A+ Food, A+ Entertainment, A+ Experience. If you're looking for something different, something exciting, something memorable, you should strongly consider Hanzo Hibachi Catering. Think about all the fun and adventure of a hibachi restaurant and bring it to your backyard, tailgate, block party..etc. I had no idea a service like this existed, but I'm really glad I heard about Hanzo from a good friend. Highly recommended experience that everyone should have at least once!

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

I am a Sushi novice to say the least, but my grandson and daughter wanted to introduce me to his new favorite restaurant, he's 15 so I had to see what he was raving about! The only reason I gave 4 stars is, cuz I am not educated on all things sushi and the extensive menu didn't really break down what each category really meant, the place was packed so clearly it's a newbie issue. I mentioned to our server Cameron, who was so polite and professional by the way, that it might be fun to host a monthly Sushi 101, where people could make reservations and for a flat rate the attendees could learn the difference between sashimi, sushi and all the other preparations for the cuisine. People could taste and sample each type and learn a little bit, giving them confidence to put Hush in their local food rotation. I really enjoyed my experience, and will do some research on the different options so I can try some new foods, I have no doubt I can ask my server, but that would have made me uncomfortable making the rest of my party wait while I learn, this was a spur of the moment invite so I didn't have time to do research, totally my problem. I will be going back once I learn more! I enjoyed my food, the Tempura Shrimp roll, we also really liked the smoked salmon roll, the crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice, all was delicious! Very nice place for a date night, if you like sushi you won't be disappointed!

Atmosphere is cute, definitely nice for a date night with the ambient lighting and cute floral decor. The food was a huge win for us along with the LARGE beer glasses that come out nice and frosted (ask for the coldest glasses). We enjoyed the octopus salad, chicken kaarage, some fried fish that came on the house, super philidelphia roll, crawfish roll, softshell crab, chicken katsu don, and salmon skin handroll. Everything was really great quality and quantity. My top favorites for the night were the octopus salad, a great combonation of seaweed salad, octopus, and cucumber salad. Extremely flavorful and a great way to start the night. The chicken kaarage was beautifully battered, not too heavy and very well seasoned, pairing well with the sauce that accompanied it. The soft shell crab... was one of the best I've had in DFW! I honestly was tempted to order more because it was nicely fried (seriously a great batter) and the light sauce helped amplify the flavor of the crab. Yummmm! The salmon skin handroll was tasty and crunchy with a nice balance of flavor. I think the key is making sure you eat from the sides and have a bit of the center with each bite, since the sauce is centralized there. If not I can see it being too salty for some. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and plan on returning with friends!

They were definitely short staffed & I'm not blaming the 2 waitresses at all. We ordered right when the waters came - 2 Kirin lights, a lg hot sake, 1 appetizer (edamame), a side of white rice, the hibachi steak with veggies and FRIED rice and 3 rolls. We were asked several times if we needed anything else; when it had been at least 15 - 20 min since we ordered and no food had come. Not even the edamame. We had to remind the waitress that we ordered multiple items, multiple times. When the food finally started coming out to us it was cold, had basically no flavor and the sushi rolls were poorly rolled and falling apart as soon as we tried to pick one up. The spicy tuna roll tasted like it was some type of paste and as soon as I put it in my mouth I had to spit it out into a napkin. I haven't had to do that in over 18 yrs. We spent over $100 for the worst sushi I've ever had my entire life. And look how they poured our beers
