Overpriced couch with a big hole
    S J.

I've donated here tons of times. I love the mission and how they help homeless people. love the location off of beach blvd but the 7th North location is overpriced. I normally don't even go in there but my daughter Ho recently got her own place is looking for furniture. She was interested in a coffee table. It was $130 feet the tons of scratches all over the top glass and the couch for $100 looks like the dog got ahold of the corner. Please guys I know there are alot of people who the money around here but the prices on your very used furniture is overpriced.

This is a nice little thrift store off the beaten path. Prices are very fair and selection is decent. Nice workers. Lots of kids stuff. They even have some outdoor items and furniture.

This place is hard to see from the road, and doesn't look like much. But when you get inside, it's a lovely little shop. Unlike most, where all the inventory is just in the front area, they utilize the side rooms, hallways and back rooms too. Makes for some tight spaces, navigating around others. I really enjoyed the stuff we saw! The selection is definitely more of housewares

Jacksonville Beach Local thrift store, um YES! Beam is not only an awesome place to find used goods, they are also an outstanding organization as a whole. The amount of heart and care they put into their work is immense. Hence- why I drive all the way to the beach when I have any donations. Side note here on donating: They prefer to have donated items pre-organized. That being said, try not to just bring a bag with a bunch of random things. As a lot of the staff are volunteers it helps them tremendously if you take time to separate your clothes from kitchenware when donating. As far as the store itself, well it's great! At first glance it may look petite, but there's everything from gently used men's clothes to your next living room chair. With reasonable prices and gently used knick-knacks, you can't go wrong! So long story short, if you haven't stopped by Beam, you are missing out! Check out this local gem and bring a bag or two to donate.

My personal view about thrift stores is that those who shop there see the value of the dollar & wish to keep more of it in their pockets by buying 2nd hand! I was raised on thrift stores and garage sales! The thrill of the find was always exciting on Saturday mornings as my Mom planned out our route like others plan out their Black Friday strategies. Needless to say, thrifting is in my blood! I've visited this Goodwill location for years, even through its various different addresses. I'd have to say this latest renovation and choice of staff HAS to be the best yet! Most of the staff are approachable and helpful upon request. The layout of the store is far superior to what it has been in the past! The toy aisle will ALWAYS be a disaster, as it's the 'babysitting' aisle while the moms shop! THE electronics aisle/appliance aisle needs cameras.... ALWAYS empty packages on it! All-in-all, the quality of merchandise is becoming better and better with each trip. With the exception of the bathrooms, the esthetics of the store have improved 100%! Removing the 'boutique' section is also a BIG PLUS! no need to separate quality items if you remove the tattered, torn, stained dollar store buys from the racks, instead. I do feel it would be more helpful to even out the quantity of items a bit better among all of the chain's locations!

The lady at the register did not care when I told her. Instead she actually ignored us when asked how her day has been twice. Very unfriendly staff. and store is full of poop clothes and roaches. They nest and crawl around all over the store. They also do not care about that problem lol. The amount of junk and actual trash I find in this store that makes it on the floor is mind blowing and it's always $4.99 or more. Horrible company and horrible prices. Poo poo dress for $9.99?

The city really gets behind you, but won't rip to shreds if you suck like Philly would. I'm really a sucker for passion, and people in Jax have a fiery passion for their Jaguars. When people ooze passion about something, it gets me passionate. So when my girlfriend showed me this 904 Pop Up shop that sold vintage jags gear, I was excited to get a potential piece. For context, ever since Cam Newton retired, I am an NFL team free agent so it isn't cheating if I got a shirt. I ended up finding the SICKEST vintage jags long sleeve black shirt that has teal flames going around the logo. It reminds me of a vintage Harley Davidson T. I was obsessed, I had to cop. Saw and ordered a Florida tee online. I thought it was strange there wasn't an option to pickup in the store. There was no shipping fee, so I thought it auto'd for pickup. To be sure, I even put it in the notes "need pickup due to travel next week! After numerous attempts for contact on IG and by email, no one responded to my order. I drove all the way from downtown (30mins) for them to tell me it's being shipped and takes 5-7 days. There is no phone number to call the store. They only print this graphic in the warehouse. They said they could allow pickup for Tuesday. I'm departing Thursday. Be mindful of store hours. So I drove 30 mins again to retrieve. I don't like to wear what other people have, but for the trouble I would've ordered elsewhere. At least respond to emails since your posting ok your stories!
