I've been here, I don't know, upwards of half dozen times before. I've always gotten the same thing: at least one Sunday Morning roll and at least one Philadelphia Roll. It's super simple and essentially the same food, just one is fried. It's delicious and wonderful. I always am happy to get a good meal here! The service is also always quick and the place always looks well-kept, for the most part. It's usually fairly quiet, but even when there are a lot of families present, the space is large enough to where it's barely noticeable and almost a non-issue for maintaining a happy, enjoyable meal. read more

I've been eyeballing this spot for a bit since I work in Anderson Township and have been looking for an excuse to go. Luckily I found one in convincing my co-workers to go for lunch one day. Great idea, right? And it turned out to be really good too. My co-workers and I went on a Wednesday for lunch. The place itself is pretty big and had lots of unique paintings and decor. I looked at their menu prior to going and they had lots of different options, from sushi to lots of different noodles to build-your-own hibachi bowls. It was honestly tough to choose because it all looked good, but I finally decided to build my own hibachi bowl. We all chose that in fact. They give you a bowl and let you pick your ingredients buffet style and they cook it for you once you're done. You pay by the pound and the price is cheaper if you go for lunch. They cook it pretty quickly because all of our bowls were done pretty fast. So fast that we weren't even done with the crab rangoon and edamame we ordered as appetizers. Everything was cooked very well and turned out very tasty. We definitely left full too and for a pretty nice price. Overall, good spot for a nice, tasty lunch. I could see going here again, of course, with my lady next time. We might try their sushi together. read more

Just like the old BD Mongolian restaurant. You sit down and order sushi or a bowl of Mongolian stir fry. You request white or brown rice and then make your bowl with veggies and meat and spices and flavorings. 11.99 for lunch or 13.99 for dinner. I think unlimited bowls are 3 dollars more. They are getting a beer and wine license. You put your bowl on the counter and they stir fry it on a large hot stone. Your rice choice is on the bottom. We got fried rice, which was yellowish. Next time we will do white or pile noodles on top to cook. Drinks were reasonable at 2.49. Fresh pop. Great service, many refills. They brought the food to our table. An art is to put heaviest stuff on top. I piled mine high and easily could have done more, but i can only eat so much. Steak, chicken, pork, sausage, white fish, and shrimp was available. Second time I've eaten here, both times for lunch. Not too many Mongolian places in thie area other than Da Han. I like this place a little better since their selection of sauces is so good, especially if you like things hot and spicy. And they don't put their meat out in frozen rolls which gives more room in the bowl for other things. You put your own bowl together from meats and veggies and sauces, and they grill it for you and bring it to your table along with your rice selection (white, fried or brown) at the bottom of the cooked bowl. Mine tasted fantastic--just a little bit of heat to make it interesting. One big bowl filled me up. You can get unlimited bowls for 4 bucks more, but there are no carryouts on leftovers if you do that. Fantastic place and I can't wait to return here. read more

Everything is hot, fresh made, and amazing. We will definitely continue to eat here a few times a month. Food is wonderful, you don't need to fill your bowl 3 feet tall, pay the extra few dollars and this way you can create small dishes and and experiment with different meats and veggies and sauces to enjoy your way. I came here on the first day this restaurant opened, and the staff was extremely accommodating to the acclimating ambiance. You can either order carry out or go to the yummy bowl or sushi line. I got a yummy bowl and you go down a line with clearly labeled ingredients and put what you want manually into a bowl. There also is a wide range of sauces and spices you can top your bowl with to make it personalized. I got a vegetarian bowl and the veggies could not get fresher than this! Best Mongolian BBQ I've been to by a long shot. They have a great selection of seafood - Scallops, mussels, salmon, shrimp, squid, and the chicken, pork and beef are fresh, not those rolled up frozen steakums abominations. Also low Ads of fresh veggies options.The sauces are great and lots of them , with tasting spoons to ensure you'll like what you pick. All for $14, it's a no brained. We just had a very disappointing visit. it was my first time, my husband couldn't stop saying how good your place is! We love the attention to cleanliness and signs remaining everyone to use hand sanitizer frequently. unfortunately, we saw an employee wipe his nose with his hand and then go immediately behind the counter and start touching tongs. so sad to see, because it is disgusting things like that that can destroy a restaurant's reputation. we will not be dining there again, due to the uncleanness of some of your staff. read more

The dragon and the angel hair (both completely amazing. Angel hair was my favorite). We got the dinner bowls. You take your bowl to the buffet like line and pile it up with all your favorites. I suggest to load it up like it's your last meal! Hey, might as well get your moneys worth, right? They have soooo many sauces and spices to add to your bowl. It's almost impossible to decide which ones to get! I chose garlic powder, Mongolian, garlic and teriyaki sauce. Highly recommend using sauce. If not, your bowl will be bland. I also requested fried rice. So I piled up my food in my bowl and gave it to the cooks. Went back and sat down. Minutes later I got a huge bowl of complete deliciousness! Sooo much food that I left completely full and had take out that is enough for literally two more meals! Staff was super nice and helpful. Our first visit and won't be our last! First off I'm shocked this place only has 31 reviews as it's mentioned quite often on Chow Down Cincinnati. And I'm also shocked that it has so many good reviews. This place is a dangerous hazard. The way this place works is they give you a bowl; you fill it out from a buffet of noodles, veggies & meats. Add your sauces at the end. You leave your bowl on the counter, they cook it on the grill and your waiter brings the bowl to your table. The cross contamination here is crazy. My husband found 5 shrimp in his bowl; he didn't put shrimp in his bowl. I had corn in mine. Didn't put corn in my bowl. I can never take my daughter here as she has a seafood allergy and to some this could be a deadly mistake. The only way I would come back is if I was out with friends and they all wanted to eat here; I'd come along. But won't make a special trip. I highly suggest they work on their safety process. read more

Many places don't have brown rice, but Yummy Bowl does. I made a bowl with tons of vegetables, steak, lamb, shrimp, scallops and brown rice. They have numerous sauce options from sweet to hot and everything in between. No matter what dietary restrictions you might have, you would be able to make a delicious bowl that's filling and tasty! I've heard good things about this place so we were excited to try it. So many lunch options not available on the weekends. When my daughter ordered her Mongolian bowl she asked no less than 4 times for the dinner size bowl. The waiter kept asking her "kids bowl?" And every time she answered "no dinner bowl". She was still given a kids bowl. We ordered crab ragoons and gyoza. The rangoons were like none we've ever had before, and I don't mean that in a good way. I'm not sure exactly what they put in them but the consistency was like unbaked cheesecake. The gyoza tasted like it was freezer burned. When my sushi roll was placed in front of me all I smelled was mold. Assumed it was either the wasabi or the ginger so turned my plate and could no longer smell it. My daughter that was across from me though immediately did once it was in her vicinity. I ate one piece of my king Kong roll and immediately hated it. Everything on the plate was the same temperature (room temperature) and the exact same soft, slimy texture. Told the waiter I didn't like it and he could take it back. It remained on the bill. $15 for one piece of sushi makes it officially the most expensive I've ever had. Thankfully no one at our table has any allergies as both my oldest and my husband has seafood in their bowls. Also, my husband got someone else's bowl entirely.
