I really enjoyed trying the pizza here and think this place will be really successful judging by the crowds present there when I went. I had the southern heat pizza with ranch and substituted in green peppers for the jalapenos. The pizza was tasty and I liked the buffalo sauce they used for the base. My only complaints (which I am sure will get cleared up as they train employees and improve the customer experience) are that the process was slow and not very efficient. I could compare this place to Mod Pizza, and they seem to have the process down better. Additionally, the finished pizzas had lots of extra corn meal on them. I think they could use less so that the final pizzas aren't too dry/messy. Overall, I loved trying this place and enjoyed the diversity in what they offer! All topping are included in the $8.49 price, so load up on whatever you're craving! Pizzas are roughly 10", again they're stretched by hand, but you get 6 slices per pie. Their chopped salads are massive. Easily could be split by 2 adults for dinner, or feed 4 when served as a side salad. Just like their pies, all topping are included in the price! I absolutely looove this place!! It's the pizza version of Chipotle where you can build your own pizza or select from one of their predesigned options. The service line was super fast and efficient, the ingredients all looked fresh (they flatten out the dough in front of you!), and the pizza came out hot and in good time. Since you can pick whatever ingredients you want (it seems there's no limit?), you can't go wrong! Their crusts are quite thin though (which I love, so no complaints here), so if you prefer thicker crusts, I'm not sure if they have that as an option. One personal pizza was enough for me, but I'm rather small, so you might have to add some sides (cheese sticks?), gelato, or even a whole other pie, so it can get pricey if you have a bigger appetite. read more

This has become our pizza place in Blacksburg, often times ordering online to pick it up. My personal favorite is the cauliflower crust with the Alfredo sauce. I love that there are a variety of sauces you can choose from. While not celiac, I often order gluten free crusts. I've watched them make gluten free pizzas in a separate space in the back so there isn't cross contamination. The pizzas are cooked in the same oven, but the gluten free ones are placed on special racks. The food is always delicious and our orders are right 95% of the time. This is a nice make your own pizzeria with a pretty large selection of ingredients and some decent suggestions. The crusts are deliciously crispy and thin and the pizza comes out pretty quick. The overall look and feel is pretty nice, as you can see from the photo here. We took two pizzas: one made to order and the other one from the suggestions. We enjoyed the one we built more, the pre-defined one (called Net) had a higher concentration of pesto than you would usually want. But, overall pretty good experience, comparable to some higher end Italian places in Blacksburg at a much lower cost. I haven't tried but there are a couple of more options on the menu: build your own salad, panini and baked pasta. I apologized for any miscommunication on my end and asked for the right size since two members of my family would be splitting it for dinner. No one said anything to me about fixing my order or apologized. So I assumed they were and waited patiently for the order to be corrected. While I was waiting I heard the manager, Renee, inquiring as to how much I paid. At this point it seemed like she thought I was trying to "get one over" on her staff. When the pizza was finally done Renee brought it out and I offered to pay the difference. When I offered to pay the difference, Renee took me up on it with no apology for the inconvenience whatsoever. I then walked back to my hotel and THE OTHER PIZZA I ORDERED WAS WRONG. I called the restaurant and explained that my other pizza was as wrong, speaking to John again. John transferred me to "someone with more power", being Renee. Renee then proceeded to ask me a plethora of questions about how I ordered and what I ordered, each of which I answered without question. She then said, "that may have been our fault, if you bring back that pizza we'll replace it." She actually wanted me to walk back with the second messed up pizza in order to fix it, WITH NO APOLOGY. I am not a rich man, considering my job as an unpaid student reporter for the Collegiate Times barely pays enough to make ends meat. Now of course, as a writer, I know the actual phrase is 'make ends meet'. Let me tell you, I would really regret spending 14 bucks on the combo I had for if I didn't consider Yelp reviews to be a business expense, worthy of being charged to the company credit card I swiped from my boss a few weeks back. People act as if this place is special because it's like 'chipotle, but for pizza'. What a concept, you get to stand in line and point at ingredients one by one, over and over again, instead of having to sit at a boring old table and order from a lame menu which you would have in front of you. So hip and trendy. How long until they make a 'chipotle, but for chipotle', where they charge you twice as much. I might be a bit nicer if this pizza weren't totally average tasting. I'm not a mathemortician , and to be honest I don't even know how to spell the word, but I think you could get 75 percent of the experience of eating here by asking your roommate to randomly sprinkle toppings on a Red Baron pizza, and then leaving it in the oven too long. It would probably be a lot cheaper too, even if you were to drop your wallet in the food lion parking lot on the way home. Just as long as whoever finds it on the cold, wet cement doesn't decide to come here for dinner. That wasn't a joke, I can't find my wallet please help me. Even If you were to do all that, you still wouldn't have to pay for the overhead costs of the ten minimum wage workers who are involved in the 'Your Pie' process, 9 of whom seemingly do nothing other than stand around and judge your choice in toppings.
