FB spied on me and showed me an ad for Advanced Spine & Wellness close to my home and offering a great deal for new patients to the practice- just $25 for a visit + adjustment. That caught my attention, seeing as I am someone presently without medical insurance. I booked an appointment by calling the front desk, and they were able to slot me at a time not too far in advance and convenient to my schedule, which was quite relieving. My visit was approximately a month ago now. I arrived early, actually too early, because the reception area wasn't open yet, but Dr. Kevin Fluitt let me in and I used their tablet to provide some quick information beforehand. The lobby was clean and new-age-y. Kevin was conversational and engaged with me fully, listening to my symptoms and concerns, and making educated suggestions. He put me in a massage chair for fifteen minutes or so, which felt great, then gave me an individualized adjustment in a personal room. He was very good at juggling a busy schedule with multiple clients (all of them were repeat visitors, but his attention seemed most focused on me and earning my trust and building rapport, which was appreciated). Afterwards he let me know that his secretary would send along detailed instructions on stretches I could do at home that would specifically target the areas responsible for the pain I'd been experiencing to get me back to my old self. The two stretches supplied to me take about fifteen minutes and I do them morning and night. I immediately noticed an improvement in less than a week, and as of a full month, I feel completely better! I'm going to continue to do the stretches too. I'm so glad I consulted Dr. Fluitt and got his expertise on how to better take care of my back; my quality of life is significantly improved. And for only $25!! Dr. Fluitt cares about his patients, not about repeat business. However, I was told if I ever did want to come in again for massage/adjustment, it would be $50 (which isn't too unreasonable, honestly). His establishment is sandwiched between a laundromat and a pizzeria somewhat back from the freeway of Kyle. There's plenty of parking. I really recommend Dr. Fluitt. Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who previously had a terrible experience with a chiropractor! Dr. Fluitt proves they aren't all hacks.

Dr. Palm took his time to assess me, listened to my ailments and they provided a couple possible diagnoses which couldn't really be verified without more imaging, but at least he offered a plan to start working on his hypothesis. Most importantly, he used his brain. Within days, I started seeing relief and now 10 days later I am nearly without pain. My recovery is not complete, but my pain level is way down. This practice will not work unless you're committed though. It is a mix of trigger point activation and then rehab exercises that you need to do on a daily basis.
