Not my forte she walked me through the pillows and helped me find the perfect match. You do not find that level of customer service any longer, so I was very grateful for her patience, understanding, and professionalism. Alda is now standing role model for others to follow with regard to customer service. HomeSense truly needs to commend her for putting the customer needs first. I watched her with other customers and she was just as friendly and helpful! You have a true gem in Alda!!

I've been a long time Ballards shopper and they have an excellent team working right now. I missed this store when I had to move to DC. (Tysons BD was the worse. The absolute worse.) It wasn't the color or the size that I wanted, but I did ask him where the bathroom is and she pointed to the bathroom and said the other desks are over there. I'll meet you over there. I went to the bathroom and then came out and waited about five minutes for her and she never came back. As I was leaving, I took a look around. I think they had a total of three desks and one of them was the price of a Pottery barn desk so if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd rather just go to pottery barn

When we arrived it looked to be not only packed with items, but packed with people. Coming here on a busy weekend day can mean a few things, you're having to constantly say excuse me to get by people, you'll wait in line for a while, and you may or may not lose interest standing in line with all the people. I went straight to the Christmas decor. They had three full rows of items, but I will say, it was only a few days after Halloween, and they still had a bunch of fall/Halloween items they were marking down, so they didn't have ALL their Christmas decor out. After bumping into a few people, I lost interest. I plan on coming here during the week to avoid the crowds.

Found out about the closing through a news article posted yesterday and we both figured the sooner we go the better options we'd have to pick something up. I've actually never been here and I didn't know it existed. Right now they have ALOT of Christmas decor from candles, wreaths, knick-knacks, throws, mirrors, pillows, artwork, etc. He ended up buying a mirror and a throw blanket and I got a sectioned charcuterie board big enough to wallop someone if I needed to for about $20. The staff were so polite and I watched them help other patrons out from measuring tape or lifting heavy items to the checkout counter. They said that the other location in Mandarin isn't closing, just their store. Hopefully they will be transferred. Sucks that this location is closing but I'm glad I was able to stop in and check out what they had to offer. Also got on the mailing list so if I do feel so inclined to go out to Mandarin I will!

Friends, Our home is…read moreour sanctuary. It is a shrine to our success and an extension of who we are as well as who we have yet to become. To build such an important place, it is much more than just buying "things" - it is touching, holding objects in our hands, imagining the importance of each piece and the role they will play in our life's tapestry (our homage to life itself). The team in Jacksonville helped me do just that!! Tami and Robert, under Nadine's watchful-eye, partnered with me for almost a full-year bringing together the beautiful pieces, colors, fabrics and home-designs (that you see throughout this communication) to life. Your team was friendly, highly skilled, professional and valuable to this challenging project. Each of them took the time to patiently assess my needs (which changed from time-to-time); made sure I was comfortable with the process and to validate that I felt that my investment was in capable hands, the entire way through. Our home is finished but the relationship continues as I feel I have made close friends that I hope to work with well into the future on new and exciting projects, renovations and expansion (we have another room of furniture on its way). Please do me this small favor ... take the time to recognize this amazing team for Lynnette and me. We couldn't have reached our goal without their support, caring and dedication. Our hearts are full! Sincerely, Robb and Lynnette Perk

I also noticed a lot of Valentine's items marked down to 75% off, which was a great deal. Today's five star rating goes to three outstanding professionals! Randy, Todd, and Erica…read more I found out through a home renovation project that my shower had to unexpectedly be redone. Having very limited time I had to go and select what was necessary so the project could continue and not held up any longer. Stressed well, that's an understatement however I first had the privilege of working with Randy who invoked Todd's opinion and ended with Erica @ check out. They truly made this stressful situation a Joy and I even left with a smile on my face because of them. Randy was extremely patient, I asked him if he was busy and if he could help. He spent the next 20 minutes walking up and down the aisles repetitively (at least four times) before I could finally decide on the tile. As we were looking for the shower flooring to match the fantastic tile- the only thing I knew - I wanted pebbles. This is where Todd came to help, the two of them tag team and got various samples. (I got one which got voted out very quickly for the right reason). Todd had an eye for this as does Randy and that truly made a difference because from what I said earlier, being extremely stressful now suddenly became exciting because of the tile and pebble flooring that Randy and Todd helped select. Upon leaving, I had the privilege of working with Erica who is so kind and patient as I asked many questions about how the contractor will come get everything the following morning. She maintained a smile and when I told her how great Randy and Todd were she handed me a card so I could do a yelp review. Little does she know I've been an elite yelper for Eight years Overall, I'm very happy with what I got, the prices were very reasonable and I got a good value for my money. I was actually surprised at how inexpensive the pebble flooring and tile were as I really thought it was gonna cost a lot more. Thank you, Floor & Decor for Randy, Todd, and Erica, what a great team you have
