Indoor and outdoor seating options at this lovely establishment! Terrific vibe, unique menu, and super staff. :) We chose to dine outside as part of my Mother's Day celebration. I can't remember his name, but we had the most fabulous server. My younger daughter got the waffle and my older daughter and myself chose the French toast. LOVE the French toast! I will definitely be back!
I think this is my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the area! It's a small space inside but we had no trouble getting a table for two on a Saturday morning. The service was quick and friendly. Their menu is fantastic! Super unique with all sorts of cool fusion dishes. I got the Big Bad Wolf (waffle with pork belly, candied bacon) and my wife got the West Indies Omelette. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted great. They also have a bunch of cocktails and breakfast drinks which we didn't try today, but will next time for sure. We will definitely be back for the rest of the menu!
Food was excellent!! I loved the breakfast poutine and my street tacos. Also had an iced coffee that was good too. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly. It doesn't look like there's a way to make reservations online, so for a Sunday brunch that was great.
Yuca needs more attention! I was most impressed with the high quality ingredients, great service, and stunning features. Absolutely love the design! I popped in by myself for a quick bite, hoping to read a few pages in my book. Although it's not the coziest spot for reading, whoever styled Yuca killed it. The poutine was so good but had a bit more kick than I would've preferred. This is a me problem, not a Yuca problem. Even with the spicy jalapeños, I would order this again! 10 out of 10, do recommend.
This is my second time coming to Yuca for brunch. I love how bright it is inside! I came in around 10 am and there was no wait time. I ordered the Fajita Greens, which I didn't have high expectations for because well salads for brunch is not my go to. The server asked me how I wanted my steak, and I was pleasantly surprised (Usually restaurants just have a default for the steak in a salad). The salad itself was great! The tortilla strips gave a nice crunch; the dressing was light and flavorful; and the steak was nicely cooked. I paired it with a mimosa. (You can also choose to get just a bottle of Prosecco with juice for $30). I was left feeling full, but not overly full where I would need a nap. On Sundays, the restaurant hands out flowers to the females! This is a nice little touch. If you like tequila, they have a vault, which opens up and you can see the tequila they have. It's a solid brunch in my opinion.
Very happy that we tried Yuca! I had confused it with Cedar but realized once we arrived in Bellevue that this was not the place we had visited before. We walked in around 12pm and were seated immediately. With it being a smaller / downtown size restaurant I thought there'd surely be a wait. I ordered a cocktail. The espresso one with coconut... I can't remember the name. It was delicious and not too sweet. I was stuck between the French toast and the Cubano but I took our server's advice and went for the Cubano. The sauce had a little kick, which was different and appreciated. The fries are insanely good. My husband ordered the Argentinean filet and eggs. He ordered the steak medium rare, which was spot on but his over easy eggs came out over hard. Our server brought out and order or over easy eggs and comped them. He said that without the yolk the dish was pretty dry but with it, it was quite good. Service was superb. I really appreciated her recommendations and willingness to correct the mistake.
Love this place in Bellevue Ky. The food is excellent and the service is great. We had a Cuban sandwich. Really good. Come in and have breakfast or lunch all day. Small lot and street parking.
12/6/24. Absolutely phenomenal first experience at Yuca. Perfect location in the local shopping district in Bellevue. The Chimi Chimi breakfast burrito might be the best I've ever had. Definitely will come back to try some of their cocktails as well.
A friend and I stopped by for brunch on Sunday. We lucked out with walking in and getting a table right away at 11:30 Yuca is located in a former bank, lots of natural light, which was coming in thanks to a sunny day. Almost drink and food menu. It was so hard to pick what we wanted to eat. We did start with.4 Amigos tapa The chips are made fresh and came out, warm, and the salsa, guacamole & queso was so good. My friend went with the biscuit bowl. She said was really good and I ended up with the fat Zach I also enjoyed the margarita beer combo Redneck Margarita I definitely will be back to try more of their wonderful food and also great service The one item my friend commented is they definitely need some type of sound panels, it was very loud in the space & hard for her to hear for us to have a conversation it was also very busy.
Whoa! What an incredible experience! I love brunch. And i have been trying to hit Yuca for a while. Finally the stars aligned and i was able to make it over to dayton ky for brunch. It was so good! Coming in the door the space looks open, bright, sunny, and, clean. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. We sat at the bar and the waitstaff and bartender were super friendly and open to all questions. The menu is latin inspired breakfast and lunch. There are multiple Gluten free offerings which is listed on the menu. Yuca only serves breakfast and lunch, they do not do dinner. I started with a couple mimosas. They were delicious a little sweet, but very good. Everything on the menu looked delicious, food and drinks alike. For food, I had the fat zach. My girlfriend had the tacos. Both were really good. Pro tip: If you order a bloody marry i would request a pint glass. They are served in a punch glass which looks pretty, but not very functional. Net Space: 5 stars Food: 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Service: 5 stars I highly recommend yuca. It's worth fighting the bridge traffic. Yuca is perfect for a brunch with elevated feel. This not a greasy spoon. It is a great spot to meet others and have a nice brunch
It was my first time to Yuca. I love it. Heather was our server. She was so nice from picked up my called for reserved the table and took care of our group. Making me feel welcoming. Prices were a bit high if you just look on the menu. Try it!!! THEN, Yuca proved that they were more than you pay for. Food was so delicious. My favorite is Big Bad Wolf. I have to say thank for who created this menu. I think I could eat it everyday. Love it. Ambiance was cozy and in style. Service was great. Overall I would recommend this place and cannot wait to go back. Thanks for having us
Good service, food was enjoyable, we visited as a family but would like to return as just adults for more drinks! The only downside was a huge group (4 tables pushed together) being so loud the restaurant was unbearable and we couldn't really talk. While not explicitly the restaurants fault that this group was so loud, maybe in such a small space they shouldn't allow large groups to push tables together?
What a snazzy restaurant! I was in town coworking with a colleague and Cincy local. They suggested we visit Yuca for lunch so we made it happen. When we arrived we were totally surprised by the space. It's beautiful, with a ton of natural light and wooden features. When you first walk in you can see into the kitchen, which I always find really cool. Towards the back of the space is a giant vault where they display their alcohol options. It's all lit up which makes it stand out. After grabbing a seat and looking over the menu, we decided to share the shrimp tacos and their four amigos tapa plate. The shrimp tacos lunch came with four tacos and they were just the right amount for sharing. The tapas plate included their house made tortilla chips and four dips (a red salsa, a green salsa, guacamole, and a ghost pepper salsa). The tacos were flavorful and you could tell everything was fresh. I will give a friendly warning that the ghost pepper salsa was more than we could bear. And we like spicy food so it's not for the faint of heart. The ambiance was lovely, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was solid. I will say that the food menu is small, but they have a hefty drink menu, including spiked coffee. I have to imagine the weekend brunch there has gotta be a vibe. I would definitely come back.

3.5 rating. Verdict: 3.5 rating. The Bloody Mary and appetizer was great. Service pretty good. The meal was average. I got steak & eggs and they over cooked everything. Ugh. My husbands choice was mediocre too. He got a Cubano. My friend loved her burger. But she was so buzzed from the over pour of vodka in her Bloody Mary - so take that into consideration. Everything was cooked from scratch which was nice. I'll try one more time. We can go if you guys like. It's cute. read more

Yuca is in a gorgeous space in downtown Bellevue. The space is pretty small but there's tons of natural light plus there's bar seating and outdoor seating available. All of the brunch cocktails looked delicious and our party was very pleased with the food entrees. The reason for 4 stars is that our service was not great, and we waited over 45 minutes for the food to come out. We were surprised since the restaurant wasn't that crowded while we were there. After we finally ate, it took an additional 15 minutes to get the waiter's attention to get our checks and pay. Overall, I would recommend the food at Yuca, but I would not go here if you are on a time crunch. read more

Yuca is another phenomenal restaurant by the owners of Cedar. I knew what I was getting into when I found out the two were connected, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was so welcoming and kind. We were immediately seated and given impeccable service. My mom and I received flowers on the Sunday that we went, which I thought was a charming addition to the experience. The menu is on the small side, but it encompasses so much. I got the carnitas quesadilla, which was amazing! The meat was tender and the flavor was incredible. My mom got the Omelet Escobar and she enjoyed it as well. We shared the guacamole and ghost pepper queso. The guac was great and the ghost pepper was insanely spicy. I couldn't take the heat but my mom loved it! It was a great experience and I will be returning often. read more
Bellevue is so lucky to have Yuca! I went on a Saturday daytime and we were able to be seated right away. We started off with some poutine for the table. I really enjoyed the flavor of this because it had a good spicy flavor. For my entree I decided on the ceviche and it did not disappoint! The tostados were crunchy, and the ceviche was fresh. I always recommend a side of candied bacon-best side on the menu! If you love brunch food, but are looking for a twist on the classics, check out Yuca! read more

Great selection of food. I had the tacos and could pick a different meat for each. They were just enough for brunch/lunch. Will be back for sure read more
Brunch just might be my favorite part of the weekend and at Yuca, you can enjoy brunch almost every day of the week (besides Mondays). A menu with a Latin flare and so many tasty sounding dishes. I opted for The Fat Zach which is scrambled egg, chorizo and chicken inside a house made corn gordita topped with crema, pineapple pico. Served with chipotle honey potatoes, cilantro, avocado. Super full of flavor, but also on the spicier side. The server said that most of the dishes tend to be spicy so keep that in mind when ordering. Super fun spot, great staff, great interior, highly recommend. read more
#1 brunch spot in the Midwest!!! Nothing better unless you're in New Orleans. Jeremy Faith is one of Greater Cincinnati's new "Top 10 Restauranteurs." He hires well, designs kick ass menus and even the Best bloody Mary mix in Cincinnati. My wife is the tough customer and she was blown away. Beautiful environment. Seating is functional but it is the only thing that comes close to being a weakness. My wife would ding a place if it had bad water but everything is good here. Team member TJ acts like he owns the place, and that's a big compliment. read more

Stopped in on opening day. It wasn't crowded and I was seated immediately. There is no host stand, but the serving staff seems vigilant about greeting folks walking in and welcoming you. I love their slogan, which hangs above the visible kitchen as soon as you enter. "One-hour lunch vacations from scratch with a Latin twist." My server, Yolanda, brought me a big glass bottle of water, with an interesting topper that I needed instructions on how to open. This is about my inability to figure out puzzles more than the design of the "oh duh" mechanism. I am a very picky eater, but there were several items on the menu that I thought sounded pleasing to my palate. I settled on the Cubano Sandwich. From the menu: shredded pork shoulder, crispy pork belly, Monterey Jack cheese, chipotle mustard, house pickles, and yuca fries. I asked for mine without the pickles and with the mustard on the side. It came out hot and fresh (there are no freezers or microwaves on-site!) and I dove right in. I could have eaten it with the mustard on the sandwich, and will next time. There's a bit of a kick, but not a long-lasting one. It's flavorful. The fries, which are hand-cut like you'd get somewhere like Penn Station, but with a latin-infused seasoning were awesome and I could have eaten them all day. I also had a Coke, which came from the bar - and you know how when you get a Coke from the bar it always tastes on the flatter side? Yeah. I hate that. Small detail, small complaint. I am excited to go back and try some of the breakfast options or the Chilaquiles Burger, which has green salsa, chilaquiles, sunny egg, and chili lime mayo. I might even be brave and try it as it comes (but probably without the egg.) Best news - the restaurant is about two blocks from my home and is a great addition to the long list of amazing eateries along Fairfield Avenue in Bellvue. I'm so thrilled they are finally open! read more

We have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Yuca and it surpassed our expectations. We started off with the poutine and even though it was quite spicy the flavor profile was so good. Our drinks- the Yucalada and Day of the Dead were both exceptional. The Day of the Dead also comes with a Modelo Negro. For my entreé, I got the Fat Zach. It was soo delicious. The corn Gordita, potatoes, avocado and more made a delicious dish. We loved the decor as well- it is a renovated bank. My favorite part was the bar inside the old vault! read more

This place was great! Went here on a Saturday late morning with some friends and it was casual but delicious. The bloody Mary's were great, and food all looked excellent. Everyone had something different and everyone was impressed. I had the hangover and it was great! Also super thankful for the great service. We walked out and I didn't even realize I had forgotten my hat and gloves and one of the employees ran them out in the cold. Could not appreciate that more. Rockstar service! read more

Loved this place!! I went on a Tuesday and was able to sit right away, they're usually super busy on weekends but weekdays you could sit for hours! Food was truly top notch, so refreshing. I had the hangover and for something that I thought would be super greasy, cause of the name, was so fresh and tasty. My friend got the avocado toast which was spiced up some and a hybrid of that and guacamole, she raved about it. As always I got a coffee and that too was delish. Will absolutely return! read more
