There were other people standing around you would think they would help out, but I'm not sure how that works with their staff. Everyone in my group got pizza and really enjoyed theirs as well. We ordered a pizza to go. I had high expectations and was sadly disappointed. Spent $20 for a medium pepperoni pizza which was a bit pricier than other places around. That totally would be worth it if the food was good but it just wasn't. I'm used to the brick oven pizzas in NY - this gets a solid 1 star in comparison, but the servers were kind and I love that it's a local place so it gets three stars for having great service. Brick house has changed their menu entirely from pizza house. Which isn't a problem for most of their items but they have recently removed the original pizza house pizza and there's no way to order it now even adding toppings separately. They had this available to order for a while now even after being bought from previous owners and name change so it's very disappointing. Nicely decorated and arranged pizza house on the main street. They have a bar and a lot of tables. The staff was super nice and attentive. I ordered the pimento cheese appetizer and the Foundry pizza(all meat pizza). The spread was good but had no wow factor. It came with Crackers and crostini. They add pickles on the side of almost everything ... I could see why when I ate one. Super good sweet flavor. The pizza had lots of toppings ... they do not skimp. The sauce had a good robust flavor. My only issue was the crust could have been more even and cooked a little longer. The top was definitely done, but the middle crust was a little wimpy. I got a large pizza earlier I tried to make it like the original brick house pizza and it was terrible. Onions, and the green peppers was huge slices , there was barley any hamburger nor cheese. This place has went down your pizza doesn't have the good taste it use to be and especially for 25$ . I was so disappointed and definitely will not be going back. I would like to say you get what you pay for but that's not even close. I ordered a Large double pepperoni and double sausage with half mushroom. And if it's double I would hate to see regular. And at a price of 31 dollars is ridiculous. Staff up front very nice and tried to help by trying to get them to add more to it but the picture is the final result. I am visiting the Virginia area. I stopped by the Brick House to get a bite to eat for dinner. When I ordered, I was informed that they were not serving the wood fired pizzas anymore that night. I didn't think much of it and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. However, my family and I were appalled at what we received. The pizza had a very unpleasant odor and smelled almost chemical like. I built up the courage, and took the first bite. From there I knew. I knew without a doubt that I was about to eat the worst pizza of my life. With some quick thinking, we turned around and got a $5 tray from the trusty Cookout. We ended up eating a little more of the pizza. Only time will tell if we will keel over from this preposterous pizza pie. read more

Their brick oven wasn't working, but they chose to stay open anyway to serve their "original crust" option, and there is a special circle in Hell reserved exclusively for the person who made this decision. We ordered the "classic margherita," but I am not sure what we received. Not only was it the worst pizza I have ever eaten in any restaurant, but I think it may have been worse than anything I have purchased from my grocer's freezer or in an elementary school cafeteria. The crust was spongy, flavorless, and smelled of soap. It was clearly frozen at some point. And if that was mozzerella on top, I'll eat my hat. Or better yet, I'll eat another slice of this absolute piece of shit "classic margherita!" Really great pizza , salads, beer, and outdoor seating! We got the pepperoni pizza, and the wood fired crust was awesome. The caesar salad was fresh with homemade dressing. I got the Southern Girl beer which was cold and perfect with the meal. We were able to sit outside. There is a great patio that I didn't even realize they had until we arrived. The staff were following COVID protocols and wearing masks. The restaurant was super clean and everyone very friendly, despite how busy they were. We'll definitely be back! read more

This restaurant has been in Radford for years but recently got a new name, new owners and renovations. The day my family and visited, it was pretty busy. Service was okay but one thing I dont like is when my server complains to me about having to be at work. Didnt make me feel like they wanted my business so...don't think I will be going back. The pizza was good and the beer was cold. The pricing is a little more than I expected compared to the old Pizza House and the portions. Went to have dinner here with the new owners with some friends, one of them has a small service dog, we were met at the door and told we could not eat there with a service dog. We have to get our Brickhouse Pizza fix once a week or so. We live a few blocks away, so we love to come down and get our Mary Draper pizza + pepperoni as well as craft beers for dinner after a long work day. We prefer crunchy crust, and the crew here is fine with the request to cook pizza in the oven a bit longer to our liking. The beer selection changes monthly but is always varied and good. We have been coming to this restaurant since it had mismatched tables and chairs and an unfinished "stage". We made the 40 minute drive because the pizza was so good and the beer selection was great. Now that the place is sleekly furnished and has a patio added, the food quality has suffered greatly. Being short staffed due to "Covid" does not excuse an hour wait for a 6 minute pizza that is served uncooked. The crust was literally raw and dripping with grease from the pepperoni. The explanation from the teen-aged server (who served our beer BTW) was "we have a lot of to go orders." I always thought in person customers would be a priority. The manager made a joke about the hair on my plate and blamed it on the kitchen and Covid. Really?? I thought brick pizza ovens are supposed to be super hot. How can a pizza oven used correctly produce raw pizzas? I noticed other customers chewing on pale, raw crusts as well. We got a $25 "gift voucher" for our wasted 2 hours and left hungry. Had visiting relatives from Australia and stopped in late one night, as it turns out, right at closing.
