The food was late being delivered and we received no phone call to advise us that they were running late!!!! We had to call them!!!! Desert sand with tumbleweed blowing in the wind comes to mind when I describe and visualize just how dry the chicken was!!!! Dessert was not what the desert we ordered and appeared to have been store bought, frozen, and been thawed out, but yet we we're charged $51.00 for an $8.00 store bought cake. The Red Diamond tea was store bought for $2.88 at Wal-mart, but we were charged $18.00 for two gallons. They brought no serving utensils for any of the food items we ordered. The dinner plates, forks, knives, spoons, and cups were brought with enough for 18 people, but there was not enough napkins for 18 people and there were no dessert plates. The chicken was hella dry. The roasted potato's were hard as a rock, were not completely cooked, and could have been used as a weapon. The only positive thing about the entire catering experience was that the asparagus was good and cooked. I will never ever ever ever ever use this company for any event personally or professionally. This was the first time using them and it was an EPIC fail in supporting local business!!!!

Since she had such glowing reviews, I was certain she would already be booked for that day and would laugh at my deadline. In the meantime, I contacted other chefs who replied back with less than desirable menus for foodies like ourselves. Thank God she replied on a Sunday with a complete menu! We went back a forth on a couple dishes but ended up with a 4 course meal with 3 different wines that would appease our picky palates! Pricing depends upon what you choose-ours ended up being a little over $500 including alcohol. Chef Teri arrived before we got home from work to prepare. She had our dining table decorated with flowers in tiny vases, candles, typed up placecards with the complete menu, and flowers in vases in our entryway and bathroom! She was warm and friendly and happy to educate us on food sources and her background. I included a pic of our menu, so I will not type up info on the dishes; however, I will say that the food was great! She truly pulled it off, without sweating, even though I gave her short notice! Hailee has serious chops--professional training, Four Seasons experience, and as a private chef and caterer in Manhattan. We have ordered Hailee's doorstep delivery meals every week for a year and a half. Her French and Italian can hang with top, local restaurants. Fresh lamb, chicken, beef, salmon, cod. Her sauces and pasta are excellent. Her vegetables often steal the show. Her salad dressings--roasted balsamic tomato vinaigrette, caesar, ranch--are find-something-in-the-fridge-to-dip good. Soups are excellent--light yet flavorful. She also prepares greek, spanish, asian and mexican, all of which are excellent restaurant quality. And rarely is her cooking heavy. Its seasoned for flavor and properly prepared. If she makes salmon, you will taste salmon. If she makes brussels sprouts, you will taste brussels sprouts. Plus, its delivered to our door at the beginning of the week. No more dinner-planning. A high-quality dinner is served after heating in the microwave or toaster oven. Oh, and her quiches, her quiches! On our rare returns to restaurants, we often try a dish and say, "ya, it's good. But Hailee's is better."
