I've been doing Pilates reformer for a while. Oh boy! It's a good hard and everyday I do it challenges me. The burn and jelly legs are so real. I love this place, they have a very aesthetic place feels like a coffee place, it's just inviting to be there. They have a room for pilates reformer and barre room. Which is a hidden gem in Reno. The owner and the instructors are all super friendly to the point they know my name already, I'm always thankful that they check on my posture that makes it all better. They connect to the community once a month, and donate while you do a free mat pilates. The month I have stayed there I tried different classes. All teachers have their own way of teaching. I must say they are all hard. If want to burn more and challenge do the barre, it will get you sore for days. A hidden gem in Reno that offers both Reformer Pilates and a barre. She is a wonderful teacher, very hands on and really helps you to get the moves or modify to meet your needs/abilities. They are definitely hard classes but you come out feeling super proud of yourself at the end. You can either get a membership through the gym or sign up for the classes via classpass. Overall, I really enjoy the classes, feel like i am making progress already and will definitely keep coming back!

The instructors are great, they know a lot about what they are teaching and they have a passion for it. The instructors also participate in the work out, which I admire. Once you've taken one spin or boxing class from Escape, your regular gym spin classes will be boring enough to put you to sleep. Escape uses blacklights because they believe fitness is about how you feel, not how you look. With loud music, high energy, great instructors, you'll finish your workout feeling stronger and more pumped up than ever. Memberships are a little out of my price range but drop in classes every few weeks are totally reasonable. I'll always be a fan of Escape and its unique workout experience.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly staff, including Gretchen. She was very friendly, asked if i've ever been to any Pure Barre studio before. When i said no, she proceeded to make sure i had the right socks, and got me all set up in the studio. She explained the equipment and made sure I was in a spot that I could easily follow along. The class was fun with great music and was a great workout with the ability to cater to your particular level. I would say if you're new to pilates/working out maybe start with their regular class as this probably would have been too strenuous for a total beginner. Gretchen was very positive, encouraging and helpful during the entire class. When we finished she made sure to come up to me to ask how I enjoyed it.
