All the pastries and breads are made in house by their pantry chef, Marivel Villavicencio. I tend to get a breakfast sandwich on the Guatemalan roll but I am always tempted by the gorgeous pastry that lines the counter as you wait to place your order. The staff as usual was kind and speedy. I finally remembered to put in my number for toast rewards and the cashier enthusiastically shared details about the rewards program with me. Before long I got my coquito latte and sandwich. The latte was spiced and creamy, exactly what you want and expect from coquito with a shot of espresso. I love the espresso they use, it's bold and rich, perfectly paired with the flavors of the coquito. The sandwich is my go to.
