So we got way too many sweets, i chose a chocolate for my hub, the guy helped me choose something with allergies in mind. I don't know why this place has such good reviews.... the ice cream I got here was really, really bad. I took a chance on it because there's no samples (probably a COVID thing) and major regrets. I got the almond based chocolate olive oil. They have coconut based, almond based, soy based, sunflower based, and peanut butter based flavors, but I thought that the other ones would be too overpowering or not as good. It was okay. Very small place. The workers didn't look like they wanted to be there. We sampled some of the ice creams but they weren't for us. We didn't care for the flavors but thats a personal opinion. We did bag some of our on candy. We were in there for at least 10 minutes and the workers never seemed happy. Didn't talk much to us at all. Didn't talk to each other. Very strange. We were underwhelmed by this place. Walked in here to browse for some omiyage to bring back home. We had hoped to find some made in Texas stuff for the hubs office colleagues. We so fortunately met Tracy here who was the most helpful salesperson we met. We just asked her to point us to some Texas merchandise and she spent so much time looking around and showing us great gifts and then giving us samples of ice cream. So helpful and friendly. THIS PLACE WAS ADORABLE! They served about 10 vegan icecream flavors made from Sweet Ritual. They also had vegan fudge and macaroons. In the back corner, they had a whole section dedicated to vegan candy! Next time I come I will check that out a little bit more. I got the chocolate peanut butter cup and it was just as good as Coconut Bliss icecream you see at whole foods (in a pint) just less processed! They had so many different flavor cones! Lavender, green tea, cake batter, etc. This one was red velvet! Not picture was peanut butter vegan fudge. I wasn't a fan, it had a really weird taste to it kinda similar to melted wax. Went here as part of the vegan ice cream tour and was so glad I did. It's been forever since I've had a waffle cone - these ones are flavored and vegan. I think the server said the cones weren't gluten-free, so check before getting one. I got the vegan cookies and cream ice cream (all of the ice cream is vegan). So tasty! What a cute shop, too. I left with vegan m&ms, too, for another evening. I'd recommend walking through Toy Joy next door, then ending with Yummi Joy for ice cream and candy. In love with this cute little store/ice cream candy shop! I was craving for some ice cr am and decided to go to this one. Their ice cream is all gluten free and single cups and cones that we had were about $4-$5. We also bought different types of candies from Japan and another country. I'm gonna assume our candy was more on the pricey side because we spent $32 on 2 ice creams, 2 lollipops, a mini box of chocolates and candy box of worms. Still a fun place to visit and enjoyed the peanut butter cup ice cream! soy based and gluten free ice cream has an acquired taste to it which was different but satisfied the ice cream craving! I got candy from the containers where you serve yourself. Almost every single thing I added to my bag was old and extremely chewy. Just about impossible to eat. My jaw shouldn't hurt from chewing what was supposed to be gummy candies. How old is this stuff in your containers? The truffles were ok. I wouldn't really buy them again. Mixed experience here. The candy selection is amazing, especially for the store's small size. I found some vegan gummies I've never seen before. I love that they have Sweet Ritual ice cream.
