    Queen bed room

Rooms are tiny but I enjoyed my stay here. It was just me and my toddler so we had enough space, but you literally have to put the bed in the upright couch position (yes the beds move) in order to have ample space to get your suitcases in and walk around to the bathroom. I love that the room is updated and modern. The shower is strong and hot! There's not much space to put your toiletries bag though. I would have felt cramped here if my husband was on the trip. The rooms are so small that you have to use the desk as a dresser to hold your clothes, fyi. I still give this hotel 5 stars though because of its awesome location (trader joe's is right next door) and the seaport area is super nice and safe. Additionally, I appreciated how nice the staff was. They let me check in at 7am since I got in on a red eye, and waived the $100 early check in fee for me. It truly made my week that I was able to check in early AND at no extra cost. Overall, great stay here! I'd book them again :)

I originally was worried about this place after seeing reviews. I've noticed that Yelp doesn't do hotels particularly well mostly because guests can have super different experiences based on luck and situation. I was here for a convention alone so this room did the trick. You see it everywhere that the rooms are small. Yes and that's the point. It was just me and it worked out just fine. The only drawback was that there were a bunch of hidden switches and buttons so it took me a couple of days to get the hang of it. They did housekeeping everyday which was kind of nice! The vibe of this place was pretty sweet and slick. The service at the front desk was excellent and its location cannot be beat. I wasn't a huge fan of their restaurants, but I guess nothing can be perfect. If you want a clean hotel that is far from boring and in a happening place, this will do the trick

It is as advertised - small rooms, clean and comfortable. If you're just looking to crash near the outdoor amphitheater in Boston, then this is the place. Affordable and has a nice breakfast in the morning. In the middle of everything.

Fun hotel. Small rooms but it was no surprise based on the website. Went for a corner room for a little upgrade in space. Had a problem in our original room and staff offered a new room without hesitation. Room was clean and fun with a bit of a modern/European vibe. Perfect location for a weekend in the Seaport. Lots of restaurants/bars/clubs/live entertainment as close as across the street and more writhing a short walk.

This is a great hotel for a visit to Boston. It is located next to the Courthouse Station, and if you want to walk about 15 minutes, you can access more transit lines at South Station without having to transfer. There's a restaurant on the first floor, and several restaurants are located near the hotel. There's a Trader Joe's right around the corner and a CVS about a block away. Yotel is in a convenient location. The hotel room is clean and compact. The bed must be extended by pressing a button to move the bed from a sitting position. There is an abundant amount of USB outlets. A folding chair is provided, and there's a slide-out desktop for your computer. There are built-in areas around the TV for putting your things and more charging outlets. One drawback is that there's no door between the sleeping area and the bathroom. There's only a curtain that still lets light and noise into the sleeping area. The bathroom has a towel warmer. A hairdryer, iron, and ironing board are supplied.

Yotel was always on the list of fun hotels I would like to stay at. So when I knew I was visiting Boston, I also knew this is where I wanted to stay. I booked before the holidays; and for staying during a holiday weekend, the price was extremely reasonable. This is in no way a 5 star hotel. But I definitely give them four stars. They rooms are the bare minimum but are extremely pleasing. They offer beds that incline, so great for sitting in the bed to watch tv. No robes or bath tub but the monsoon showers were very lovely as well as the towel warmers that are not so strategically placed (in the closet toilet). Mood lighting was awesome and turned off when no movement is detected after a while One minor detail that turned me off was when we ordered water bottles to our room that never arrived, so poor communication I'm assuming. Also the room lacked a mini fridge for keeping my food and drinks cold. No safe either??!!! We were able to drop off our bags since we arrived extra early and they allowed me to check in about an hour earlier and check out an hour later. There is no room service and the bar is extremely overpriced. Throughout everything though, I give it 4 stars. We were upgraded for free to a higher floor, maids did a nice job at cleaning our room and the bottom floor restaurant/bar were pretty good. I would stay back here again but probably not for a long time.

We decided to have a staycation and chose to explore Yotel and booked reservations at their two restaurants (Deck 12 and Vela, reviewed separately). I believe they were going through some renovations of their programs, since a lot of things were unfortunately broken and felt like they weren't thought out through. When arriving, it was easy to check in by ourselves at their tablets and get our room keys. Our room was cute and everything was flight themed! We were expecting to make full use of all their cool perks listed on the website. Unfortunately, many of them ended up being broken. We weren't able to use the chromecast in the room and the phone to call the concierge and HDMI ports were also broken. We had to make many trips up and down from our room to get the issues resolved since the phone wasn't working at first. The other thing that stood out was their cleaning staff was unaware of when the guests were checking out. We had a cleaning staff come knock on our door twice, asking us when we were leaving/checking out, even though we were checking out the next day. It kind of threw us into a panic, thinking we booked the wrong number of nights and woke us up in the morning. They also have a robot, YO2D2 that can deliver food to your room! It was super cute and a fun interaction.

Booked for a couple nights before a cruise. Love the location! Right in the Seaport, walk to everywhere. We even walked to Quincy Market and the aquarium. A mile from the cruise port. There is a great brewery, Trillium next door with great beer and food. A CVS and Trader Joe's close too! The room was so small but comfortable. The bed has a remote and turns into like a couch. There was a tv across from the bed and some cool backlighting. You could pick the color. The toilet and shower each had their own glass enclosures. We called them the cubes! There were no shelves in the bathroom but we were only there for a couple days so it was ok. We had a gorgeous view of the area out our window. Room was very quiet. The staff was super nice. I wish they offered free coffee later than 5:30-6:30 am though. We had a comforter and a sheet and asked for a blanket as the comforter was too much. They didn't have any available. We managed! Right by the tv were charging plugs and a bottle opener. It was a very nice hotel if you don't mind a tiny room!

We came all the way to Boston from Chicago to celebrate our recent engagement. We chose Yotel because we thought it was modern and right in the middle of many things we wanted to do. Our flight was early in the morning & we came in very tired. We were greeted by Manny at the front desk & he was so friendly, warm & welcoming. He had a beautiful ring on that looked just like my new engagement ring. I shared that I was recently engaged and he gave us the most heartfelt congratulations. We got to our room and it was immaculately clean & the bed is so comfy! We came back from a bit of exploring and we had a beautiful celebration gift from Manny. Manny- you are truly one of a kind and we appreciate you helping us celebrate our engagement! Your happiness is contagious & we would DEFINITELY come back to Yotel because of you & your service.

We loved this place, but I wish there was a fridge and microwave. The bed was cool and it was a cool concept, but our room was really small.

On the surface, this hotel presents as polished and upscale, but over time it became clear that it is a full-on Monet--looks good at a glance, but the closer you get, the more issues appear. During my stay, I was required to move rooms three times--once voluntarily after an upgrade, and twice due to serious maintenance issues, including a sprinkler-system flood. In subsequent rooms, I experienced repeated heating failures, inconsistent hot water, and even a shower head detaching during use. The heating issues were ongoing and never fully resolved. On multiple occasions, my room dropped to 66-67 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 80. Even after maintenance visits, the room never consistently warmed beyond 75 degrees. On the morning before my departure, I woke to cold air blowing again, confirming the problem persisted through the end of my stay. Management follow-through was disappointing. Promises to check back or assist were not kept, and communication was inconsistent at best. While beverage credit was offered, it did not come close to addressing the cumulative disruption, lack of rest, and stress caused by ongoing room issues over nearly seven weeks. The saving grace of this hotel was the weekday bartender, Rebecca. Monday through Friday, she greeted my colleagues and me with genuine warmth, professionalism, and grace after very long workdays. She was consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that level of service was not present on weekends, and our group ultimately chose to avoid the hotel bar until Rebecca returned. That said, I do want to acknowledge Shirley, Wendy, James, and Nate, who were consistently kind, professional, and helpful, as well as the valet staff, who were always efficient and courteous. This hotel may work for a very short stay if expectations are modest. For long-term or extended stays, however, the operational issues, lack of follow-through, and inconsistent hospitality do not align with the image or price point the property presents.

The Four Seasons also does this interesting thing where they give you a liquor that fits with your tea order, to be added if you wish or drank by itself. I had a sip of mine and from someone else's, a bit strong for me but a bailey's one was alright. I'm fine with just tea myself! As for the food, this year's high tea was one of the best I've had. Some of the food items included pieces of salmon in a little pastry, mini lobster roll, peking duck crepe, curried chicken croissant, a beautiful deviled egg, vanilla bean and brown butter scones, an eggnog tart, and a Santa hat shaped raspberry pastry. We even got some alternate options for a lactose sensitive person, so that's a great plus as well. The atmosphere was elegant and calming, and the service was great.
