I was essentially left to figure out where I needed to go on my own. When I was finished, I was trying to find someone to pay and take care of the billing, and that is when a man who happened to be there offered me his phone. He called the inn, and only then was I able to reach someone regarding the billing. Upon booking, I had specifically asked what my gift certificate included and was told a massage and facial. I did not ask for an upgrade at any point. Despite this, Blair House Inn charged my card anyway without my consent whdisputed the charge. What made this even worse was how they handled it afterward. They didn't answer my calls, and they "read" my text messages without responding, yet they have chosen to respond publicly to my reviews. My issue was never with the massage therapist or esthetician. It was with management and how this situation was handled. For a property at this price point, I expected basic hospitality, communication and transparency. I did not receive them and instead got charged for something I never even asked for.
