Since then, I've toured many school campuses to enroll her, and I can confidently say that VPS offers an exceptional academic program along with outstanding after-school options. One thing that really stood out to me was the weekly presentations my daughter did. I believe they were based on alphabet items, though I may be mistaken. Regardless, these presentations were wonderful for building confidence and public-speaking skills at an early age. The homework reinforced what the children learned in class, and the at-home projects helped them feel proud and capable just like the "big kids." The after-school programs are excellent. My daughter did imagination station, sprout and blossom, violin lessons, and homework club. It provides strong academic structure while also teaching manners, confidence, and responsibility. The staff is wonderful and truly knows every child. The only downside I experienced was when I requested a transcript for my child while applying to a new schools. I was told that transcripts were not available for those grades. I had asked if they could write a letter indicating they don't have transcripts or to create in for me but neither was done. After that, communication seemed to drop off, and it felt as though we were no longer a priority once we had left the school. Overall, I would still recommend VPS without hesitation. The tuition is also very reasonable for an IB and private school. I truly wish we could return to VPS or find another school just like it.

However, I do have issues with one of the teachers there Mr Morrison. I haVe a child who is ADHD & has always needed a little more extra time finishing and concentrating. Well knowing online schooling hasn't been easy for any child now that my child is forced to sit for hours on his computer makes it that much worse. Mr. Morrison knowing my child has ADHD has had no patience not only for my child but for many other students in his class and I am able to say this because I have witnessed him myself yelling and being extremely rude to the other children with no remorse!!!!! He's even went to the extent of making one of the little girls in his class cry. It has made me so angry with many attempts to give him chances but I've gotten to the point where I am now obligated to change my child's school where they will give him respect and the extra attention for his needs. I would however challenge anyone to find a Christian among the staff, clientele, and teachers. In particular, it was found out that a teacher had been practicing a pagan ritual during the Halloween season. She had additionally invited the children and a few parents to participate (i.e. burning candles and making offerings to the dead). When "called out" about this ritual, the staff and teacher made "life very difficult" to put it mildly. This is simply one of many occurrences. Before enrolling, please do your "homework" and ask around the community. There are other options, as far as Christian schools.

My oldest started at Soar in second grade, and graduated from Soar 4 years ago. I previously had…read morehim in a regular public school and I felt his education was being greatly neglected. I saw a vast difference in my child once he started at soar - he became a much more outgoing child and his grades skyrocketed. My youngest has been at soar since kindergarten and is now in 8th grade, his grades are awesome and he never wants to miss school (he's really hoping for perfect attendance this year). I have referred friends, coworkers and family to soar. My co-worker moved her daughter to soar for her 7th grade year this year and said that she has also seen such a dramatic difference in her daughter's grades as well as her attitude. I 100% recommend SOAR if you're looking for a place for your child to thrive!

My husband and I made the tough decision to move our toddler from the daycare he had known since he…read morewas 6 months old to Monty's Montessori. We noticed at the last daycare, he would come home irritable have excessive rashes, dirty, along with staff communication issues, screaming at drop off, dirty/broken equipment, and so many other issues. Immediately at Monty's, we noticed a difference. The teachers are very clear, caring, and sincere. The equipment is so well maintained and shared well with classmates. Now both of my sons attend Monty's and my toddler sprints to class every morning. My infant is always smiling when he sees his teachers and both classrooms have great communication. Any questions or concerns we had out of curiosity has been answered by the front office and everyone has been extremely polite. We love how engaged the staff is with the families and how receptive our kids have responded to the changes. Our only regret is not having moved our toddler sooner and to join the Monty family years ago!

(director jaimie & office secretary angelina) we had been previously pulled into the office and accused of non payment of an obscure amounts of $ equaling multiple weeks of tuition (total of $3,189) though upon back checking bank statements i was able to provide proof of not only all completed payments but multiple overcharges aswell, when provided with all of these documents ( backdated to our 1stday of registration up to current day) we were immediately met with not only hostility but a huge lack of accountability from the office staff as to where the miscommunication and or differentiating amounts had stemmed from as all childrens accounts must be enrolled through autopay upon registration through the brightwheel app. we were never given an explanation as to why we were ever overcharged and had to communicate with office staff in order to resolve all over payment issues also. following this incident not only we were continuously met with hostility from montys staff, but multiple times our kindergartener over heard private conversations pertaining to said issues being discussed openly and loudly between school staff aswell as mrs. jaimies husband. ( who turns out is not a listed employee of school, despite being on campus consistently) upon submitting our kindergartners 2 week notice (postdated for Dr.Lisa Gilfillan) we were immediately met with texts / messages from both angelina and jaimie pertaining to details stated specifically in notice. all accounts had again since been confirmed as paid and up to date, all bank statements were mailed and received, though just two days prior to our daughters last day with montys we were notified via email that if we did not submit the final payment amounts in cash / in office they would then withhold our daughters kindergarten academic records. following this email i again messaged, emailed and mailed all bank statements and proof of payment from brightwheel to montys academy aswell as dr. lisa gilfillan to which we recieved zero responses. go charter, go homeschool, go elsewhere! entire experience has been rather unfortunate as we had very high hopes for both montys and the staff.
