Food was top notch. The host informed me that they bake and prepare almost everything. He said very few items are bought that need to be frozen. The area is well lit and even played Mexican music. Several TVs and a great selection of desserts. They have Pepsi!!!!

Super attentive service. Everything was very tasty. I had the Country Eggs Benedict, however with hollandaise sauce, I ate every bite. The only downside is they don't offer latte's and the lame excuse they have on why they don't offer them is it would be a conflict of interest with Starbucks in the same shopping center!! That's a nice way of saying they just don't want to spend the money on a espresso machine.

Went here for breakfast. The food is basic breakfast food. The quality was standard and perfectly acceptable, just nothing super exciting. I needed to add salt and hot sauce since it was a bit bland. The most disappointing thing was they don't offer lattes or different coffee drinks. The service was great, very attentive.

Love this place! Great music, fast friendly service and killer food! Giant portion of beer battered zucchini fries and a mimosa hit the spot! And those pies!! So tempting!

Food is great! Amazing sun exposure early I. The morning, it's start to get busy perhaps they can set the out door area, and make sure the one staff older lady smiles more, she is very rude! And is not the person to wake up too. Merced is a community either sunshine we need that energy for coming to this place to start our days and long hard work weekend. Overall the chef needs a price the food is so good that I can forget about the rest! Seating should be a bit quicker if they have tables, instead of saying someone call out!

Second time coming here and the food is always good. First time I got a breakfast burrito and I think I liked it a bit more. The chicken fried steak needed a bit more seasoning but it was still good. The service though is great and the place is also nice and cute.

I come here with my uncle at least once a month for breakfast, sometimes once a week. The food is literally the best, the steak, the eggs Benedict, the hamburgers, the meatloaf, and the pies are everything we always save room for pie or carrot cake. The service is always amazing never had a bad time here and will keep coming back every month.

Friday morning I went in to have breakfast with my son (9:45am) and surprisingly there was no line and nobody waiting. We waited to be seated just like the sign asked, waited for about 8-10 minutes without being approached by a hostess or anybody else. Finally after that time a shorter gentleman with glasses walks up to the podium with menus, puts the menus down, doesn't acknowledge us even though we were sitting directly across from the the podium and right next to the front doors. Then comes back and says "it's going to be a few minutes before I can seat you" (the whole right side of the restaurant was empty and directly in front of me on the left was maybe half full.) restaurant did not seem busy at all so I responded with "that's fine we can wait." Assuming it'd be maybe another minute or so up to 5 minutes. He walks away without another word and then doubles back and says it's gonna be about 15-20 minutes before I can seat you. I was one single adult with a 7 year old. The response Seemed a bit ridiculous and lazy in my opinion. This was my first and last visit unfortunately. I used to love Paul's place when it was on G Street and there was never issues like this all of a sudden they have a new name, new location and I don't believe I'd go back there again. Sad to say but Dennys offers better service than this.

The food is very straightforward. Typical diner options. The new location is nice and the servers are kind. The pies were delicious!

The restaurant looks nice but the food continues to be bland. I didn't really have any issue with the service.

The Service and food are great. Butttt I've been here a few amount of times and each time the food has been served cold.

We were all visiting from out of town and there was a group of 38 of us. I called and left a message and Giancarlo called me back right away. Giancarlo is an amazing owner/manager and helped set up our amazing experience. We were able to sit in the back room on 3 separate tables. Our original group grew from 30 to 38 and they were still able to accommodate us. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful - exquisitely decorated with an Italian grocery store next door. I love this! You can dine and shop in their amazing little store! Our dinner was absolutely delicious - I ordered the margherita pizza and my husband ordered the gorgonzola and fig pizza. Of course I didn't get any pictures because I ate it too quickly and was having too much fun! Our servers provided us with the best customer service and took such great care of us. They were so patient with our large group and truly treated us like family. I want to thank Giancarlo and his wonderful staff for the excellent service and food and helping our team's parents enjoy a wonderful time together. It was so memorable and we will always be grateful for this phenomenal experience! I highly recommend Bella Luna if you are in town and want some delicious Italian food and feel like a VIP. The servers and their amazing customer service are one of the biggest reasons I would come back again and again!

My friend and I were looking for a place halfway to meet. I found these guys on Yelp. Great reviews so I thought we would give it a try. It is a treasure! The place is cute. It's comfy with good oldies playing in the background. The food was amazing and seasoned perfectly. Their Portuguese beans is a family recipe and the best beans I have ever tasted. Biscuits and gravy was delicious. They are homemade and you can taste the love in it. We had the tri tip and like everything else - blown away how tender and flavorful it was. I was out in Merced a little too early for a work meeting, and wanted some coffee, but not a chain place. Lucky me I was actually just down the street from Jenny's bakery. I was warmly greeted as I came in and immediately feel the family charm of this business. Oldies were playing on the radio, and Jenny's husband was getting things ready in the kitchen. When I found out the Portuguese breakfast was her family recipe beans, and a half order of biscuits and gravy, I was set on what I wanted. I was provided an colorful coffee mug and allowed to have coffee to my hearts content. I opted for the holiday blend. It had a lovely hint of spices, but was not overwhelming. I had no longer sat down than my nice pipping hot bowl of Portuguese beans was placed in front of me and I thought it was a half order. They say it's a half order but that is the huge biscuit and with gravy you would need a party of four to finish. The flavor of the beans were just wonderful. I filled myself up on those and then sopped up some of the beans gravy with the biscuits. My taste buds were very happy. My stomach was over full. I enjoyed some banter with Jenny and her husband along with some patrons that came in. They really try to make everyone feel so much like they're just walking into a family kitchen. I highly recommend a stop and introduce yourself and make some new friends and find yourself a lovely bakery. That's been there right around the corner from the park.
