How to shop at Central Market? Make a list otherwise it's so easy to pick up so many extras. This…read morereview is about my favorites at Central Market. I am here for the produce, mostly! Everything is fresh and in abundance. They have these cherry tomatoes called "Flavor Bombs" and are so good and sweet. Plus all the fresh herbs are amazing. Sometimes I shop here just for the produce. You can take a shortcut through the doorway into self-service coffee, nuts, candy and spices or continue to Seafood and Meats. My favorite in seafood is the Lobster in the tank and only when it's a special occasion And in the meat area, I like their pork chops, ground pork, and large hamburger patties. In the middle store I like their olive oils, with so many choices but my favorite is the Central Market Sicilian flavor. Now for the cheese and dairy my go to butter is the La Gall French Butter, so good. We like their fresh baked breads especially the Sour Dough and Naan. Near Checkout you will beautiful flowers that are fresh with so many choices. Until next visit!!! Shop Central Market!

This is my go-to grocery store for just about everything. They consistently have what I need, and…read morethe quality of their produce and meat is exceptional. The freshness and selection always exceed expectations. Coming from New England, I'm extremely picky about seafood, and this is the only place in the area where I'll buy it. That says a lot about their quality and standards. Crowds can be intense on Saturdays and Sundays, especially around the produce and meat sections. It feels like being packed in with sardines (lol pun), but that's just a sign of how popular the store is. If you prefer a calmer shopping experience, I recommend going on weekdays or in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. Once, while I was debating how a seasonal product might taste, an employee overheard me and offered to open a box so I could sample it. I was honestly surprised to learn that they'll open almost anything for you to try. I declined and bought it anyway, but that level of service really impressed me. I also love how Central Market leans into the seasons. Their themed décor changes throughout the year, adding charm and warmth from the entrance to the back of the store. One Christmas, a violinist was performing near the seafood counter. Shopping for dinner while listening to live holiday music was such a special touch and exactly the kind of experience that makes this place stand out. The only reason I'm deducting a star is for the restrooms near the wine and beer section. On the very rare occasion I've had to use them, they've been filthy and unpleasantly odorous. For a store that takes such pride in presentation and quality, the bathrooms fall short of their otherwise excellent standards. Despite that, Central Market remains one of my favorite grocery destinations; a place that truly elevates the everyday shopping experience.

She made an excellent substitution for one vegetarian in the group. Chef Erin is amazing, personable, respectful, and professional! She made the meal very easy to recreate at home with tips and tricks. Amazing stuffed mushrooms are easier and do not take as long as I used to make them. I am no longer intimidated to make hollandaise sauce! The class was designed for however much effort you want to put in. It was a very relaxing, cozy atmosphere with time to spare to hangout. The part I had already looked forward to most was no dishes to clean up! Overall, it was a good experience for home cooks to gain confidence in the kitchen. It was a fancy menu and the chef enlightened us on how straightforward it is to put together. She empowered us to do it ourselves, revealing how easy it actually is.

Picked up the knives all sharpened and on the clearance isle I found an ornamental loaf pan and look forward to baking. Oh and got a few frosting tips. Great experience, great food, and zero pressure. Just learning, cooking, and eating. Hard to beat that. Our instructor, Chef Michael, was fantastic. Knowledgeable without being preachy, confident without being arrogant, and genuinely fun to learn from. He explained the "why" behind what we were doing, not just the steps, which made the whole class more engaging and useful. We learned how to make lobster risotto that was rich, creamy, and surprisingly approachable. He also walked us through a fresh salad with a maple vinaigrette that was simple but elevated, and we finished with a perfectly cooked New York strip topped with a herb compound butter that brought everything together. The class was relaxed, interactive, and delicious from start to finish. You cook real food, learn techniques you can actually use at home, and then sit down and enjoy what you made. No rushing, no stress, just a really good experience. Highly recommend this class, whether you're a confident home cook or someone who just wants to learn a few new skills. We will absolutely be back. The Italian cooking class is next on my list, and I'm already looking forward to it.

The recipes were delicious. Everything was timed to be ready in stages. Even my guests who typically don't like to cook got into the action. It was a totally fun experience. We are looking for another time to plan another event.
