Use this as a last stitch effort if you qualify and need affordable daycare. They dont teach the…read morekids anything. The kids fight with each other and the teachers don't intervene. Some kids dont get to eat because breakfast because they are upset that mom or dad left and the teachers just let them go without eating until the next meal. 3 year olds are allowed to spray each other down with water at recess and wet the kids that don't want to be wet resulting in tears, but the teachers pay no mind and continue chatting and taking their breaks. I was a parent volunteer, so I saw all this first hand. We had a boy bite another in our class with no incident report and literally the teachers said to each other in Spanish "did you see it happen?" The other teacher responded (in Spanish as well "No, so I guess it didn't happen". I was irate, that deserved a phone call to the parents imo! Not a good environment if you want a "head start" for your children!

This school can be great! I see the potential with staff. They are lacking with culture and…read moreinclusivity from the staff to the holidays they choose to celebrate. Hispanic heritage month, nothing...Asian ... African American... it's like they hired one specific type of teacher(not cultural diverse and no men hired or younger staff). Crocs day is fun I would love to see more inclusivity. This may help the many children who come from homes where only there race was celebrated. This may stop bullying and inappropriate racial slurs as well. I do love the extra events that they have to work on skills like soccer, choir, college prep etc. Banning and Beaumont is growing and I truly hope they find a way to connect with students, get to know all the students names and even parents names. Have more parents present for activities. Kids do well when they feel like they are close to school staff. Most kids can come here for years and not many know their names. During break and lunch, more staff prescience would be a good way to really watch what's going on with kids who are cruel to other kids. I have hope that it will get better because they are really trying and some of the teachers are so sweet and care but they are swamped. I have high hopes!

My son who was 7 at the time was repeatedly attacked by 3 older students…read more Started with a slap to the back of the head and gradually moved to two kids holding my son while one would punch him in the stomach, face and kick him in the nuts. Then one day I picked him up and the whole side of his face was swollen as they stomped on his face at recess. No call. No nothing. After an urgent care visit it was found that my son had a concussion and broken ribs. After I made a scene at the school about the incident. The principal Mr Hudek and VP Mrs Connelly then began retaliating against my son. I received 6 calls within 2 weeks from the VP. With stupid things like your son is making fart noises in class. They don't call when your son gets a concussion but if you make fart noises your done. I removed my kids from the district. Since then I have discovered 4 other families that these same boys are attacking. Avoid this whole district if you can!
