Cute little cafe on Bushwick that not only serves coffee but also a variation of Dominican and Mexican foods. The customer service was fantastic, they even drew on my bag so cute but the food is very small portioned.
I read some really great Google reviews and decided to order for pickup via Ubereats. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming, however they need a lot of improvement when it comes to portion size. I'm not one to complain about a small portion amount unless it's extremely small and this here was extremely small. My sandwich had a very few pieces of chicken in it and it was called a "Torta". They should change that name to a chicken sandwich and change the bread since they used a hero bread and left it half empty.
I see so much potential with this business. My take is they need to portion out better for breakfast items or lower the price. A handful of potatoes that were said to be "Home fried" cost me $5.99 here and I was in literal shock. A bag of potatoes cost that much with little effort to make at home. So for the convenience I'd expect something more fulfilling and suitable especially in this economy. They also weren't home fries but rather baked or air fried potato pieces.
I did like the portion of the tacos. It was very delicious but they lined it up like a burrito and that's not typically how you'd eat a taco. It didn't bother though and it was good.
Overall I rate them 3 stars because the customer service was phenomenal and the food is actually tasty but just very small portioned for the price compared to what you can get locally. I'm all for supporting new businesses so I hope they read my review and take some of the criticism from a costumers perspective. read more
