This has been in of my better dining experiences so far in Dothan!! The food was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. The staff was beyond fantastic!!! The lighting and ambiance was very comfortable and the menu was strong! The restaurant is well appointed with several two tops and four tops. All spaced appropriately. So you don't have to make friends with all the guests while you are eating. I ordered the jasmine tea to start, then the Tom Kah soup. And not sure which curry to get, I took the staff suggestions. My tea was brewed just right. And the tea cup, all I loved how it fit in my hand. It was the perfect start to my meal. My soup came out next. It was a feast for the eyes and the aroma was beautiful. I started to have some, and the flavor did not disappoint. I literally wrote home about it, while eating it!! My curry was next. I love how the waitress brought me over Thai chili sauce, and reminded me to be careful. The entree had the fresh produce on the side, similar to PHO, but a noodle curry. I loved it! Great Thai restaurant. We were in town on business and decided to give this place a try. Service was good. While not huge selection of items on the menu, there is certainly plenty of choices and more than enough to please most people. Prices are very reasonable, portions are a good size, food comes out good and hot and everything looks freshly made, nothing looks like it's been held for hours. Im always interested in places that have so many great reviews as usually in my experience the reviews dont always add up to what it seems. The Thai House didn't disappoint. The outside looked okay, its in a small plaza. The inside though was well crafted with decor. The service was outstanding. Besides our waitress we got checked on multiple occasions. The pad ze ew was excellent. Flavor was great, the only thing i would say is that I would have asked for more spiciness to my dish. It wasnt bland at all I just wanted just a tad of a kick to it. I was in town giving training for work. This place seemed like one of the better none chain options in town. I got there around 7PM and I got the last table without having to wait. I ordered the Mussaman curry with chicken on the recommendation of the server. I added a extra spice to make sure it had some kick. The curry had a good sweet flavor but it could have been a little more spicy. The potatoes were on the undercooked side. It okay for peppers to be on the crisp side but undercooked potatoes are never a good thing. I don't make it to Dothan often but I'd probs let give them another chance if I was back in town. read more

The place was clean, the staff friendly and the food was very good. It is found at the end of a small strip center. They opened for dinner at 4:30 pm. I was the first one there. The place is popular and filled up rather quickly. The restaurant its self is quaint and has a nice ambiance and decor. The menu has quite a variety to choose from and I would say it's a higher-end Thai restaurant. You can dine in, or order out. They do not deliver. My waitress was friendly and shared their most popular dishes and appetizers. I went with her suggestion on the Chicken Triangles and the Chicken yellow curry. The food came out hot and fresh! I like their food presentation. It came on a nice warmer that kept my food warm from start to finish. The vegetables were fresh and bright in color. The chicken is tender and the flavor mouth-watering. For those that drink they do have a wine list, you can order by glass or bottle. They also have a beer list. My overall experience was great! This restaurant isn't a five star restaurant, but there service is most definitely five stars! Very clean and very elegant inside for a local Asian restaurant. And the service is phenomenal. First off, a saw a couple of older ladies sit by me and wonder what Thai tea was. The server surprised them with a sample cup of Thai tea. Very nice. I came here and ordered Thai tea, Green curry with scallops, & the drunken noodles w/o meat. Thai tea is bottomless. My green curry was $20. My drunken noodles was $10. We've been here multiple times while here for work. The food and service is just amazing. We've had the volcano chicken with shrimp, garlic chicken, beef with veggies, chicken pad Thai, shrimp red curry and oh goodness the ice jasmine green tea is amazing. This last visit was extremely annoying bc there was a Vietnamese couple on FaceTime and they had the volume on max. They weren't even talking about anything important. This place is absolutely incredible! I've been here twice within a few weeks. Both times the service was wonderful, and the food is seriously THE best Thai food I've ever had. The hubby even kept saying how great the food was. He had the Thai basil chicken. We shared the Thai rolls for an appetizer, and I had the pad Thai with chicken for my entree. I had the pad Thai last time as well, and it was just as good the second time! During my last visit, I also got the Panang Curry to go so I could have it for lunch the next day... it was so delicious and tasted like it was freshly made. I was not expecting much in Alabama for Thai but this location had great ratings and I just had to take a peek. From the exterior it looked questionable. Clean but no real style. The moment I entered the restaurant I immediately realized the outside was no reflection of the restaurant. Thai decor was done culturally in a way to not be overwhelming. Aesthetic and very classy. The red paper napkins are probably the only clear definition of it being casual at first glance. That and the attire of the customers. The staff was courteous and attentive and quickly seated me and took my drink order. I tend to gauge any Thai restaurant off specific menu items. The first is Thai tea. I ordered a Thai tea to start and unlike every previous experience I received a glass as expected but a half carafe filled with more Thai tea as well. On occasion I have to order two to last the entirety of my meal. I have no doubt I will be hard pressed to finish it all. I noted the dishes delivered to the other tables and saw portions were extremely generous. As I am dining alone I made a note to limit my menu choices lest I have way too much for one person. I started with the Golden Bags. Probably not the best name for them in my mind but a very literal description of them. I think I would more decoratively refer to them as poultry purses or chicken treasures housing what I believe is chicken and potato with spices. They were a great touch coupled with the sweet dipping sauce. The ambiance was relaxing. Not too noisy and draped in a subtle classical piano music background that continued to sell me on the classy vibe. I say that as I watch a man clad in shorts departing the restaurant. He seems sooooo out of place. Soon after my Chicken Phad Thai arrives looking absolutely perfect and generous as I suspected. I will be happy I stopped with one entree. The Phad Thai is well flavored and sweet. Not that spicy but a rich flavor that I am thoroughly enjoying. Of all restaurants I have tried locally this has been the definite gem in the rough.i wish I had someone else dining with me so o could sample another menu item. Their portions in relation to price are amazing. No clue how they do it but I am sold. If you leave here hungry or unhappy you incapable of being pleased and likely have a hollow leg. To start, if you are a newbie to the Thai food scene this would be a great place to start, they have all the hits (curries, noodles, and fried rice dishes) that you need to try and the flavors are true to what you would expect. I loved the Pad See Ew I got and its a dish I would highly recommend to a noodle lover like myself. I also got to try the green curry with shrimp which was really flavorful and delicious. I had read the reviews on this place and was super excited to go based on them stating that when you ask for Thai hot spiciness they will give it to you. However, I found that the food that I asked to have made hot was just not that spicy at all. In fact, we asked for additional spices so that we could add them to our dishes to make them to the level we wanted and we had to add quite a bit. I grew up eating spicy food, so please don't bite off more than you can chew when it comes to this, you can always add more, but its pretty impossible to take spice away :) read more
