Having always been hesitant about chiropractors, I finally took the leap when running a lot seemed to always throw out my back. Yes, I don't stretch enough and I cross train but not all the areas I should. Dr. Scott is amazing and open. She will tel me what areas I need to work on, as well as get me all set back to normal. She helps with my legs and hips, etc. I do like that on your very first appointment they take an X-ray, just to make sure they know what they're dealing with. Makes me feel safer. Definitely recommend as they are friendly, have accommodating times are are really affordable, considering most insurances won't cover chiropractors. read more

Dr Stamps is a God send for me and everyone I have referred to him. I went to him after seeing the level of service and care he offered my friend. Dr Stamps is very knowledgeable, excellent communication and you can tell he really cares to help you. I read one review about having to wait. That is to be expected at times since he takes as much time as needed with each patient. One person mentioned they do not accepting insurance... I have good insurance coverage and could go to a doctor that accepts it but I would rather pay out of pocket for someone that actually helps me and cares, verses going to someone that doesn't help me or listen to my concerns. Honestly the visit fees are the same as what most people pay for a specialist copay, with insurance. They do provide super bills if you want to submit that to your insurance for reimbursement which is not hard to do. I have several things going on with my health. If could find doctors in other fields like Dr Stamps it would make my life so much easier. I am so grateful for Dr. Stamps and his entire staff for being the best at what they do. Every time I get an adjustment he relieves my pain. He has even relieved headaches that OC medication could not help. I promise you Dr. Stamps will help you and if there is something he can't address, I have personally seen him go above and beyond to point his patients in the right direction. Very busy office . Lots of services going on , massage , chiropractic, etc. There Are two separate doctors . I was referred by a friend of a friend to Dr. Stamps . There was initial assessment appointment for X-rays . Returned the following Tuesday for adjustment . I have had chiropractic care from the same person for 12 years and i have been to a few others with not so great outcome . Dr. Stamps know what he is doing ! I have scoliosis and need an adjustment on a fairly regular basis. I have used chiropractic care for my neck, back and hip misalignment for over 20 years. I recently moved to New Braunfels and found Dr Stamps and am so thankful. He uses a variety of methods and never have I left the office in pain but the opposite, free of pain. He and his office staff are thorough, kind, considerate, professional and effective. I highly recommend them. I've been seeing Dr. Perry at Perry Chiropractic, but on the recommendation of my massage therapist I thought I would try Dr. Stamps out. She said he is the best in NB and that I could really benefit from his services. I called to set up my first appointment but they don't accept insurance??? I have the best insurance plan with BCBS PPO, everyone accepts my insurance plan! I was told that they don't accept anything at all??? How could this be? Dr. Perry's office accepts insurance with no problem at all. I have had 5 other chiropractors in my life and they have all accepted insurance. This seems odd and I'm certainly not about to go through the reimbursement process on my own. I don't have any medical billing and coding knowledge, that's what I hire medical professionals for. I love Dr. Perry and I'm going to stick with him, especially after learning how Dr. Stamps runs his office. It seems to me that they want all the reward with no actual effort. Money up front and no pesky insurance companies to deal with. No risk of denials or non-payment. We all know insurance companies suck to deal with, and they love denying claims for chiropractic services (they are non-essential in their eyes), but c'mon you need to start accepting insurance. I would think it is even more important now more than ever considering that everyone is required to hold a health insurance plan at all times (thanks Obamacare). What good is having insurance if your doctor won't even attempt to use your benefits? I didn't bother to ask how much an adjustment even costs because it doesn't matter to me. Even if it is the same amount (I pay a $20 co-pay for each visit), I'm still not putting anything toward my annual deductible so I would still be losing out. I'm sure that Dr. Stamps is a good guy and does good work, but his office policies are a bit dated. The receptionist did state something about them reimbursing you at the end of the year IF you have a supplemental plan, but that seems like a lot of hassle and I'm not willing wait until the end of each year. read more
