It pains me to write this review because I genuinely wanted this partnership to succeed…read more In January 2026, I partnered with Maria at Coastal Elements to host Mahjong lessons. The classes were successful, bringing customers into the store and creating a fun community event. I was excited to support another woman-owned business. I received one payment in February 2026 for approximately four weeks of lessons. After that, I continued teaching throughout March, April, and May. Despite repeated requests for payment, I was given various reasons for the delay and assured that payment was coming. I even offered to accept installment payments if that would help. Unfortunately, payment never arrived. For months, I attempted to resolve this matter privately through texts, phone calls, in-person conversations, and follow-up requests. I ultimately sent a certified demand letter, which was received, yet I am still awaiting payment for services that were provided months ago. I take responsibility for not having a more detailed written agreement in place. However, I firmly believe that when work is completed as agreed, payment should be made in a timely manner. I do not write this out of anger. I simply want to be paid for the work I performed. My hope is that Coastal Elements will honor its commitment and resolve this matter without further action.

When we arrived it looked to be not only packed with items, but packed with people. Coming here on a busy weekend day can mean a few things, you're having to constantly say excuse me to get by people, you'll wait in line for a while, and you may or may not lose interest standing in line with all the people. I went straight to the Christmas decor. They had three full rows of items, but I will say, it was only a few days after Halloween, and they still had a bunch of fall/Halloween items they were marking down, so they didn't have ALL their Christmas decor out. After bumping into a few people, I lost interest. I plan on coming here during the week to avoid the crowds.

Checkout was easy, and the guys loading it were professional. It even started raining, but they wrapped the furniture before loading it. Went back later for a sofa table and ottoman. Osvaldo remembered us and again helped point out any imperfections before purchase. Friendly, knowledgeable staff like that makes me want to keep coming back.

He walked around with me never pressuring me to buy anything and I saw a table when I first walked in that I liked and he noted that it was a floor model. It was the last one they had until November, and the price was reduced drastically once I said I wanted to buy it. The man who helped me his name is Moussa ABUAU a total kind man yet professionally he actually cleaned the table off. The top was partially glass, and he cleaned all the glass and then he cleaned the wood around it. He took up the receipt that was sitting there to the office and they reduced the price and he came back as excited as I was the only drawback to this visit is I was taking home the floor model I was on my own the people who come out to help you all nice could you nothing to help me lower the seats in my Honda Accord so that the table would fit in better they did fit it in the backseat and then I was stuck with the large piece of glass. I asked them for wrapping or something you know and they don't supply anything ever that's what they told me so I had a rough ride home. It was about 10 miles and I was afraid to go over 5 miles an hour because of the glass sitting on the floor in the back suffice it to say because I drove very slowly. I did get home with everything in one piece and again I really would like to compliment this particular store this salesman, the office, etc. sincerely, Helen.
