Went today and as usual, numerous Ace employees were an available to help. One immediately located my trimmers and started carrying them for me to the front. Figured he was making sure I paid (which I had offered where he found them). Main cashier line was long so he took to another part of the store to an open cashier. Then he carried them and put them in the car. That's Ace and that's why we go there.

The classes were successful, bringing customers into the store and creating a fun community event. I was excited to support another woman-owned business. I received one payment in February 2026 for approximately four weeks of lessons. After that, I continued teaching throughout March, April, and May. Despite repeated requests for payment, I was given various reasons for the delay and assured that payment was coming. I even offered to accept installment payments if that would help. Unfortunately, payment never arrived. For months, I attempted to resolve this matter privately through texts, phone calls, in-person conversations, and follow-up requests. I ultimately sent a certified demand letter, which was received, yet I am still awaiting payment for services that were provided months ago. I take responsibility for not having a more detailed written agreement in place. However, I firmly believe that when work is completed as agreed, payment should be made in a timely manner. I do not write this out of anger. I simply want to be paid for the work I performed. My hope is that Coastal Elements will honor its commitment and resolve this matter without further action.

The staff knows their inventory and are helpful and enthusiastic. They love what they and it shows. I travel from the North side. I could buy my beads on line but for anyone who shares the Troll addiction you know it's much more fun to be with others who understand and enjoy choosing the right bead. That is not say that their other inventory is to be dismissed. There is a gift for anyone one your list and I can never resist buying a gift and not one for myself as much as try.
