The meh: Their dusting was just ok - a lot left in the blinds. The ugly: They turned my side table around to clean behind it, and things weren't returned to the state they were in. The drawers were facing the bed so they wouldn't open, the power cord management box was behind the side table vice beside it, lamps were unplugged. Also, we have those "Indows" plexiglass window inserts for sound isolation. They pulled one of them out (to clean the window i guess) and managed to scratch the plexiglass in the process - about a 4-5" gash, and did not put the indow back in. I mean, I thought they didn't do windows anyway? Why wouldn't they ask how it worked or if they should clean the window? I think if I were to have them back I'd have to supervise, or set expectations for them not to touch windows and to return things the way they were.

When I told the woman on the phone she didn't clean the fridge and other things she was apologetic but told me the fridge wasn't on the checklist so I checked the checklist they sent and went around to the things on the checklist and as you can see from the pictures the other things on the checklist were not clean... The worst part is this is a move in cleaning. So there was no furniture she had to work around and no furniture to clean! For 3 hours with no furniture everything should be clean. I thought they'd offer for someone to come back or money off a next cleaning but they didn't offer anything except apologies.

I wanted a deep clean before I started moving all my stuff in, putting it in the cabinets, etc. Scrubbies gave me a competitive quote right away and were very responsive. I chose to go with them over the competitors. The service itself was great - the ladies cleaned my 1br for about an hour and a half, and left before I was back (with my permission). I got home and while parts of my apartment were clean, the inside of the fridge, the inside of the cabinets, and the baseboards had not been cleaned. I called Scrubbies, as they had requested feedback, and expressed my disappointment that perhaps I had a different expectation of "deep clean" than they did. They immediately said they wanted to rectify it and would come out the next morning to do so. Then the owner called me as well to apologize and said they would take care of it. Kendra came out the next morning and addressed everything I had asked about. Red Maids Cleaning sent me a follow up text to inquire how the service was. I let them know my concerns and they very graciously offered me complimentary services for my next appointment, and a good discount for the current service. I will preface by stating that the coordinate I interacted with (Yulissa) was kind, courteous, and had excellent customer service. The cleaners however were another story. They arrived 1 hr earlier than the agreed upon time, took their time cleaning (I found them sitting around chatting), and when I confronted them about the speed of their work, they said they were here early and blamed my house for being too big. Afterwards I was informed by Yulissa that the cleaners claimed I agreed to a 4 hr cleaning when I said no such thing. Their cleaning however was decent, and after confronted, very speedy and efficient. Price is also some of the best that I could find. Give this place a try, but be prepared to supervise the cleaners closely.
