I've been going to Stretch Zone for over 2 years now! Have had many different stretchers but I must say Carissa and Adrian are my two favs. But in all honestly Stretch Zone has been a game changer for me. My leg and ass muscles get so tight at times I get some pretty bad lower back pain. Going to Stretch Zone not only forces me to stretch but it's done in a way I can't really do on my own. I have a love hate type of relationship with stretching in general. I would rather do anything than stretch but I know if I don't stretch regularly I'm asking for trouble. Maintaining flexibility as I move into midlife is becoming progressively more difficult. Stretch Zone is like having access to an NFL team's training staff-maybe just less frequent. I definitely feel improvement after every visit. It's helped me stay on track. I recommend getting a stretch session before other mobility treatments for better results. As we were stretching, he was gentle, and he explained everything that was happening, possible causes for tightness, and how what we were doing would help. A new business that just landed over in South Reno. I found them through instagram and it piqued my interest. I popped in for a free consultation. The staff here is super friendly and professional. I've always been a fan of partner stretching and this is the professional version of that. I walked in and there was half a dozen people getting contorted in all manner of ways. The initial consultation they get to know you and what your personal concerns may be or problem areas you have. I was already walking and moving better than when I came in just from the initial appointment. I really enjoy the work done by therapists. They really listen and want you to have an enjoyable experience. I really appreciated the initial orientation where they find out your focus/preference. And, I like that there are various practitioners you can work with. They seem to have plenty of availability on the dates and times I need. After having experienced injuries and back pains a couple times as I age, I got extremely serious about flexibility and core strength. So when I saw their ad for a free stretch I said, sure why not. I was extremely impressed. The office is clean and the staff is so incredibly friendly and professional. The person who stretched me was quite skilled, and very good about responding to feedback as the session progressed. I was worried about sales pressure, but there was none. They explained their various payment plans, some of which are quite flexible (how's THAT for a pun?). I said money is tight (will the puns ever end?) right now, and that was that, no problem. I enjoyed my experience there, and I think this will be good for my aging body, so I'll definitely be signing up for one of their plans when money frees up. read more

I just went for a facilitated stretch session at the new Stretch Zone in Reno, NV and loved it all! The atmosphere is very soothing (great scent as you walk in, clean environment and very friendly woman at the front desk), and my practitioner who helped me stretch (Ashley) was super competent, skilled, knowledgable and listened really well in order to help me get the best stretch for my inflexible body. She could even tell one ankle has been sprained multiple times due to how it moved compared with my other ankle. The manager was also extremely friendly and a great communicator. He explaining their philosophy, how our bodies benefit from stretching (I definitely felt better after the stretch) and made sure I was comfortable with everything they would be doing during my session. I highly recommend this business. I'd never been to a wellness center that actually personalizes and facilitates stretching before. (I've done group stretch classes, but I can't quite get the same deep stretch, even with stretch bands.) I could really feel a difference after my initial consultation!
