Now I'm flipping out because not only did I get screwed by someone switching a broken blanket out for another, I am now screwed out of $100 bc BBB says "all sales are final". The box didn't even contain an information booklet about the product. It's clear whoever accepted the package back at BBB didn't do their do diligence and just put the item back on the shelf. And as I call to speak with the manager about how they just robbed me, she offers no compassion and wants to say to me "well you should have checked and opened the box in the store" wtf kind of response is that. We were so looking forward to visiting this branch but were honestly quite disappointed. The sections were disorganized, and some items were placed on shelves with the wrong price labels. I picked up a couple loaf pans thinking they were $6 each based on the label on the shelf, only to get to the self check-out counter and find they were actually $12 each. I tried to get an employee to help me sort out the discrepancy and cancel the purchase, but this took at least 10 minutes because there was only one person very slowly attending to the many shoppers needing help at self check-out. It didn't seem that there were any employee-run check-out counters, and there weren't any other employees to help out either. Apart from all this, I had a horrible experience with their restroom which was DISGUSTING - ironic considering the store is literally called Bed Bath & Beyond. You would think with all the bathroom items and cleaning supplies they sell, they would be able to take better care of their toilets. Guess not. Probably will stick to online shopping from now on.

I needed desperately to replace my dryer and…read moreunfortunately also badly needed a fridge and money has been mega tight lately. basically, i was in a position where i couldn't be picky -- and i have wanted the samsung bespoke fridge for years and settled for admiring it online while looking for a used dryer, i found elite kitchens and went in to look at what they had which is new, not used. the salespeople are great and not pushy -- the prices are so unreal they don't need to be. in under 5 minutes, i found my dream fridge. the salesperson recommended this washer and dryer, and while i research even tiny purchases, i didn't this time and bought all three. in and out in 5 minutes. you can't even find an associate at home depot that fast as it turns out, the washer and dryer are top of the line -- jeevesny keeps recommending it; I could not have chosen better. i had spent hours searching for a cabinet to hide what I thought would be used machines (before I found elite kitchens) in my kitchen, but these are brand new and so gorgeous it's not necessary -- i styled them like a mini laundromat and they look good in my kitchen! the fridge is pristine and beautiful, and due to an issue in my kitchen, i needed a replacement part. marian contacted me back immediately and said they had a spare one. that level of customer service is so rare appliances are not a frequent purchase, but after this, I'd never go elsewhere. they have amazing quality appliances that look stunning and perform perfectly, and the entire set cost what one brand new washer/dryer unit cost (something i was considering to save money) for the longest time, i thought I'd never be able to afford replacements, much less the very best replacements available, and my clothes have never been cleaner! they ship the pieces to your driveway, and I found an amazing installer who carried in and installed all three this economy has been brutal for a lot of us (especially in my field, journalism) and being able to get gorgeous, perfect appliances locally at a discount is a godsend. i have told everyone about this place, and i actually enjoy all of the laundry process right now, and for the first time in my life nothing sits unfolded. and I've wanted that fridge for so long that I still can't believe I have it without having 2-3 years of paying them off also, they're really cool about preferences. specifically, i wanted this fridge in blue and they had the panels and subbed them without me asking! if you want to save money on new but far more affordable appliances and put more money towards a kitchen renovation, go here. honestly, this place will be my first stop for as long as it's available because these appliances are nicer than the big box versions i bought new and replaced. idk why anyone would pay the big box tax for the same appliances when your budget goes so far here also I should mention I had a few questions post purchase (I'm a young widow with older kids so it's just me around here) and they were FAR more accommodating and responsive than a big box store could be in short, I cannot recommend this place enough and my new appliances have made me and my kids so happy. get your appliances here! there is also the added bonus of supporting a local retailer instead of the corporations that overcharge us and aren't available for questions after you buy. on that note, you call and a person picks up. you're not locked in to a date you can't change and we're so used to big stores and their poor service and overpriced stuff 100/5 stars

We scheduled an appointment for that week to have someone come by to measure. Two very nice gentlemen came by. They listened to my ideas and took measurement and photos. I heard nothing for two weeks so I called. I was told I would receive a call back; I didn't; I called again and again was told I would receive a call back. I finally got a call from the designer, Ryan, on a Saturday. Within a minute i was given a $$$ number, without any context. I told Ryan we would like to stop by the following Saturday. He said that would work and he would make the time for us. I emailed him during the week, no response. I called that Saturday morning and was told he was not in that day. I advised the person I spoke with that we wouldn't be available during the week and wouldn't be available for the next few weekends. I finally received a call from Ryan attempting to schedule "during the week and for the next few weekends". As we were busy for those few weeks, I emailed him, yet again, two weeks ago. I wasn't surprised that I received no response. I truly thought the showroom had everything I needed for my kitchen. It's just upsetting that your designer is less than responsible, attentive, and trustworthy.

Now RBS is merging with a 90 something year old kitchen dealer - that was for decades by the RR track on LI's south shore in Lindenhurst - They have a new space on the southern end of Rt 110 - Broadhollow Rd. Farmingdale. The showroom is new and spacious enough to properly display many lines they represent. Took plenty of photos to show examples. Best advice is do NOT get overwhelmed with kitchen jargon - like overlay.. inset .. painted.. Mid range, high end etc. There is no right or wrong. Showrooms let you get the look and feel of a kitchen and the inside of the cabinets.. how the drawers pull out... how they close. Etc Best thing is to pick a few that you like and ask for the price range and time to have delivered. I also usually ask where they are manufactured. Only a few places actually truly make cabinets on LI today - many claim to, but are really unpacking and or assembling.. and or painting. Lakeville is NOT manufacturing - they are representing the manufacturers as retailers - which means they need to sell enough to be authorized.. and so are familiar with the product. The salespeople know which ones are the best value, quality, time frame etc.. They have in house designers - that can help you plan the perfect layout. Think a few weeks ahead to not get disappointed if they have other people ahead of you for design work. We have been to Southold's RBC years back and were not wowed- then Riverhead itself and thought it a good showroom and excellent customer service... but this Lakeville division of RBC is their biggest showroom, and worth some time to compare cabinets. Much easier that just looking at door colors and a computer screen. Found lots of gorgeous displays and left inspired and closer to narrowing down the right choice.

Purchased our third kitchen cabinets from Lakeland Kitchen and never had an issue until this past…read moreyear. We purchased Medallion cabinets in 2017 and they began to buckle and the paint pealed off. I contacted Lakeland Kitchen and after numerous phone calls and emails Lakeland with Medallion sent Legacy Touch Up to repair my cabinets. I truly did not think the could be repaired but I am happy to say Legacy did an amazing job and expoxy and painting to repair the damaged cabinets.. I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend Lakeland Kitchens.
