NOTHING has ever worked. That is until I saw Karen Laine. She knew exactly what we needed to do which was to first, change my diet and way of thinking about the food that I put into my body and how it effects my skin. No one had ever mentioned that including all of the dermatologists I had seen (in vain). After a wonderful, relaxing facial she recommended skincare products that I needed to be using for my oily skin, acne and redness as well as some vitamins/supplements. (I LOVE her products!) Within two weeks, I started to notice that I hadn't had a breakout since I had been in to see Karen. Then I started to notice that my skin wasn't oily anymore. Then I started getting compliments on my skin, which I hadn't gotten in over ten years! Also, I immediately felt like I had much more energy after I altered my diet. I really love the way Karen treats you as a client. Talking about your skincare problems can be a hard topic to discuss but she is very warm and caring. She takes the time to get to know you and your skin and genuinely wants to help you. I recently went back to see her for a light chemical peel and my skin is radiant and perfectly clear! I feel like it's a miracle but know that it's because of Karen. I highly recommend Karen Laine Skin Therapy whether it is dealing with acne, aging skin or just for a relaxing facial. She is amazing!!

Very disappointing experience and poor customer service…read more I arrived for a massage and facial and there was no one from Blair House Inn on the property to greet me or assist me. I was essentially left to figure out where I needed to go on my own. When I was finished, I was trying to find someone to pay and take care of the billing, and that is when a man who happened to be there offered me his phone. He called the inn, and only then was I able to reach someone regarding the billing. Upon booking, I had specifically asked what my gift certificate included and was told a massage and facial. I did not ask for an upgrade at any point. Despite this, Blair House Inn charged my card anyway without my consent whdisputed the charge. What made this even worse was how they handled it afterward. They didn't answer my calls, and they "read" my text messages without responding, yet they have chosen to respond publicly to my reviews. My issue was never with the massage therapist or esthetician. It was with management and how this situation was handled. For a property at this price point, I expected basic hospitality, communication and transparency. I did not receive them and instead got charged for something I never even asked for.
