Honestly, pretty disappointing. To start, it's a walk-up-and-order, which is fine, but they charge as much as sit-down and order places and the food takes the same amount of time to come out. Then, they confused our order and gave us the wrong things. We got it figured out, but the portion sizes were really inconsistent. I finished my noodles in 3 bites while 2 others at the table had a ton left over. Also, the milk tea just was not good. Just a heads up, if you are looking for a spicy ramen, then the black garlic is not it. I also had the pork gyoza, and it took everything in me not to devour all five pieces, but to savor them. I ordered my food for carry out, and Yujo places the broth in a separate container, so my ramen wouldn't be soggy by the time I got home (which is very much appreciated). I placed my order through the Yelp app, and it was easy. My order was ready on time. For the curb-side service you park your car in one of their zones and the employee will either bring your food to your car window or on your "counter" in your zone based on your preference. Stopped in with my kiddos after school on a Friday to try out their boba tea as we've heard from their friends how good it is. The restaurant is easy to find and parking is ample. Once inside, we were given a smaller menu by a staff member and reviewed it together to see what we'd like to try. It's a fairly simple ordering process, up until you get to the sweetener part. I asked during the ordering process what the staff member would recommend (or what do kids around 10 get?) and they pretty much left me without any help stating "it's how sweet you want it". I was disappointed as I understand that but is 100% overpoweringly sweet?? A little assistance would have been very helpful. We ended up ordering our drinks at 50% sweetener (I guessed) and sat down inside to wait. Plenty of seating in a very clean seating area. Our drink orders came out incorrectly (note to others: keep your receipt) but they were nice enough to make us the correct one for my son. We got one Mango, one strawberry, and one chai tea. Yet unfortunately all of the drinks were not sweet enough! Haha I ended up putting some sugar water in them once we made the short drive home so no harm done. 6/10 on the drinks. Perhaps next time we will try their ramen as it smelled AMAZING in there and had it been closer to dinner, we would have been more inclined to eat. read more

I was brought into Yujo for a Yelp event but also purchased the pork gyoza to try; and it was all very good! The ramen looks delicious and I will have to go back in the future when I'm looking for a meal; but for today I was quite satisfied with the gyoza. Decent lunch spot. Really nice folks. Seemed like my noodles were overcooked the last two orders I had for takeout. So I'm glad there's an uncooked option that I may need to try out. Since my last review, I've been to Yujo several times now. It became my go-to ramen place! I love the consistency in their ramen - each time it's perfect. Last time, I thought it was too salty, but I don't know if something's chanced (or my tastebuds!) haha I think it's perfectly fine now. My husband prefers Yujo for ramen as well. His coworkers also frequently order Yujo (they work nearby). We went on our honeymoon to Cancun, and the second we came back, we ordered Yujo as our welcome home meal haha we definitely missed eating what we're used to. Stopped here today for the first time to try their ramen for lunch. It appears they are working hard to maintain proper COVID protocol. I ordered the spicy ramen and took a seat outside. The ramen arrived hot and with an attractive presentation. I am not an expert but I know what I like. This ramen had a rich, spicy broth, lots of noodles, chashu, marinated egg, corn, scallions, nori, menma, and bean sprouts. Delicious! I do have a suggestion to anyone planning on ordering this. I decided to pick up something for dinner (take out) while on the north side. So, I stopped in Yujo to see what they had. I will state up front that I am not a huge fan of ramen at dine in places. I struggle with eating noodles with chopsticks and even if given a fork, they often serve large slices of meat (pork in my case) that are too big for one bite. The broth drips when you lift it and trying to bite through the meat and then returning the remaining part back into the bowl seems awkward if not just odd. So, I really appreciated that my 'to go' order placed the broth in one bowl and the ramen/meat/other stuff in a separate sealed bowl. Once home, I was able to place the non-liquid contents on a cutting board, and cut them all to bite sized pieces. I then divided the pieces between two bowls and added the reheated broth to each. Ramen bowls are notoriously huge servings for one person. The flavor of my Yuzu Signature was wonderful! The broth had a chicken & pork stock base with a bit of lemon zest for brightness of flavor. The chashu (braised pork belly) was thin, but originally was a large slice (more lean with just a bit of fat). The rest of the flavors worked really well with the broth and meat for a hearty dish. I also ordered a half sweet Strawberry Assam (milk tea) but they were out of boba (I wonder if they were going to make any for the evening shift since the place closes at 3 and reopens at 5.) The flavor was good, but without the boba, was less than expected. Overall, I found the food quite tasty and the service, though a bit inexperienced due to the newness, was pleasant and helpful. If you are a fan of ramen, check the place out. If you are new to ramen, I recommend getting it to go so you can practice at home. Review #3296 read more

What a great addition to the north side! This place is cool, you order at the counter and take a seat. Food takes 10 or so minutes , not too crazy. Spicy ramen was super spicy- it'll clean out your sinuses but oh so good. Black Garlic Ramen was good but lll get something different next time. I think the flavor was good and just had more to do with my finally coming to terms with I just don't like black garlic The pork gyoza was great and I was excited to see it could be ordered in a size of 8. This place is like the qdoba of ramen. It was fast and delicious. Yujo is in my top 2 places for ramen in Indy. It is sort of pricey, 2 bowls of ramen, fried chicken, 2 drinks was 40 dollars. So freaking good... Yep, that about sums it up. My first time here and I tried the Yuzu Signature and it was just the right thing on a cold rainy day. It had a bit of grizzle, which I don't care for though. However, the rest of the toppings were all to my liking. Especially the egg. If ever there was a perfect ramen egg, it was floating in my bowl and I devoured it. I might purchase extra egg next time. Yes... THAT good. I also ordered the fried chicken, which was good. Extra good with the dipping sauce. Nice and crisp on the outside, not dry on the inside, tasty. I had the pleasure of sampling their gyoza also and it is sooo worth it. Perfectly fried morsels of goodness. I could eat an entire platter of those... try me. I didn't try any of the tea, but my guests ensured me that they are awesome also. Even their regular clear iced teas are great (jasmine, earl gray) -but especially so are their boba milk teas-many selections and options, each one brewed to order-not weak or overly sweet depending on the level you choose. I get one when I need to work late because it is both soothing and energizing. The ramen, gyoza, and anything else I have ordered here is also ichiban. Wow, where to start! I've had a lot of ramen in the Bay Area, Chicago and NYC, and Yujo is definitely right up there at the top, if not the best I've ever had. And in Indiana of all places! The price points are all very reasonable, too. Great bang for your buck. I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. The broth was to die for. It was so rich and flavorful. The noodles reminded me a lot of Ippudo's and were cooked perfectly. The pork was a generous cut and very tender. The soy sauce flavored soft boiled egg, sliced mushrooms, bamboo shoots and scallions were nice touches as well. More broadly, the selection of ramen styles is really impressive, and the bubble tea options are solid. I work right down the street, so I'll definitely be coming back frequently to try the rest of the menu items. The location is very convenient off of Highway 31 and intersecting I-465 with the Parkwood offices close by. My visit for dinner was very quick, in and out the door in less than 30 minutes, which was ideal. The staff was extremely friendly, and the kitchen seemed efficient. Hidden little gem over north side Meridian! We were craving ramen but didn't want to drive over to Ramen Ray then realized there was a ramen place literally in our backyard! Cute space, bright and open! Menu is plastered on two different walls so you can see it. They offer teas, several different types of ramen, and sides. I got a tea with Boba and spicy miso - classic. Spice was perfect, noodles were made well. Meat was a tad fatty and chewy, but not bad. My tea was delicious and I wish I had more!
