My two boys have been at this center for 10 months. This was their first experience at a daycare/…read moreschool. The transition was emotional and very difficult for all of us. However, the teachers at this Kinder location have been so helpful. The kinder app is updated throughout the day and has eased my stress greatly. I can check in and see what my babies are doing at any time of the day. My kids are so happy at pick up and tell me all of the activities they did for the day. The most important piece for me is that the teachers have been so communicative. They're so attentive to my kids' feelings and growing phases. I have had a great experience with the center's director, Ms. Alyssa as well as the receptionist, Ms. Sarah. Initially I had so many questions. we were new to daycare, new to the area, and we are not from the state. We weren't sure of what we needed to make the transition for our children the smoothest. Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Sarah readily answered all of my random questions and helped us at each step. Lastly, I absolutely love that each month there are fun activities for the kids to participate in; ie, holiday parties, center celebrations, dress up days, Disney days. I would recommend this center to other parents. My babies are safe, happy, and are properly cared for.

I do not recommend this childcare facility to absolutely anyone with small children. Due to our…read moredire need of childcare as full-time working parents, I was desperate to find a local daycare as we are new residents of the city. Our daughters were only enrolled for 4 short months. In those months, we've experienced a poorly ran facility, stressed out "teachers" and child neglect. The 2 year old room consistently smelled like toddler poop from the moment of drop off to the moment of pick up. The teachers are unwelcoming and most seem to have no desire to be there. I would name drop but THEY know who they are. They put on their phone and have all of the little kids surrounding the phone watching CocoMelon. If i wanted my kids on a tablet or a phone, trust me I'd keep them home. I never saw youtube kids under their curriculum schedule. Next time please mention that during the TOUR. Our LAST and FINAL straw at this horrendous facility was when my partner picked up my 4 year old around 445pm. She was sitting, isolated on a chair because she had soiled her clothing during her naptime. Nobody bothered to give us a call and she had woken up from her nap around 2pm so HOURS had passed before we even got to pick her up. The following day when we went to unenroll the girls and talk with the director. She was very rude, unapologetic and kept reiterating that she wasn't there yesterday etc. Surely, they have policies and protocols in place when accidents like this happen. Nobody gave us a courtesy call and ALLL the teachers knew about her accident during nap time. They kept saying they support us and they understand and it was messed up that no one gave us a call and just had my daughter sitting, isolated for hours. Because of this, my child feels humiliated and is ultimately traumatized at the experience and behavior of these adults. I am appalled at the way they treated my child. I emailed corporate about it. I would not recommend this place EVEN if you're desperate. I promise there are better options out there.

I would really like to give more stars but let alone just on this person is the reason I'm giving…read moreone star!! Very condescending very rude!! Don't tell me how to drive until I am on the school premises. You are inside the parking lot if you want to tell people what to do then maybe you should be cross guard and be outside of the school on the street directing the cars if you're not, please refrain from telling me you're the boss When clearly you're not the one driving out in the street with other drivers whom you have to look out for and be careful because we are on street where there is a School so before you are the boss of anything I have to mind the driving laws!! Also you shouldn't be so rude to a parent when they are not aware of the pick up line mind you that every time I do go in the pick up line there are two lines from different directions but now you wanna tell me, there's only one very confusing. Please learn to speak to people, Mrs. Flores.!!!!!!! Let alone on this. I just want to change my child's school on this experience alone because she says she's the boss of the parking lot which I was not in the parking lot to begin with. Are these the people that are modeling our children that go to the school because if so I am very disappointed. This is not the way we address any human being and if you are the boss of the parking lot good for you congratulations you do you in the parking lot not out on the street!!! Not very welcoming and last time I checked I'm an adult a human being just like you lady Flores!!! Speak how you wish to be spoken to because I am not the one! God bless and have a great weekend!! Maybe you should wear a sign that goes from the front to the back with directions that we can read and maybe you should stand outside on the sidewalk by the street or maybe you can't because you wouldn't be the boss of that because it's public!!! next time, choose your words wisely with parents and your attitude because I will treat you how you treat me. I do not care for rude condescending adult!! adults that like to be little other people and if I find out that you speak to the children that way, that condescending tone that you used with me I will make sure you are not the boss of that parking lot ever again!!! Byeeeeee!!!

Since then, I've toured many school campuses to enroll her, and I can confidently say that VPS offers an exceptional academic program along with outstanding after-school options. One thing that really stood out to me was the weekly presentations my daughter did. I believe they were based on alphabet items, though I may be mistaken. Regardless, these presentations were wonderful for building confidence and public-speaking skills at an early age. The homework reinforced what the children learned in class, and the at-home projects helped them feel proud and capable just like the "big kids." The after-school programs are excellent. My daughter did imagination station, sprout and blossom, violin lessons, and homework club. It provides strong academic structure while also teaching manners, confidence, and responsibility. The staff is wonderful and truly knows every child. The only downside I experienced was when I requested a transcript for my child while applying to a new schools. I was told that transcripts were not available for those grades. I had asked if they could write a letter indicating they don't have transcripts or to create in for me but neither was done. After that, communication seemed to drop off, and it felt as though we were no longer a priority once we had left the school. Overall, I would still recommend VPS without hesitation. The tuition is also very reasonable for an IB and private school. I truly wish we could return to VPS or find another school just like it.

Whenever you see someone in their element and enjoying themselves it's almost as though you are watching art being created! These teachers have an art of teaching that resonates with the young ones! I am so thankful that we were recommended by another mom to start our children in this school! This is the best program I have found through my research. A brick-and-mortem school is the old way of doing things in my opinion as this virtual learning and homeschooling seems to streamline the experience and waste less time. I tell everyone I know to try this out and every time they end up staying!

Staff is rude and treat parents as if they are a problem and bother to them. I was snapped at by a staff member when checking on the progress of my student's application. What this school does not understand is that we (as parents) are trying to plan for OUR students education and if our student is not admitted and enrolled then we do not want to wait until the last minute to find options. COMMUNICATION from this school is very, very poor even after they collect all of your personal documents. I am hoping someone in school administration see's this review and addresses the very poor attitude in the Registrar's office
