I informed him of a DNA sequencing diagnostic clinic in Lubbock, Texas . I spoke to the doctors' medical director out there & they explained that they have researched resistant bacteria with bacteriophages one of two clinics in the world . They opened a DNA sequencing clinic to better identify pathogens. I have been fighting an infection in my nose for over two years since my last cosmetic procedure. I was referred to Dr Currasco by my cosmetic surgeon and Dr Currasco has been amazing in that he also embraces holistic approaches to healing. He even contacted this clinic for diagnostic kits. I did have an unpleasant interaction with one of his staff, who was having an off day (perhaps I was also?) it took me over a week to get medicine Dr Currasco had prescribed because she wasn't following up with the pharmacist phone calls.. meanwhile I trust Dr Currasco and I feel at the appropriate time he'll refer me to an infectious disease specialist, if required. It was pretty easy to schedule an appointment, went in and it seems to be clean. They seemed extremely slow and they were nice upon arrival. I sat for a moment while they chatted at the desk and then Christine took me back. She asked what was looking to get done and I explained and showed her that I wanted the area between my eyes (scrunched/angry look) to be gone and I typically get 20 units of botox. She insisted that I should add 10 more units to soften up my forehead. I told her that the 20 units at my previous place (Skinspirit) uses 20 and does it all. She said that no way and needed 30. I just said sure and we got to it. She cleaned my forehead and had me make expressions to ensure she saw where she needed to treat. Poke, poke, poke and done! I went out and went to the checkout. The gentleman working helped get me squared away. I did ask for my receipt and he said that he would email it....NEVER received it. They had no one but me in salon, and a man walked in while I was walking out but it seemed to be such a rushed process. Especially once I didn't seem interested in their monthly $139 program. A week later and the botox has settled. My forehead is good to go, but the ONE area that I requested to be treated IS NOT. I noticed this days before the week came up but wanted to give it time. I called and was told that I had to not got the dosing right and need more. WHAT A JOKE! I was told that they could get me in today but I needed to pay for the units for the only spot I asked to be treated. He continued to say that I must've needed more and ultimately trying to blame me. He kept offering the 4:45 time and I told him that I would not be coming in to pay for something that I specifically asked to be treated for on my first appointment and it was the esthetician error. Please all STEER CLEAR and go to Skinspirit in downtown Austin and book Cece Davis! This was an expensive ($320) lesson and I will NEVER be back to this spa.

She's nice and has great reviews for…read more*certain procedures* but she totally botched my lip lift and did nothing but take my money for my upper eye bleph. Not only was her work way too conservative (as in you can't tell a difference), I now have a scar under my nose. That scar is the only noticeable difference in my face after spending thousands and dealing with the pain of the procedure and recovery process. I wish I had never gone to her. Another facial plastic surgeon reviewed her work and told me because of my eye structure I was never a good candidate for an upper bleph and Dr. Saxon should've told me that instead of taking my money and cutting me open for no reason. I'll post before and after pics and you can see (note that in the before for my eyes I had eyeliner on but no liner in the after, which may make it look like there's a minimal difference like more lid space, but there's actually not. They also zoomed in more so it looks like the photos are a little different, but they're not, there's definitely not many thousands of dollars worth of difference). No exaggeration, this will probably go down as one of the top regrets of my life (very expensive and literally the only difference is a scar on my face now) so I just feel obligated to warn others like I wish I had been warned. She's really nice, her staff is so kind, but they should've just kept my money and not given me a scar on my face (Also, again the staff was sweet as could be to me, but I know for a fact at least one of these 5 star reviews (I'm not gonna name names) is an employee who yes is also a patient but should note in her review that she works for her, so it's a bit biased)
