This is the first chiropractor I've visited, so there was a high degree of anxiety about how good/effective they would be. Where have they been all my life! This business really set a high bar. My son plays sports in school and started to have some issues with his knee. Before going to a doctor, we decided to try a local Chiropractor and I think it was the best decision - EVER. Setting up an appointment was very easy. Receptionist nailed the customer service and was able to fit us in as he had some games coming up. Since then, he has almost become a regular between his knee and ankle. Each time he gets beat up - they tune him up, give him pointers, take exceptional care of his running gear and get him going again. Beyond the great work that the Maxwell's do, what really showed their customer services is that my son is never rushed. Whether there are a ton of patients waiting or almost none, my son is never rushed and they do quality care the entire time. It's not surprising that I hear many other parents or school athletes rave about how they help out the kiddos. Since there are more adults there than students, I'm sure that they do just as fine an effort with the older crowd. A Journey to Healing: My Experience with Maximum Wellness Chiropractic In April 2022, I underwent an SI joint fusion surgery, and soon after, I experienced a new and debilitating pain in a different area. At my two-week follow-up, I informed my surgeon about this pain, but it was dismissed as "too soon after surgery." The same response came at my four-week follow-up and subsequent visits. Over the next several months, I saw this surgeon 22 times, with no resolution. Despite trying injections, nerve ablations, and a spinal cord implant--which only made things worse the pain persisted. Desperate, I sought a second opinion. A new surgeon suspected the original surgery might have gone too far, potentially backing out one of the fusion bars, but he did not specialize in revisions. The third surgeon, who claimed to be a revision expert, ultimately told me there was nothing he could do. I was referred to pain specialists for opioid treatments, which only added to my suffering. For nearly three years, I lived in constant pain, unable to sleep lying down for more than two hours at a time. My legs went numb from the knees down, and my overall quality of life deteriorated. I fell asleep at stop signs, missed out on family time, and felt hopeless. In late 2024, everything changed. Is there a better chiropractic center on planet earth? Doubtful, but I haven't been to all of them. And sadly for those others, I never will. Dr. Tony, Dr. Leslie, Dr. Abbie and all the staff at Maxwell Chiropractic are second to none. I've gone there multiple times for a few issues including severe Achilles tendon/plantar fasciitis-type pain. Dr. Leslie treated that for me, and needless to say after a relatively small number of treatments, the pain I used to experience, which often made walking or wearing shoes almost unbearable, is 100% gone and has been for almost a year since I stopped being seen for that. And Dr. Tony has done wonders for both my rotator cuffs (hazards of martial arts). But as a parent, the real story is seeing the work Dr. Abbie has done with my 13-year-old who at one time was using a wheelchair due to scoliosis and 2 herniated discs. She now only goes in once a month and has 0 symptoms and walks totally normally. Dell and Seton who seem to excel at billing, did absolutely nothing for her. But Dr. Tony ordered the x-ray and MRI and the issues were clear, and she's been 100% back to normal for months now, and the wheelchair is long gone. I personally struggle with chronic sinusitis (3 sinus surgeries in 2 years), after years of different doctors and painful struggling, I finally found a great ENT, but the headaches continued and were brutal, chronic and every day debilitating. Dr. Leslie dx me with TMJ. Not only has she helped me with an unknowing condition, but my headaches have drastically reduced. This place is more than just a Chiropractor. I had been diagnosed for a herniated disk in '97 that caused a lot of pain after working outside for even a couple of hours. I was told that there was no help for L4 and L5 disc issues. After three weeks of sessions, I have great improvement. The Maxwells sincerely want to help and treat you like family. I have been to other Chiropractors and it was 2-5 minutes, take your money and get out. You will be treated by a team and my sessions started at one hour and now are less frequent and take a half hour. They constantly ask if what they are doing is helping. Abbie is amazing at working in flexibility in the lower spine on the "brown" table. They work with your insurance and are affordable. I highly recommend them. read more

I was having unusual pain and numbness in my right hand and arm--possibly carpal tunnel. As an RN, I understood that numbness in a body part needed to be addressed asap, or permantent loss of function would result. Thinking that the problem was carpal tunnel, and therefore an easy surgical fix, I scheduled consultation appointments with Neuros and Surgeons as nec. Consults w/specialist Drs usually take 2 to 4 weeks to even get an appointment, so time was ticking on my pain and numbness problem. Unfortunately, when the surgeon consultation appointments arrived, these specialists actually disagreed on the "fix", plus each demonstrated a cavalier, brutal approach during the office exam and to the proposed surgery. When asked about possible, post op surgical outcomes from previous patients treated w/this surgery, their response was that most of their patients developed secondary problems post op. To them, I represented nothing more than a quick, financial fee for a short-surgical procedure. I had spent precious weeks waiting for the specialist consult appointments and left with a sense of anxiety about their disregard for my well-being. That's when I decided to try a different, conservative treatment approach per Dr Tony Maxwell. Getting a consult w/Dr Maxwell was within a day's time, he assessed my situation and previous test results. He understood that my problem was one that he could not fix; however, he knew how time was critical in resolving this pain and numbness issue. Dr. Maxwell became my advocate by facilitating contact with the best surgical specialist he knew. This Surgeon put me on his Consult schedule within days. I moved from a different state, where I was being seen 2-3 days a week for multiple herniated disks in my spine. I was so worried about not being able to find a chiropractor who had decompression machines and could treat my spinal issues.
