Stay away from Loops Pilates. The owner and main instructor, Kyl does not treat customers with respect. She'll pretend at first, but then things get real. She yells at customers in her studio, and does so in front of other customers. She talks down to her customers during classes by saying things like, "No one has their listening caps on today." She plays favorites and has different rules for different customers. She allows some customers to show up to class late, stating they are always known to be late. Others who show up late get scolded in front of the class, some get charged late fees, and some have even been told not to come back and that they are no longer welcome in her studio. Kyl even talks badly about other neighboring businesses and business owners. Most recently, I sent an email to Kyl expressing my concern about something and she ignored my email. So, the next time I saw her in class, I brought the issue up to her privately and she rudely battled me on the issue instead of talking to me in a respectful way. I ignored her attitude and walked away to start class. After class, I approached Kyl privately again and asked her for a moment to talk with her. At that time I told her I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me before class. Rather than apologizing to me and trying to understand the issue, she battled me again and was confrontational. I finally said to her that I would like a refund for the future classes I had purchased and it's best if we go our separate ways. She agreed and said, "Yes, lets do that." As I walked toward the front door, Kyl yelled across the studio at me and again this was in front of other customers. I just kept walking and didn't engage in her nasty behavior. Later that evening Kyl sent me an email saying she was not going to refund me as she had verbally agreed to that morning. So basically she lied to me that morning. I sent her a response to her email, which she again ignored. I'm not sure why she would want customers who dislike her to continue attending classes. Not only does Kyl have a bad attitude, she recently decided none of the customers can use the bathroom. Instead, we have to put our shoes and jacket on, leave the building, go next door, use a different business' bathroom, then come back to class. This is a huge hassle. 95% of Kyl's customers are senior citizens who need the restroom more frequently than others, but now Kyl won't allow her bathroom to be used. How terrible!!!! Take our money, scold us, disrespect us, not let us use the restroom, then refuse to refund us our money. Kyl is an old, cranky, unpleasant woman who should not be in a customer facing business. read more
