Walked here from my hotel around the corner. Our waitress was very nice and understanding as I didn't know what I wanted while my friend ordered their food. The cucumbers were delicious! My ramen (beef I believe) was piping hot and so flavorful. I chose to add chili oil myself to try and control the spice level. Worked out perfectly. I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area again.

I had the spicy wontons, scallion pancakes, and chicken soup dumplings. All was really good. I was a little surprised that there were so few soup dumpling options - 5 or so - given that they advertised as a soup dumpling restaurant. But they were super tasty. Lots of vegetarian options but no vegetarian soup dumplings fyi. The check comes with a sticker that they prefer cash tips and the server laid the check down and pointed to that. Strange. But I had cash and was happy to oblige since she made it awkward. Very tasty food - I'll be going back for sure.

Service 4/5 The service here was great. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The food didn't take too long to come out, and the finished plates were cleared pretty quickly. The water also had slices of cucumbers which was a nice touch. We came during lunch which does get pretty busy. It was a little difficult to get a hold of our waitress at times because of how busy she was, but besides that, she was pretty attentive and quick. Ambiance 4.5/5 There's a lot of natural lighting from the big windows at the entrance which I really liked. The inside is big and there's plenty of seating. The decor on the walls depicting China and tasty food set a good atmosphere. The seats were comfy and the tables were big enough for multiple dishes. They also have outdoor seating. Mango Smoothie ($5) 4/5 The mango smoothie was sweet and tasted so fresh. It was the prefect consistency and wasn't too thick or watery. It was the perfect drink to pair with the hot and savory noodle soup. Peppercorn Spicy Soup Dumplings ($12) 3.5/5 The soup dumplings were a nice, shareable appetizer. Pro tip: make a little hole and put some ginger and vinegar in the dumpling to make it extra tasty. The skin held together pretty well and the meat inside was soft and tender. The soup inside was good and there was a slight hint of heat. Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup ($15) 4/5 This came out nice and hot and I really enjoyed this, especially having this in winter. The beef was soft and chewy and the noodles had a nice firmness and were well cooked. The broth had a nice flavor with a bit of spiciness. The veggies tasted fresh and contrasted well with a good, crunchy texture and some sourness that I really liked. Mango Pomelo Sago ($8) 4/5 This was the perfect dessert to top off the meal. The Mango and pomelo were so fresh and tasty. The mango had a good texture and was chewy and there was a faint hint of bitterness from the pomelo. The sago was soft and chewy and I really liked the coconutty, creamy taste. The sweetness was not overpowering and the cold from the dessert was like a break from the hot soup earlier.

We came here because we were in the mood for some noodles, but something different than what we usually get. I think Yu Noodles will be in our rotation of places to eat now. They have dishes, and it's not like it's a lot of noodles, but it's affordable and they also have different types of xiao long bao that keep it interesting. I do have to say that their XLB' wrapper is a bit thick, but I thought it wasn't bad considering that they offer it. I got the beef noodle, and I enjoyed it. I really don't have any negative side about it. This location is a neighborhood type of restaurant. It's right next to the apartments, and next to a Safeway. It literally has the building blocks of a neighborhood food spot and I like that. Come here if you live in the area. Get a nice hot bowl of soup and noodles and be satisfied!

I had the sichuan beef noodles, which were delicious. If I could change anything, it would be to add more beef. But you can't argue at the amazing price point!

THE BIG: Located in Tysons Corner, tucked away in the shopping center with a Safeway right off of Anderson Rd. Plenty of seating inside and parking lot available with plenty of space. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wfie and I came here with a couple of friends to soak up some noodles and dumplings. Ordering was fast and getting our food was ultra fast. I think they have a good system h ere. We got the Spicy oil wontons, pan fried pork bun, pork soup dumpling, peppercorn spicy soup dumpling, shrim & pork dumpling, yibin noodle, porkchop over rice, and beef noodle soup. Tbh everything was pretty good, didn't have any faults with the items. Kudos for extra speed. THE FINAL BAMBOO: The damage done here was around $126 for everything. Pretty great for very fast service and delicioius noods on a brisk fall evening.

Very quick service at Yu Noodles in Tysons! I came with 4 friends in a Sunday evening. There were only a few people in the restaurant. The servers quickly took our order and food came out FAST. I loved the spicy wontons and pan fried buns. I also thought the pork and peppercorn pork dumplings were delicious and full of flavor. I would skip on the pork and shrimp dumplings. The filling was overcooked and no soup inside. We also ordered a bunch of noodle dishes, but they weren't my favorite. Overall - great place for a quick bite!

Yu noodles is such a homey local mom and pop casual spot to go to. We got the: Crystal Shrimp dumplings Steamed Pork Buns Hot & Sour Foon Pork soup dumplings All of them were really good! You do need to ask for soy sauce if you need it, but they had black vinegar and other condiments on the table. Also, we liked the dim sum, but it's not going to match the profile of if you went to Hong Kong style dim sum because it is a different region of cuisine. Overall, great experience and loves at how fast and attentive the servers were. I will definitely be back, especially for those hot and sour noodles.

Somehow they seem to get better and better. I'm a big fan of their garlic cucumber appetizer and intestine soup. Beef tendon is a must. And even though pricey. Get and share the coconut sago dessert. Skip the soup dumpling.

Located in a pretty quiet shopping center it almost feels like finding a hidden gem. My cousin and I stopped by on a whim because we quickly browsed their menu online and saw that they had soup dumplings. Everything we ordered was actually fantastic. We got the plain pork soup dumplings, N5 Yibin Spicy Dry Noodle with minced pork, and spicy oil pork wontons. All the things we ordered were good in their own ways but they all had an immense amount of flavor. Anything labelled spicy was not actually too spicy and could be adjusted with the chili at the table. The Yibin spicy noodles are a pretty big portion that could be shared if you plan on getting a bunch of other appetizers. The ladies working here are friendly and service is fast.

    Diana S.

I went with a group of friends and we got a variety of different things. I got the N9 Hot and Sour Foon with Minced Pork and it was not nearly as spicy as it looks and tasted pretty good. The Yibin noodles (felt like spicy Asian bolognese) were much more spicy. The Sichuan beef noodles were not mouth-numbing. And the brisket golden noodles had a different taste (not sure I liked it). I felt the menu didn't provide enough info as to what was in each dish. The soup dumplings of course are a must. Service was fast. The restaurant was clean. I would recommend.

    Casey Lyn B.

Boo thang was having his dumpling cravings and I heard about this spot. They're invasively fast (not for sure if that is a good thing, but at least we got our food very fast lol). I love how the restaurant architecture fit the culture. We ordered a bunch of dumplings, side dishes of veggies. I believe the cravings were satisfied. I love how there is a variety to choose from and service was very quick. Will definitely come back!

Good food at great prices! The chongqing noodles were very flavorful but not as spicy as they could have been. The soup dumplings with pork were pretty good too!

For the entree, I ordered the Ka Prow with Fried Egg, which was truly delicious and spicy. We also ordered the waffles with chicken and smoked salmon with a poached egg. They were out of the honey IPA roll, but substituted it with sourdough. All around, all the food was delicious. The chicken that came with the pancake was a little bland, otherwise good. Sat on higher chairs (given option for lower chairs/table or higher). The place was very busy for a Sunday evening. We waited almost 5 minutes before our server came by. I was counting down the seconds til we were going to leave. We ordered the Thai chicken fried rice & Chicken Drunken Noodle as usual to sample if this place is legit in our eyes & mouths. After 8 minutes, our food came out hot in large flat bottomed bowls. The portions seemed reasonable. The chicken fried rice had several pieces of white meat chicken, scrambled eggs & nice assortment of veggies. The smell & taste test passed with good amount of wok hei in every bite. My son finished 99% of it. He gave it a 10! My medium spicy chicken drunken noodles had a good amount of heat and very good portion. The Thai flavors of hot, sweet & salty were all there. Ordered the spice tray for more heat & added vinegar-chili for that sour kick to cut through the rich flavors of the noodles. Only problem was that some of the chicken pieces were overcooked and hard & plastic-like. Not ideal but better than undercooked. 8/10 Overall, service was okay but the food was very good! Good enough to come back again.

For the uninitiated, abura soba is a brothless ramen where the magic happens at the bottom of the bowl. A savory aromatic oil and tare base sit beneath springy, chewy noodles, topped with a silky poached egg and classic ramen accoutrements. The key is to mix thoroughly -- really commit -- until the egg emulsifies with the oil and sauce, coating every strand in glossy, umami-packed richness. The texture is the standout. The noodles have a satisfying chew that holds up against the weight of the oil without becoming heavy. It's indulgent but not cloying. The customization element elevates the experience: a drizzle of chili oil adds warmth and depth, while a splash of vinegar cuts through the richness with bright acidity. Dial it in to your preference and the bowl transforms in real time. If you're a fan of Chinese scallion oil noodles or Korean jajangmyeon, you'll recognize the comfort-food DNA here -- but abura soba feels more refined and layered. The flavor is concentrated, savory, and deeply satisfying without relying on broth. This is the kind of spot that knows exactly what it is and executes with confidence. A refreshing change from the ramen norm and absolutely worth the visit. Bonus points for the casual kid friendly atmosphere and also offering traditional soup ramen and donburi for less adventurous dining companions.

The hot and sour noodle soup is as advertised - just enough spice to complement the sour, but not overwhelm to make it feel like mala. It's served, as expected, with glass noodles, some bak choi, and some pork slices. Nothing spectacular but par for the course. The sichuan beef noodle foon soup was slight notch better. The broth gives really warm vibe and you can tell it's been brothing for a long time. Again just the right amount of spicy to make you keep slurping for more. Soup dumplings were fantastic, however. The pork definitely has its own marinade and the soup is flavorful.
