, was pale in comparison to the chicken shown in size and was pounded to paper thin. We do not have a desire to return sadly. read more

On a whim, our girls' beach trip decided on Misky with just 2 5-Star reviews (Sept. 2024). It opened 5 months ago. We were blown away by our experience. My dish (#74) was delicious, and I'd order it again. My friends loved their Lomo Saltado, burrito, tacos, and garlic shrimp with yuca. We were the only gringos, a sure sign that it's a great place. At 3 pm on a holiday the place was busy! The atmosphere was great. Our seats were comfortable. There wasn't loud music/ tvs in our section. We'll be back! Keep up the great work. read more

Oh my goodness!!! so I looked up restaurants in Dothan on yelp and this place came up. As soon as I saw their cover photo, I told myself whatever that is I have to have it so my husband and I went and and let me just say the food portions were even bigger than it looked in the pictures. The flavor of the food was so amazing. The employees are so nice. The restaurant is extremely clean and beautiful. We will definitely be back again. I don't leave many reviews, but this was too good to not promote this business! Found MISKY on Yelp and although only 2 reviews, they were great so we took a chance, and so glad we did! Started with Chips & Salsa and some cheese dip.....yummy! Then my wife and I both ordered the Churrasco A Lo Pobre and it was fantastic! A couple of cold beers to go with it, and a Flan to complete the festivities, we were very happy campers! The place was very clean, and the staff very friendly. We rarely have Peruvian food and this was a great experience. Steak and chicken both were flavorful and tender. Pasta was great too. Our Hotel the Doubletree in Dothan recommended Misky. And what a treat it was. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. It was our first experience with Peruvian Cuisine. Our waitress was very helpful and patience explaining the flavors and menu. A side note they served us chips and salsa at the beginning. Exceptional thin crispy chips and a delightful salsa. I had the crispy fish and it was amazing, my husband had the beef #69 on menu and he loved every bite. I highly recommend this place and hope to return one day. The first time we visited MISKY was shortly after they opened January 2024), and it was AMAZING! The food was fantastic, and their staff were wonderful. We're from out of town (west coast) and don't get to visit the area as much as we would like, but MISKY was DEFINITELY on our list to hit once we were back in town. We visited again (March 2025), and it was still AMAZING! We showed up 20 min before closing, apologized for our timing, and asked if we could simply order takeout IF the kitchen was still open. Not only did they accommodate us, but they were willing to let us dine in if we wanted. The offer was much appreciated, but we didn't want to inconvenience their staff. We took our order to go & ate it at the "dining area" our hotel. The hotel personnel & incoming guests kept asking where we got our dinner, because it both smelled incredible and was also beautifully presented (YES, even though it was takeout). It tasted even better than it looked. We love this place so much! Everything we've tried here has been fantastic. read more

After hearing a lot of buzz, we finally visited one Saturday night. The food was mostly consistent with other Mexican restaurants, but did have some dishes that featured fettuccine noodles and other unusual combination dishes. The drinks were above average and the service was very good. Overall, this place is hard to nail down so I think you should just give it a try inform your own opinion. read more
