The facilities are wonderful too, it's clean and quiet and you have all the equipment you could ask for. I am taking one star off for miscommunication on the structure of contract services. This is likely my own fault, as I was very excited to start and did not pay attention to the details. The reason I am writing this is so others can learn from my mistake. If you enter into a 3-month contract, you are paying for those specific months; you are not buying 3-months of services that you can move around. I had some personal issues that resulted in the need to work around the contract and while Channell worked with me to try and accommodate my needs, at the end of the day, I paid for a month of services that I did not receive which is disappointing. I absolutely recommend this place for your personal training needs, just pay attention to the details before you sign!

I'm blown away every time by her wealth of anatomy and movement knowledge, and how clearly she communicates it...and by the incredibly warm and kind human that she is. If you have the opportunity to take a training or class with Natalie at Purely Pilates, DO IT! It's a sweet, clean, welcoming studio tucked into a strip of office buildings - they have a shared parking lot and we always found parking easily. They have Reformers (8, I think), Exo Chairs, a Trapeze Table, and more. I've heard great things about all of the instructors at Purely Pilates! I'll definitely pop in for a class when I'm back in the area.

This place is open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 7am-1pm which I love because I can get in before work even starts. I have been dealing with headaches for months now and ever since I have gone to see him, I feel like a whole new person. He takes the time to get to know you and the way your body works before he will align you. He talks you through every situation to make you feel comfortable. The office is very clean and inviting inside and the receptionist is such a sweetheart! I would recommend this place to anyone that has back problems, headaches, etc. It is truly amazing.

I started reformer Pilates in March of 2018 to try to relieve the symptoms of chronic plantar fascitis and to find a method of exercise that would build strength and balance as I head into my 50th decade. The results were excellent however, I had to move on from that studio for other reasons I will not go into here. I tried the Pilates at Double Diamond Athletic Club...this is not true Pilates. Aside from 1 instructor, the others are personal trainers using reformers as gym equipment. The "mind/body" connection is lost also because there are loud aerobic classes going on nearby. I found Lisa W. at Mind Over Movement and I am very happy. I did not know a reformer could be so solid, smooth and just FEEL it was made with great quality. Lisa's teaching and queing is excellent. The music she plays is spa-like, allowing you to get into the "mind" of the movements you are executing. I had never used the towers before and that is an awesome add to the reformer. I also feel Lisa's pricing is fair. I buy the 6-pack. Paying in advance for 6 classes is good pricing AND MOST ESPECIALLY, I never have to worry about making up classes I may have missed due to my own schedule. Additionally, there are two restrooms that are oversized and CLEAN...perfect for changing clothes before/after class. She also has mini bottled water on hand that she does not charge for. Caution though...don't take advantage of this as a freebie. BYO water and use theirs only if you need. Be a courteous student! See my other reviews on other Reno Pilates studios. I just went to my first class here and it was wonderful! Everything about the space is beautiful,…read morecalming, and peaceful. I appreciated that no one was crammed into a small area to remove shoes and put stuff into cubbies- there is a spacious, soothing start and finish to class. The studio space itself was also really nice, bright and open and not stinky (low bar but some studios can smell so strongly! Of sweat or incense or whatever). It was really nice to just be able to flow and breathe deeply. I hope to return soon!

I went there a ball of stress and as soon as I got on the table my stress melted away the room was very cozy and inviting. Tatiana has a gentle but also firm touch and she incorporated sound healing and Jin shin energy work along with ashiatsu, which is Thai massage where she walked on my back and it felt amazing. After my massage I used the steam room where salt scrub is provided. I felt amazing the rest of the day! After parking in the parking lot located behind the building, you'll enter the back entrance into the lush courtyard where you'll see a black metal staircase to the right. The staircase will lead you to the Bliss Holistic Center. I have done yoga many times before, but this was the first time I was able to experience Buti. It felt like a mix of dancing, Pilates, yoga, and anger management. Perfect for all able bodies, and in my opinion, a great way to break out of one's shell to build confidence with their body. After the powerful yoga session, we were able to enjoy a peaceful sound bath given by Tatiana. The sound bath allowed us to go on a deep journey within, something we all need to do more often with this crazy world around us. With the sound baths you can also add mindful hands-on enhancements that will "help you sink deeper into your body allowing the mind to heart connection."
