If I could give negative stars I would. First I called and asked what all comes on the seafood platter. I then asked the price, I was told 21 dollars and change so I ordered it. Once I arrived I was told it was 27 dollars so I asked why I was told 21 dollars and change over the phone she said no it's 27 and some change. I then paid looked at the food and Im disappointed to say the least. Catfish looks fine but the shrimp size is ridiculous as is the fried oysters. Never again will I make the mistake of eating there. I even asked the lady this is all you get for 27 dollars she said yeah had I not already paid I would have walked out. read more

The burger was great. Everyone that ordered fried fish was disappointed. My 4-year-old niece says she never wants to eat fish again after one bite. I thought she was being dramatic until I tasted it for myself. It tasted like unseasoned fried water, like not even salt or pepper. We told the server and little was done other than being offered a burger for half off (to a non burger eater) and a paper menu for next time. We won't be needing that. read more

Well we stopped here on a whim figuring a seafood restaurant would have plenty of steamed or grilled options, sadly that is not the case! I wanted the seafood platter grilled not fried and was very quickly told no they won't (not can't) do that! I am a huge seafood lover and have asked at many restaurants to have something grilled or steamed rather than fried with no problem at all!! So I settled for grilled catfish with a salad (all sides are fried too)! Saddest "salad bar" I have ever seen in my life! Lettuce, cheese, imitation bacon bits, pickles, peppers, soggy tomatoes, and some dressing. Just sad really! Service was definitely lacking as I sat here with an empty glass for nearly 15 minutes during which time we were never checked on and no refill was offered! We didn't see our server until our food finally arrived! And the worst part about the service is that it wasn't even busy, so no excuse for such bad service! The food was unbelievable! For the price I paid for this scrawny catfish is unbelievable!!!!! My husbands plate was piled high with a big piece of catfish, fries of course, but I got was a joke! Our server never returned to the table having someone else bring us our food instead. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! read more

This was my first trip here, and I won't be back. We came in about 4pm on Saturday. We were the only ones in the place. The food was good, and the woman who sat us and took our order was nice. we never saw her again though. Someone else brought our appetizers and meal. Check was dropped with our meal, and we weren't checked on again. No drink refills, no making sure everything was OK, nothing. Our check wasn't added up, so I had no idea of the total until it was rang through the register. As a 20 year restaurant veteran, I 100% understand how things run. This was a great example of how NOT to do things. read more

Our lunch group tried the new location this week. It was great! Several of us had grouper, which was lightly-breaded and crispy, absolutely not greasy at all. The coleslaw, potato salad, french fries, and salad bar were all very delicious. The onion rings were especially great because they were so crispy and not greasy. We also had an order of chicken fingers and a burger eaten and really enjoyed at our table. But the best thing besides the grouper and onion rings was FRIED MACARONI & CHEESE! They also have really good tartar sauce and red sauce. We will definitely put this place on our list for return visits. read more

This a great little seafood dive. You don't come for the atmosphere, because well, there is none. But food, O the glorious fried seafood is the best in town. We had crab claws and flounder. Cooked to perfection, not greasy. The fries , slaw, and hush puppies compliment the main course very well. Wish they had red snapper or scamp, but that just being greedy. We had dinner at this restaurant on a Thursday evening. Had fried mushrooms for appetizer. They were great. Followed by the catfish and shrimp platter. This was excellent as well. Never again. Had the catfish sandwich for lunch today. fish is paper thin and was more breading than fish. Fell apart right away. the booths need to be thrown out and replaced with other seating. We heard great things about this place and had to check it out! Went with a group of friends and it was great!! The atmosphere was lively because there was Karaoke that night. The beers were cold and served promptly. We ordered the Onion Rings, French Fries, and the Crab Claws to share for our table. The Crab Claws were a total hit and seasoned perfectly! The Onion Rings were delicious, crispy and lightly battered. The fries were crinkle cut, served plentiful. Overall, our experience was fantastic! Definately will go back again! read more
